The Challenge With Change

Since nothing in this life is by accident, chance, or luck, coupled with the understanding that there is an assigned time affixed to every matter, indicating that no situation can go on forever.

Then, you must ask yourself, what is this ordained situation preparing me for? Just pause for a moment and seriously consider all the events and circumstances in your situation. Now, let's take it a step further. What is it doing to your thought process? Is it forcing you to see things differently? Is it causing you to behave differently?

You see, my friend, the physical part of change is relatively easy. It will always be the mental part of change that puts up the most significant resistance. Whatever your situation is, know for sure you're being prepared for what's coming; how you handle the preparation is another story!

When life opportunities arise, your current learning or lack thereof will influence whether you repeat your present circumstances.

My words of wisdom on this wonderful morning are simply this: Take another look at your situation, only this time, don't look at what it's doing to you; instead, view it as what it's doing for you!

The most challenging change in life is changing what you're mentally used to!

Your Results Will Mirror Your Connections

Every result, every conclusion, every end, or better yet, whatever position you've found yourself in right now,  will always be the sum total of the connections you have encountered during your journey to where you're at, at this present time. Bottom line: Whatever you have connected to has determined your end result.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor, Ecclesiastes 4:9.

As mentioned in the above scripture. The word "good" has become the hinge that opened the door to understanding the revelation of connections.

The scripture begins by stating that increase, progress, multiplication, replenishing, and the ability to advance quickly or at all will require a connection (Two are better than one). To push the envelope a little further, that connection WILL automatically change or alter what was seemingly ordinary in that person's life.

This same scripture now takes an unexpected twist: a "good reward" will result from their labor. The question that popped up in my head while studying and meditating on this powerful passage of scripture was, why did the writer, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, use the phrase "good reward"? Why didn't he say reward only and leave it like that? Based on the entirety of the scripture, I believe it will be fair to conclude that if two or more can produce a good reward, then two or more can have a bad reward.

In essence, your connections will inevitably produce some form of compensation for any efforts made. However, the type of Connections encountered will also determine the quality of what is produced from that connection. Thus, not all relationships, by default, will have a good reward.

Indulge me for a few moments as we focus on the word "reward," which is used in the text. The word reward is something given or received in return for a deed or service rendered. It also means assigning or receiving something in addition to what's present. For example, your Job may provide you with a bonus for doing exceptional service. Suggesting you are being rewarded monies outside of your regular pay.

In essence, our situations will become better or worse because of what we've attached ourselves to. Therefore, whatever we've connected ourselves to will take from us or add to us. That connection will either advance us or delay us, promote us or demote us. It will either make us better or make us bitter. Again, our relationships will continue to be the determining factor as to how things evolve and conclude in our lives.

At the end of the day, my friend, we must be honest with ourselves and admit whatever life is distributing. At some point along life's journey, our various situations require our co-corporation via our associations to produce whatever we're faced with presently and, by extension, in the future. As proof of this, the last word I want us to focus on in the above scripture is the word "labor." The word labor is defined as work. This has become very interesting because the text clearly states that two are better than one because they have a good reward for "THEIR LABOR" or their work. So with that being said, it now suggests that we were working in harmony with whomever or whatever we were or presently connected to, knowing or unknowingly, to produce what we are currently challenged with or enjoying today. So the reality is, no one has done this to us. Instead, we worked along or in concert with that particular connection to produce what we have now. I know I may sound repetitive, but it is all to cement this law into your understanding to provoke change in you.

I want to say to someone today who has been in a state of confusion and depression for some time now due to this ongoing non-sense in your life; it is not by accident or chance that you're reading this article. In fact, God is literally providing you with the root cause of your displeasing matter, and that root is what you have joined or connected yourself to. It is as simple as that. I submit to you that you could pray until the heavens come down. You could fast until you can't fast anymore. You could be slain in the spirit service after service, speak in tongues, or do whatever it is that you do to give the appearance of joy or contentment in your life. However, as long as you are still attached to that person, place, or thing, it will continue to be the source or root of your misery.

In the words of Jesus Christ, "If thy right hand offend thee cut it off" Matthew 5:30. This simply means removing the root of what's producing your end result of discomfort and unhappiness. The analogy that Jesus used is quite interesting because the hand that he indicated in the scripture is clearly needed. Still, the point here is if that one part is becoming a consistent problem for the whole, it must be removed.

What person, place, or thing you've attached yourself to that, based on this teaching, you know has been a source of misery? Nevertheless, you've become dependent (financially or whatever) on that place or person that has now made you a prisoner to the suffering that connection is producing for you?

Heavenly Father, it is my prayer today that you surgically remove the scales of denial in the life of the one reading this prayer so that they would be better able to see the source of the discomfort and confusion in their lives as a result of whoever or whatever they have associated themselves with. Finally, Father, we pray that you will replace that lousy connection with your choice connection to produce your desired results in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Lord, let this be a day of revelation and complete understanding coupled with the confidence to walk away and never associate themselves with that connection ever again.

The Genesis of frustration

It is more than crystal clear that everywhere you turn in our society and by extension the world, it would appear as if we’re surrounded by hordes of intense frustration.

It is my desire today to point out to you my many readers that frustration is not something that should be taken lightly or viewed as a regular part of life. Instead, it’s a red flag in most cases indicating to its victim that something is terribly wrong. As with all of my articles, it is imperative that I place emphasis on the spiritual understanding that all things visible and invisible (natural or spiritual) has its origin in the spirit realm. Therefore to address our problems efficiently and accurately, we must then go beyond its tentacles (the obvious problem) such as what’s being presented to us and begin to go on a spiritual journey to discover the spiritual root of what’s causing the problem in the first place.

In our efforts to determine the beginning or genesis of our many frustrations we must now put emphasis on the laws that govern frustration. Just in case you weren’t aware everything is ruled or governed by law or laws. In fact, the behavior of anything, for the most part, is simultaneously revealing the laws that are governing its behavior. For example, if you were to throw a ball up into the air, you know just as well as I do, that that ball will automatically begin descending. Reason being the law of gravity dictates that whatever goes up must automatically come back down, so even though we don’t see the law, we surely see the effects of the law. So based on that example, we should ask ourselves what are the laws invisibly impressed upon us that are governing or dictating frustration in our lives?

Well, let me start off by saying that frustration will always be as a result of expectation not being met. Again, this is the visible side of it suggesting, it is just a branch of the root. The source of frustration which I mentioned must be spiritual, meaning that there is something that you can not see (spiritual) that is preventing the growth or forward movement of what you do see. What this simply means is that there is something spiritual preventing your God given natural and spiritual ability to grow or advance. Therefore as a result of this blockage frustration is manifested.

Everything in God’s creation was created to grow or to evolve as a natural part of its life existence, in fact, the word blessing in its simplest understanding indicates or suggest growth or expansion. Genesis 1:28 made this abundantly clear when God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, (suggesting continuous growth). So it is the law of God that man’s primary purpose is to grow or increase in every area of his life. Thus the path of his destiny was made obstacle free from day one accompanied with all the tools necessary to maintain forward progress. So, as a challenge to God’s original purpose for man’s continuous growth in all areas of his life Satan developed the art of distraction. The tentacles of this distraction are manifested in the following: delay, hindrance, stumbling blocks and obstacles that will always be revealed through people, places and things to frustrate man’s natural ability to grow all to pollute and re-route his destiny.

One of the first recorded acts of frustration in the Bible is found in Genesis 4:1-10. It is the story of Cain and Able, the two sons of Adam and Eve who both presented an offering before the Lord. It is recorded that God rejected the offering of Cain but accepted the offering of his brother Able. Now, observe the calculated process of frustration carefully. Cain now becomes jealous that God rejected his offering but accepted his brother’s offering. So he’s now discouraged. Consequently, God’s rejection of his offering would have made him feel as if he’s not growing in his relationship with God, just as if you were rejected in any relationship it gives a feeling of stagnation or non-progress, in other words, your expectations of proceeding forward with that person is not being met. As a result, Cain progresses to a state of frustration; this frustration if not dealt with transitions to anger which in turn is promoted to bitterness and unfortunately the death of his brother Able. The point I am attempting to make here is that it all began with the spiritual law of growth that is embedded in all human beings, that was being challenged to the extent that the growth necessary was not being accomplished which will automatically PRODUCE THE FRUIT OF FRUSTRATION.

Now, for a brief moment do a quick scan of your life and begin to identify all the areas that you are frustrated in. Now based on the revelation we have unfolded you should quickly realize that the lack of money is not the source of your frustration, your troubled relationship is not the source of your frustration. The trouble on the job is not the source of your frustration. Neither your church or whatever group or organization you’re having trouble with is the source of your frustration or whatever it is that you have identified as the source of your frustrating. A genuine source of your frustration my friend is your inability to expand, increase or simply grow in whatever area that you’ve found yourself frustrated in. As a reminder, frustration is just the result of the seeds of some force resisting your spiritual God-given ability to grow, that has manifested itself in the form of physical stagnation or stun growth. Your relationship is frustrating because you guys are not growing, probably because it was never meant to be. If something was not meant to be it automatically indicates it can not grow, so frustration becomes the inevitable.

On the flip side, frustration can also be seen as a positive, in that it is an indicator that you have exhausted your time and purpose with a particular group, environment or people. Meaning there is nothing more to learn or achieve there, so frustration acts as a guide saying to you IT’S TIME TO MOVE ON! THE REALITY IS, YOUR ASSIGNED TIME AND PURPOSE FOR THAT TIME, PLACE AND PEOPLE IS OVER! AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE AS A RESULT OF YOUR SELFISH DESIRE TO NOT RELINQUISH WHERE YOUR TIME HAS EXPIRED THAT WILL CONTINUE TO FRUSTRATE YOU. I have had personal experience with the above scenario, where friends mysteriously became enemies, and the environments that I loved so much began to regurgitate me from my once comfort zone. What I didn’t know at the time was the frustration it produced for me was pushing and shoving me to my next assignment or purpose. It was then that I also learned that nothing is forever and every situation is indeed preparation for something else. So in such cases, I thanked God for the process of frustration that advanced me to my NEXT! Which could possibly be the case for you right now?

I want to pray with you today, and my prayer is two-fold, and that is:

1) That God will remove every spirit that’s challenging your ability to grow naturally in your relationships, finances, business, education and in every area of your life.

2) That God will accompany you with wisdom to identify which frustration in your life are indicators to cut off what’s holding you back so that you can be released into your destiny.

Heavenly Father I decree and declare a spiritual injunction against the Enemy of our souls to prevent all spiritual attacks against our natural God given ability to grow in every area of our lives. Father, it is also my prayer that you equip us with the understanding to decipher when frustration is saying to us it’s time to cut and go forward. Lord, we thank you in advance and believe it’s done in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

STOP BEING PASSIVE AND FIGHT!

I get very annoyed when I hear lazy Christians say things like: “Well, child, I leave it to God,” “It doesn’t make sense to fight—this is God’s battle,” or “Anyway, this will work out for my good no matter what they do.”

I want to emphasize that, despite the previous statements, you do have a role in the victory assigned to you. Your success depends entirely on your cooperation and involvement in that specific matter. The common saying, “What God has for me is for me,” might mistakenly suggest that no matter what occurs, you will receive what God has planned for you. This is a falsehood intended by the enemy to lead you, the lazy or procrastinating believer, to believe there is no fight necessary. Such thinking opens the door for Satan and his forces to take away what God has prepared for you.

What I mean is that Satan has the power and authority to alter your destiny and distort the outcomes God has already declared victorious, but only if you remain passive and take no action. Ultimately, his success depends on your complete cooperation. In effect, you unknowingly become a partner in your own downfall through your inaction.

Scripture reminds us with these words: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning” Isaiah 46:9-10.

The above scripture clearly states that God and God alone have already declared all the endings for believers. However, this does not mean, or even suggest, that Christians should sit back and relax as if the end God has declared will happen without resistance. Satan will not help or assist you in receiving God’s best for you; as a reminder, just in case you forgot, he is your ENEMY!

In fact, scripture directly addresses this misleading idea. “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way” Matthew 13:25.

As you might have realized, believing that your laziness, passiveness, or waiting on God means you have no part to play in this ongoing spiritual war—especially regarding your destiny and declared end—is simply not true! Remember, you are an active participant in shaping your future.

Many of you reading this haven't yet seen the promises or prophecies spoken over your life come to pass, nor experienced any change. While you were inactive (sleeping), Satan and his followers were sowing strategic seeds to prevent God’s stated outcome from manifesting in your life, aiming instead for Satan’s desired outcome.

As a reminder, we are involved in a spiritual battle. Unfortunately, this fight isn't visible to the eye because it involves unseen devices of your enemy. Nevertheless, do not be deceived into thinking there's no struggle. Many Christians are misinformed and lack spiritual education, refusing to study the Bible for themselves. This makes them casualties of spiritual warfare. I have encountered Christians who, even after presenting biblical evidence on a matter, still claim, "Well, Pastor says so and so, and I will go with that." My reply to such foolishness is that religious leaders like Jim Jones, David Koresh, and others have led many astray, resulting in death and possibly eternal separation from God, all because they refuse to read, study, and compare God's Word with their pastor's teachings.

We've been repeatedly warned that our fight isn't with people (flesh and blood) but with demonic forces capable of manipulating leaders like pastors, evangelists, and apostles if they're susceptible. I find it strange when I see leaders fail to encourage their congregation to read and study. Instead of engaging directly with the Bible, their followers are overwhelmed by teachings on seed offerings, first-fruits offerings, and various other offerings. For God's sake, when will the church teach believers how to engage in spiritual warfare against their relentless enemy, who seeks to destroy their lives and condemn them to a Christless hell? Has your pastor or church ever taught you about the spiritual armor of God, which you should wear daily, especially before prayer (Ephesians 6:11, 13)? Are you aware that, despite fasting and praying, you might be suffering significant losses because you're not dressed for battle?

What about the Angelic host God has assigned to you, as seen in Psalm 91:11-12? Are you aware that for the Angels to fight for you, you need to speak the word of God because it is the only thing they respond to, according to Psalm 103:20? Do you realize there is a principality (a demonic prince ruling over a region) controlling every country, community, and family that fights against ministering angels from delivering God's answers to your prayers and breakthroughs, and also opposes the will of God for your life (destiny), as referenced in Daniel 10:12-14? Are you aware that you can identify who these ruling demonic princes are over your family, community, and nation by observing the many evils happening in the land, as Proverbs 28:2 states? Do you understand that the word of God is literally sharper than any two-edged sword in the spirit realm (Hebrews 12:4) and that your faith is a literal shield in the spirit realm, designed to quench the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16)? I could continue. Still, how does the focus on sowing prepare you for battle? Trust me, I do not dismiss sowing seed. Instead, if I learn the protocols and armor of spiritual warfare, I can prevent my seed from being devoured before it ever has a chance to harvest.

As a reminder, Hosea the prophet of God said, "My people (meaning the people of God) are perishing (being destroyed, lacking, always sick, always broke) because they are lacking knowledge" Hosea 4:6. So, at the end of the day, Pastor Jim Jones led nearly a thousand so-called believers of Jesus Christ to their deaths by convincing them to drink Kool Aid mixed with cyanide. I don't believe the cyanide was the leading cause of their deaths. Instead, it was their lack of study of the word of God that made them puppets of their puppet masters. Again, the scriptures are clear, “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD" Jeremiah 17:5.

There are many, if they could return from the grave, would tell you, “Put on the whole armor of God and declare the word of God against the enemies of your destiny and God’s declared end for every area of your life. I am going to kindly ask you right now to excuse me, but I just have to say to you, “GET UP OFF OF YOUR DUFF AND BEGIN SPEAKING CONSISTENTLY THE WORD OF GOD AGAINST THE DEVOURERS OF YOUR DESTINY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! Whether you believe it or not there is an invisible army of darkness fighting your destiny and the destiny of your love ones every step of the way, unfortunately due to our ignorance we assist them with this.

Be aware that the enemy is secretly sowing seeds against your destiny, whether you’re sleeping or choosing a passive stance. The effects of his actions will become evident through future setbacks and a diverted destiny. I urge you today to start fighting by learning how to do so, and that means studying your war manual, which is your BIBLE.

Father, we curse every spirit that is undermining and contaminating our preordained outcome, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. We command every spirit of ignorance to be cast out from every believer in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
