Psalm 41: Seven Blessings for Those Who Care for the Poor

Psalm 41:1-3 offers a clear and beautiful picture of how God sees those who care for the poor and less fortunate.

"Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness." (Psalm 41:1-3)

To "consider" the poor means more than noticing their condition. It means paying attention, discerning what is needed, and responding with wise compassion, whether through food, clothing, financial support, education, employment, transportation, or other practical help.

Psalm 41:1-3 reveals seven benefits connected with caring for the less fortunate.

1. God Will Deliver You in Times of Trouble

"The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble." (Psalm 41:1)

Scripture does not promise a life free from trouble. It promises God's help when trouble comes. When you help others through hardship, Psalm 41 points you back to God's faithfulness in your own times of need.

2. God Will Preserve You

"The LORD will preserve him." (Psalm 41:2)

God's preservation includes both protection and keeping. We may never see or know some dangers He protects us from. Generosity should not be measured only by what leaves our hands, but also by the care God shows in return.

3. God Will Keep You Alive

"And keep him alive." (Psalm 41:2)

Life belongs to God, and Psalm 41 shows that He pays attention to those who care for others' suffering. Jesus expressed a similar principle in Matthew 25:40:

"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:40)

When we help people in need, God takes it personally.

4. You Will Be Blessed Upon the Earth

"And he shall be blessed upon the earth." (Psalm 41:2)

Biblical blessing is not limited to money. Health, peace, wisdom, opportunity, protection, provision, and healthy relationships are all expressions of God's blessing. Psalm 41 teaches that God attaches earthly blessings to caring for the poor.

5. God Will Protect You from Your Enemies

"Thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies." (Psalm 41:2)

The Bible does not say generous people will never face enemies. It says God will not surrender them to their enemies' desires. Your enemies may desire your failure, but their desires do not determine your future. God has the final word.

6. God Will Strengthen You During Sickness

"The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing." (Psalm 41:3)

Generosity does not guarantee a life free from sickness. The promise is strength in the middle of weakness. The same God who saw you helping someone in their difficult season promises to strengthen you in yours.

7. God Will Care for You During Times of Weakness

"Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness." (Psalm 41:3)

This verse paints a tender picture of God personally caring for someone in sickness and distress. You cared about someone else's suffering; God will care about yours.

Receive these promises through mercy, not as a transaction. Psalm 41 teaches that God sees practical love and responds with faithful care.

Giving to the Poor Is Not a Get-Rich Formula

Psalm 41 should never be reduced to the idea of giving money simply to receive more money in return. At the heart of the passage is compassion.

"He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." (Proverbs 19:17)

The person you help may never be able to repay you, but God remembers what you have done. That is why service to the vulnerable is never wasted in God's eyes.

You might feed the hungry, help a struggling family, assist an elderly person, support someone's education, help someone find employment, or open a door for someone rebuilding their life. You do not have to be wealthy to make a difference. Begin with what God has already placed in your hands.

Seven Forms of Faithful Care

In summary, Psalm 41 teaches us to trust God for seven forms of faithful care:

1. Help in times of trouble
2. Preservation and protection
3. Sustaining life
4. Earthly blessing
5. Protection from the will of enemies
6. Strength in sickness
7. Care in weakness

We often pray, "Lord, bless me." But Psalm 41 invites us to ask a deeper question of stewardship:

"Lord, who have You blessed me to help?"

True stewardship is not only about what we possess. It is about using what God has entrusted to us to bless someone who cannot repay us. This is the promise and the invitation of Psalm 41: "Blessed is he that considereth the poor."

A Prayer for Healing and Restoration

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I come before You today, thanking You for Your mercy, Your grace, Your faithfulness, and most importantly, Your Word.

Standing on God's promise to heal

Father, Your Word is clear that You are the God who heals, restores, strengthens, and preserves. According to Exodus 15:26, You declared:

"I am the LORD that healeth thee." (Exodus 15:26)

Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us not to forget Your benefits, for You forgive our iniquities and heal our diseases. Therefore, Father, I choose to bring my confidence back to what You have said, rather than allowing fear, symptoms, negative reports, or circumstances to have the final Word over my mind.

Father, I acknowledge that healing ultimately belongs to You. I also acknowledge that You can work through prayer, physicians, medicine, proper nutrition, rest, wise decisions, treatment, and whatever legitimate means You choose to use. Give me the wisdom and humility to cooperate with every avenue You provide for my healing.

Your Word says in Proverbs 4:20-22:

"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." (Proverbs 4:20-22)

So Father, I choose to attend to Your Word.
I choose to meditate on Your promises rather than meditate continually on sickness.
I choose to fill my mind with truth rather than fear.
I choose to believe that no diagnosis, no condition, and no physical limitation is greater than You.

A prayer for healing over every part of the body

Father, according to Isaiah 53:5, Your Word declares concerning Jesus Christ:

"He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

Therefore, I ask You to release Your healing power into every area of my body that is weak, injured, diseased, inflamed, infected, damaged, or functioning outside of the order in which You created it to function.

Father, touch my body from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet.
Bring healing to my brain.
Bring healing to my heart.
Bring healing to my blood.
Bring healing to my nervous system.
Bring healing to my immune system.
Bring healing to my bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and tissues.
Bring healing to my lungs and respiratory system.
Bring healing to my kidneys, liver, stomach, intestines, pancreas, and every internal organ.
Bring healing to my eyes and ears.
Bring healing to my reproductive system.
Bring healing to my hormones and every chemical process within my body.

Where there is inflammation, bring order.
Where there is infection, bring healing.
Where there is abnormal growth, bring correction.
Where cells are damaged, Father, restore them according to Your will.
Where there is chronic pain, give relief.
Where there is weakness, give strength.
Where there is exhaustion, bring restoration.
Where there is confusion concerning what is happening in my body, give wisdom and clarity.

A prayer for restoration, not just relief

Father, according to Jeremiah 30:17, You said:

"For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 30:17)

Therefore, I pray for restoration, not merely temporary relief.

Restore what sickness has taken.
Restore strength.
Restore energy.
Restore mobility.
Restore appetite where appropriate.
Restore sleep.
Restore concentration.
Restore peace.
Restore physical capacity.
Restore my ability to do the things illness has prevented me from doing.

A prayer against fear

Father, I also pray against the spirit of fear. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7:

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

Therefore, I refuse to allow fear to govern my thinking.
I refuse to constantly imagine the worst.
I refuse to allow every pain, every sensation, every medical test, or every doctor's appointment to send my mind into panic.

Father, give me a sound mind. Help me to distinguish between legitimate medical concern and fear-driven imagination. Teach me to respond wisely instead of emotionally.

A prayer of self-examination

Father, if there is anything in my lifestyle that is contributing to poor health, reveal it to me.

If my eating habits must change, give me discipline.
If I need more rest, help me to rest.
If I need exercise, give me consistency.
If stress is damaging my body, teach me how to establish healthier boundaries.
If unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, or unresolved emotional pain is affecting me, expose it so that I can deal with it biblically.
If I have neglected medical advice that I should have followed, give me wisdom to correct that.

Your Word says in James 1:5:

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God..." (James 1:5)

Father, I am asking for wisdom concerning my health.

Lead me to the right doctors.
Lead me to the right information.
Lead me to the right treatment.
Protect me from misinformation.
Protect me from desperation.
Protect me from people who would exploit sickness for money.
Protect me from anyone who would tell me that I must purchase healing, sow money for healing, or pay for something that only You can give.

Your Gospel is not for sale. Your power is not merchandise.

Sending the Word into my situation

Father, according to Psalm 107:20:

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." (Psalm 107:20)

Send Your Word into my situation.
Let Your Word expose every lie.
Let Your Word renew my thinking.
Let Your Word increase my faith.
Let Your Word strengthen me as I recover.

And Father, if this healing is a process rather than an immediate event, give me patience throughout the process.

Do not allow impatience to cause me to abandon wisdom.
Do not allow discouragement to cause me to stop praying.
Do not allow a slow recovery to convince me that You have abandoned me.

You have taught us that there are times and seasons for everything under heaven. So Father, even while I am believing You for healing, help me to learn everything this season is teaching me.

If there is knowledge I need, give it to me.
If there is a principle I have violated, reveal it.
If there is something I need to change, give me the courage to change it.
If there is something I cannot change, give me grace to endure while continuing to trust You.

A prayer for others in treatment

Father, I pray also for those who are presently undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, dialysis, physical therapy, rehabilitation, medication treatment, counseling, or long-term medical care.

Strengthen them.
Guide the physicians.
Give wisdom to the nurses.
Give accuracy to the technicians.
Let medications work as intended and protect them from harmful complications.
Give medical professionals insight where the diagnosis is unclear.
Open doors to resources for those who cannot afford treatment.
Provide for families whose finances have been affected by sickness.
Comfort those who are tired from caring for loved ones.

Father, I pray specifically for those who have been told that their situation is impossible. Remind them that a medical prognosis describes what professionals presently understand; it does not remove Your sovereignty. Give them wisdom to face reality without surrendering hope. Let their faith never become denial, but let it become confidence that You remain God regardless of what the circumstances say.

Declaring life

Father, I declare Psalm 118:17:

"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD." (Psalm 118:17)

I declare life over my mind.
Life over my body.
Life over my future.

And while I believe You for healing, I also surrender myself to Your will. My faith is not based on demanding that You perform according to my timetable. My faith is based on trusting Your character, Your wisdom, Your power, and Your Word.

Father, strengthen my faith when I am weak.
Strengthen me when the symptoms return.
Strengthen me when test results are delayed.
Strengthen me when I feel tired of fighting.

Remind me that my present condition does not automatically define my future. Remind me that nothing in this life remains the same forever. Remind me that You are still God in the good report, and You are still God while I wait for the report to change.

Thanksgiving and surrender

Father, I thank You in advance for every measure of healing, recovery, restoration, wisdom, strength, peace, and progress that You will bring into my life.

I thank You for doctors.
I thank You for medicine.
I thank You for knowledge.
I thank You for prayer.
I thank You for Your Word.
And most importantly, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, through whom I have access to You.

I place my body, my mind, my health, and my future into Your hands. Father, let Your will be done in my life, and give me the wisdom and discipline to cooperate with the principles You have established for my well-being.

I ask these things in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Go Forth and Recover All In 2016!

At about 6 am this morning, 12/15/2015, I had a very challenging dream that I am convinced was God's answer to me about 2016.

Just to backtrack a little. I was compelled to fast for almost two weeks, which ended just last Friday. During this fast, I was seeking God for many things and had many unanswered questions about certain losses in my life. Well, as a result of my dream this morning, I am convinced that not only did God answer me, but I am convinced the message given to me in my dream is for all who would take heed and begin to put into action the instructions of the dream.

In my dream this morning, I was standing in a church, specifically near a pulpit, observing a gentleman accompanied by two ladies standing at his immediate left. This gentleman was preaching, but for some reason, he seemed as if something invisible were preventing him from preaching. In fact, it seemed as if the words he was speaking did not make sense. As I began to look out at the congregation, I saw only three old ladies, all no less than 65 years old, sitting at the very last bench at the back of the church. However, they looked at each other in complete amazement at what this man was saying. In fact, it didn't even seem to be the English language he was speaking. The more I observed this gentleman, the more frustrated he seemed with the three ladies present in the church.

Suddenly, I was given a signal, but I don't recall by whom that I would be up next to preach. Within seconds, the gentleman who was preaching and the ladies who accompanied him vanished with no trace of them even being there. Immediately, a young man walked up to me (someone I know in reality to be an enemy) and handed me the Mic. This person held his head down while walking towards me, and even after handing me the Mic.

Instantly, when I received the Mic, the church mushroomed into what seemed like a stadium filled to capacity with hundreds of thousands of people. The people were anxious and literally cheering me on to release a word from the Lord to them. I began to pace the pulpit floor, wondering what I would say to the people. For some strange reason, I could not come up with anything. The crowd then became agitated because they were desperate for a word from the Lord.

As I retreated to the pulpit with one hand holding on to the pulpit, I then took about two to three steps back from the pulpit, and it was as if everything around me disappeared, and there was complete silence. At that moment, I said to myself, "Lord, I need a word from you for the people." It was at that moment when I made this request in actuality, talking to myself, I heard an internal voice that spoke to me as clear as day. The voice said to me, "Tell my people to go forth and recover all." Immediately, I was returned to the pulpit with the resumption of the crowd's noise, again, impatiently waiting on a word from the Lord. I then walked down from the pulpit, being totally overwhelmed by the word of the Lord for the people.

I gripped the Mic tightly as I got to the floor just below the platform. I shouted with a loud voice while looking up in the stands, observing hundreds of thousands of people, literally saying to the crowd, "The word of the Lord for his people is, GO FORTH AND RECOVER ALL." At this point, the crowd began to jump up and down and moved about in great excitement and encouragement. I have never seen anything like that in my life. The crowd started to shout and literally roar, all because of the word of the Lord. In all honesty, I became so excited in the dream that I felt as if the word of the Lord was a go-ahead sign for all who would believe his words.

The following is my interpretation of my dream. Firstly, the gentleman I saw was symbolic of preachers whose time has expired but still trying to hold on to a place that has rejected them. The old ladies in the church, who were the only folks in the congregation, symbolized the older folks who attend church only as a tradition but have become entirely despondent by the same old tired non-anointed message. The empty church implies a lack of interest in the church among all walks of life, simply because of "out of touch" leaders who have become irrelevant and spiritually deaf to the voice of the Holy Spirit, and who refuse to step aside for God's new wave of leadership that will actually obey his voice. The two ladies who stood at the preacher's left are symbols of evil spirits, namely Jezebel spirits that have controlled such leaders and, as a result, influenced them to become obsessed with controlling their membership to the point that folks just had enough and left. Thus leaving these controlling leaders all by themselves, with only a handful of folks who are more committed to the tradition of attending church than to truly hearing the word of the Lord.

I mentioned that I was given a signal in my dream to be up next to preach, but I did not recall who gave me the indication. In any event, the person who passed me the Mic is an enemy in reality. This section of the dream brought the following scripture to mind: "When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him. In other words, this transition that God is about to do with the replacing of leadership, even your haters and oppressors, will have no choice but to fall in line with the will of God as his new set of leaders is about to mount the stage of life.

I also mentioned that when the Mic was passed to me, the church mushroomed from 3 old ladies in the congregation to what appeared to be a stadium filled with literally hundreds of thousands of people in great expectation of a word from the Lord. Scripture says the following regarding this portion of the dream, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God" Romans 8:19. In other words, a particular anointing comes along with this new breed of leaders, whose anointing will place a demand on folks that once had no interest in church and the things of God to return to their first love. Only this time, it will not be about worshiping a leader or everything surrounding the leader of a congregation. Instead, the expectation will be on the word of God that will be released from the man or woman of God!

Amazingly, in this dream, I could not come up with anything to say or preach to this massive crowd. If you can recall, I mentioned that at one point, I stood at the pulpit, took a few steps back, and ended up in this isolated space where everything vanished around me, and it was also at this point I said to myself, "Lord, I need a word for your people." I am convinced that this new breed of leadership must entirely depend on God and abolish their own agendas. As you would have observed, it was only when I gave up on my own way of trying to come up with something and internally asked God for a word for the people that a word from the Lord was given to me!

The words released to me became the most crucial part of the dream. As a reminder, when I released these words to this word-hungry crowd, they literally became overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Nevertheless, it is the interpretation of those words that now speaks to the entirety of the coming year 2016.

I believe, based on the words given by the Lord, that we as people of God have been given the green light to go forward and recover everything that was either taken from us, deprived of, or what we've lost in the past. In any event, the word recover implies getting back or regaining something that was either taken away or lost. It also means that whatever it is that God is asking us to recover, initially, he had set aside just for us. In addition to this, I am also convinced that if God is asking us to go forth and recover all, it would suggest that he has removed all barriers, partitions, impediments, and whatever else prevented us from recovering whatever we failed to recover before.

I believe that this command from God, and our obedience to it, will require boldness and a fearless spirit that will lead us to strategically invade the enemy's camp. However, this fearlessness and boldness will be automatic for us if our confidence is cemented in the word of God. In other words, the word of the Lord, "Go forth and recover all," should be our confidence that everything is in place for us to recover all.

The bottom line is this! Whatever you have lost, whatever was stolen from you, whatever you've failed at, go back and attempt it again because this time is your set time to recover all! If you had issues conceiving, go and try again. Have you lost your home or property to foreclosure? Get ready for total recovery? Were you deprived of your promotion? Get ready to recover all. Families, marriages, and businesses, beginning now and the entirety of 2016, will be a year of recovery for those who believe the word of the Lord and act upon his word. You will not recover pieces; instead, as the Lord has commanded, YOU SHALL RECOVER ALL!

In closing, I would like to make it unequivocally clear about my dream: the new breed of leaders has always been here. Instead, they were oppressed by the current insecure, controlling leaders who refused to step down and pass on the baton to the next generation. As a result, they have clogged the pipes of progress and enslaved the people with traditions that have made the word of God ineffective. However, the time is quickly approaching where God is about to sit them down permanently, only to usher in his new team that will lead us up to the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Please read 1 Samuel 30 for a deeper understanding of the results of going forth to recover all. Also, I would strongly advise you to make a list titled "Go forth and recover all." List everything that you have lost and that was stolen from you. Now prepare to make a mark, check each lost as recovered, as you walk in faith according to the command of the Lord!

"GO FORTH AND RECOVER ALL" in 2016!

The Law of Common Denominator: Why Person X Keeps Showing Up in Your Trouble

"Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and
from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee... And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran." (Genesis 12:1, 5)

Isn't this the story of our lives? God specifically asks us to leave a particular place or person, but for some strange reason, we see the need to bring along the very people who were the reason God asked us to leave in the first place.

The Law of Common Denominator

Indulge me for a few minutes as I present the law of the common denominator. Every time you're in trouble, it's because of Person X. Every time you're broke, it's because of Person X. Every time you're feeling miserable and confused, no gas in the car, no food in the house, no money in the bank, it's because of Person X.

Better yet, why is it that whenever you discuss the future concerning Person X, you use the word "we," but when Person X speaks of future events, they use the word "I"?

Can't you see how much your life has digressed since Person X was factored into it? The law of the common denominator suggests that whenever the same thing or person pops up every time hell breaks loose, identifying the problem becomes relatively easy. In this case, it's clearly Person X.

Person X Is Anointed to Delay You

My friend, the grim reality is that some folks are anointed by Satan to prevent you from progressing. Not only are they gifted at making sure you do not make progress, but they master the art of delaying you at every point in your life.

Enough with the excuses. You know just as well as I do that it's time to sever the root of what you already know to be your problem. The few tears you will shed now are nothing compared to the heartaches awaiting you in the future if you continue to tag along with Person X. The story of Lot and Abraham is a perfect example of your end result when you pollute your destiny with what you should have left behind long ago. Lot drew Abraham into unnecessary matters he should never have been involved with. The bottom line is that Person X is damaged and tainted goods, carrying the seeds of unhappiness and confusion. If you don't believe me, look at their life. It is littered with destruction, chaos, empty promises, and a consistent pace of going nowhere.

Cutting the Root

I don't know who you are today, but you have overstayed your welcome with someone or something you should have tossed aside long ago. As a result of your delay, you're becoming bitter, miserable, angry, and, most of all, frustrated, not to mention losing precious time you cannot regain.

The real danger, my friend, is that if you do not heed this advice now, you will never be able to recognize God's intended place or person for you, because you'll be too busy beating them with what Person X did to you in the past.

Recognizing What God Has for You

Many of you reading this right now probably already have an idea of God's choice for your life, even as I declare this word to you. But because you refuse to release what has happened in the past, or you've released it too late, bitterness and anger have superseded your ability to recognize and appreciate what is presently suitable for your life.

Ask God to release your mind, spirit, and soul from the curse of the law of the common denominator, so that it becomes easy to remove Person X, or to put behind you what Person X has done to you.

I pray that God will not only heal your heart but spiritually open your eyes, so that you may see clearly, physically and spiritually, and that the obstacles the enemy has set on your path of destiny be consumed by the fire of God Almighty.

Father, I pray that You release those who desire to be removed from the chokehold of Satan now, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Mystery of Restoration.

A few months ago, I experienced the displeasure of having my home broken into, with the culprits taking a few laptops and other personal and expensive items with them.

Outside of everything that was stolen. My laptop with all my writings, photos, etc., could not be replaced. Aside from that, the laptop was recently given to me as a gift.

Many questions revolved in my head, one of them being why God would allow this, especially when I continually asked for his protection for my home and family. Nevertheless, when the police officers were at the house doing their investigation, I recalled a teaching I did called, "Give thanks in all things for this is the will of God concerning you. At this point, I stepped outside, raised my hands to the skies, and began to thank God even though logically it did not make sense, and I could not understand how this could possibly be God's will for my life.

It would be months later that the same episode happened to a good friend of mine, and it was at that time God released the answer, or should I say mystery, to me that I was so desperately seeking.

In an attempt to bring comfort due to the things my friend had lost. I was reminded of a passage of scripture in (Proverbs. 6:30-31) that blew the lid off of everything for me. The scripture reads, "Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; but if he is found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

The lord began to point out to me that another law of increase supersedes the law of sowing and reaping when it comes to quantity. The sowing and reaping principle states that whatever I give, I shall receive in return (Gal. 6:7. On the other hand, the mystery of restoration dictates that if I discover the thief that has been stealing my goods, I now possess the right to demand restoration, no less than sevenfold of my original goods and all he has.

In this text, we've discovered the purpose of the thief. The word says that the thief's sole purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. However, Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly (Jn. 10:10. At the same time, Jesus' mission is to cause restoration by the thief of all that he's stolen, again no less than sevenfold, which is considered giving life and abundant living.

So, for you out there that have been in a state of confusion and perplexity. In terms of why would God allow that foreclosure, bankruptcy, folks to break into your home and remove your stuff you've worked so hard for, the loss of a job, the loss of friends, etc.

Just for a few seconds, review what's really been happening to you. The facts are the thief has been robbing you. God's desire is to increase you, but for an extraordinary increase, he must permit the thief to relieve you of some stuff that not only needs to be replaced but multiplied. Now that the mystery has been revealed begin by giving God thanks for losing that home, job, business, and money. Thank him for the closed doors, bank rejections, and disappointments. You're doing this because he said to give thanks in all things, including good and bad, for the word says that this is his will concerning you (1 Thess. 5:18. Scripture further reminds us that "ALL" things work together for our good (Romans. 8:28. For too long, Christians have purposely deceived themselves by categorizing good as God and bad as the Devil. No! not so, because God is sovereign. He rules over the good and bad that happen in your life. This is why he could boldly say in his word that the good and the bad must equal good for you, and the word good is beneficial or profitable to you.

However, last but most importantly, now that we've discovered that we've been robbed by Satan operating through flesh and blood (Humans), we have a spiritual, legal right to make a demand on him according to the law of God to return unto us the sevenfold minimum and give all the substance of his house in the glorious and matchless name of Jesus Christ.

What Does It Mean to Be Real? Titles, Honesty, and the Truth We Accept

Maybe I spend too much time alone, or maybe I am just overly analytical. In any case, I am beginning to recognize a simple fact: in today's world, especially in relationships, whether work, romantic, platonic, or business, people struggle to be genuine with others, or even with themselves. So now I'm left with a question that's been lingering in my mind, and I bet you're probably wondering the same thing. What does it really mean to be real?

This topic deeply frustrates me. I feel disgusted that people deliberately lie to exploit the naive trust you show when you want to believe what they tell you. While reading this article, my words may come across as passionate at times, and I appreciate your patience as you consider my perspective. I believe most people will agree with the reasoning I am trying to share.

Growing up as a young boy, it was normal for children to try to impress each other by exaggerating what their parents did for a living, pretending to be someone they weren't, or even lying about things they didn't really possess. As kids, this could be seen as normal behavior, because the purpose of this "game," so to speak, was to win the favor of the person you were telling this to, hoping to become friends or, at the very least, leave a good impression.

Ironically, some people, after consistent practice, transition from viewing it as a game to seeing it as a way of life, their reality. This shift is where it gets frightening, because it involves not just their perception of reality but also their integrity.

A false reality has no title requirement.

Before I go any further, I want to make it clear that this is not reserved for any specific group of people. It applies to anyone who presents what I call a false reality: deliberate displays of well-crafted untruths designed to convince you that their version of reality is true. This can include preachers, managers, spouses, bosses, and even friends. Anyone who exhibits this behavior falls into this category and should ask themselves what it means to be truly real.

Through my research, I've learned that some people use their so-called titles or labels to persuade, and sometimes confuse, others about what is truly real. Think about when you catch your partner with someone else in a compromising situation, and when you confront them, their usual reply is, "As your husband, you think I would do something like that to you." Or consider a boss who frequently tells staff that the company values family, "family first," yet when you ask for a day off to attend your child's sports event during work hours, they act as if you've lost your mind.

My point is that people often want you to believe that holding a title like husband, boss, or manager makes them more credible. In reality, these titles don't define a person's character or their reasoning ability.

Do they even question what they tell you?

This raises a new question: do these individuals critically assess what they tell you, or are they so self-centered that they think their words should be accepted as absolute truth without question?

My research has yielded that these people see you in one of two ways, or even both:

• They disrespect you as a human being and do not care how you think or feel regarding the truth they so eagerly flee from when speaking to you.
• They do not care how you view their integrity. After all, they are the boss, the spouse, the preacher, whatever the title. These titles become the halos they hide under to exude a saintly appearance, as if to say, "I would never deceive you."

However, the question remains: who exactly is to blame? Is it the person trying to make you believe something you know is not true, or could it be you, acting as a subliminal co-conspirator in the inaccuracies of the reality they are attempting to spoon-feed you?

What being real actually requires

Remember the question I asked as the topic of this article: what is the reality of being real? The truth is, you know when people are being dishonest and untruthful with what they tell you, and very little of it has ever truly become reality. You recognize this because their integrity generally speaks for itself.

Still, you must take a respectful stance and be genuine with them. Let them know you're not a fool and you didn't fall off the idiot truck. Then point out the inaccuracies in their stories, supported by proof of the falsehoods you've uncovered, and let them know you'd appreciate it if they were more realistic and respectful toward you, just as you have been toward them.

Finally, I think we can all agree that people will treat you only as much as you permit. Their perceived reality does not have to be your actual reality if you're honest with them, instead of subconsciously colluding with them to your own detriment.
