Destroying The Evil Covenants Of Our Ancestors

"Our ancestors have sinned, but now they're dead, but we, the current generation, are left to bear their iniquities" Lamentations 5:7

When observed from the surface, the above scripture may not seem to be a significant passage. However, when we analytically review this particular scripture and measure it up to the quality of our lives, Surprisingly, there seems to be a realistic comparison. For example, you were disciplined in your studies to attain a master's degree. However, you now realize that even while being equipped with such a prestigious degree. It was not sufficient to prevent you from

being a victim of the negative pattern of divorce prevalent in your family. Aside from the above example, you were considered for a well-deserved promotion only to learn that someone less qualified was given the promotion. To make matters worse, your doctor's report just came back confirming that you have been diagnosed with Cancer. Again, while you may have been the only one in your family to break the ceiling of education to achieve a master's degree, it did not stop the all too common negative patterns that are synonymous with your family lineage, such as Cancer, divorce, anti-promotion, etc.

Many of us have observed these vicious, ruthless, evil patterns playing themselves out in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We've reasoned with these occurrences and chalked it up by concluding that such things happen daily to everyone. Many of you, likely reading this article, have had men and women of God speak into your lives or even prophesy about things changing, such as a future promotion, a new home, etc. Nevertheless, because such prophecies have not panned out, we can quickly label the prophets as false prophets. Now, while I agree that there are many false prophets, I also know that from a biblical perspective, an underlying, undiagnosed spiritual issue could prevent certain things from happening in your life.

The scripture mentioned above, a spiritual law, exposes the evil patterns that manifest in our lives. By extension, the lives of our fellow family members do have an origin! In other words, the cycles of negative patterns in our lives are not happening because they could happen or they're happening by chance. Instead, there were certain forbidden practices that our ancestors engaged in that automatically levied these consistent evil patterns on us. This prohibited practice of which I speak is known from a biblical perspective as idol worship, which we learn to be witchcraft, Voodoo, Obeah, Santeria, etc.

In the book of Exodus 20:2-5, it reads as follows:

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and the land of slavery. You shall have no other "gods" before me. You shall not make an image (idol) for yourself in the form of anything in heaven above, on the earth beneath, or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me."

The above scripture has made it clear as it relates to God's position on serving and worshiping other gods and that the punishment of such behavior would be where God (not Satan) will punish the present children of those that practice such forbidden acts and extend it all the way up to their third and fourth generation. As a result of this law now explains why you are either not achieving or not able to go past a certain point or even living a life of negative evil patterns that have literally disabled and crippled you and your family.

With the above understanding in mind, we must also realize that when our ancestors from the fourth generation decided to seek solutions or wanted to place a "fix, hex, spell or curse" on someone through the assistance of witchcraft workers. They unknowingly were causing curses to be levied on us who weren't even born yet, which would have spiritually set restrictions and limitations on us as soon as we were born. So, in essence, those evil covenants established with evil spirits for whatever reason are affecting us to this day simply because they were never confessed or recognized and broken, renounced, etc.

You might say, "Well, Kevin, my parents and grandparents were men and women of God, so what you're saying certainly does not apply to my family and me. You may be correct, but let's look at it differently. Do you recall your parents, grandparents, or any family member mopping their floor with turpentine, Florida Water? What about sprinkling salt around the home, sprinkling ammonia inside the house, or placing garlic on their person to ward off spirits? What about tying black strings around the child's wrist or leg when they become irritable and find it difficult to sleep? Let's take it a step further. What about the specific candles your parents, etc., would burn over a particular piece of paper or place a piece with someone's name written on it on the inside of their shoes? What was that big evil-looking book that your parents or grandparents always seem to be able to retrieve and recite specific stuff from when someone did them or any other family wrong?

You see, my friend, it was these acts, and so many other things that our ancestors and even living relatives (who also claim to be men and women of God) were and are engaging in that has caused us to be limited physically, all due to what they did spiritually. You cannot allow this to continue now that your understanding has been enlightened. In fact, you must not enter into 2017 with these same spiritual restrictions as a result of evil covenants established between your ancestors and evil spirits when participating in witchcraft. If you are a Christian, then you were given power by our Lord Jesus Christ to destroy all evil covenants and evil ordinances that have been unknowingly set up against you, according to Luke 10:19

Please, either now or at the beginning of next year, enter a three-day fast to expressly renounce, reject, and break all evil covenants that have covertly or overtly been speaking against your destiny as a result of the spiritual ignorance of your parents or ancestors which has caused you not to progress in life. Begin by asking God to forgive the iniquities of your ancestors and your own sins, according to Leviticus 26:40-41. Then retrieve scriptures relative to what Christ has done for you on the cross, according to Galatians 3, and include such scriptures in your prayers during your fast, all to break the spiritual shackles that have held you back for so many years. You have asked the Lord why your life has turned out the way it did; nowhere is your answer. "Through knowledge shall the just be delivered" Proverbs 11:9. What happens for you physically next year will depend on what you have broken and renounce spiritually either now or at the beginning of next year!

What did they do, that has me like this

Back in the day similar to now, there were many families that were challenged in making ends meet. Many of them got second jobs, worked a lot of overtime, etc just so that they would be able to provide for their families.

However, there were heads of some families who sought different means in an attempt to change their negative financial circumstances. As with most cases, their solutions were not derived from a classified in a news paper or some get rich quick scheme being offered in a magazine. Instead they resorted to ancestral family spiritual traditions in an effort to bring change to their physical circumstances.  It is my attempt today as with all my writings and that is to provide you with spiritual insight into this secret world of evil covenants that has covertly permeated our society in such a way that many of us today are suffering as a result of it even though we had absolutely nothing to do with it or have any knowledge of it.

I was told of a very interesting story sometime ago by a lady that just could not understanding the strange negative happenings that seem to be synonymous with her family. She went on to say that she has conclude that her family is curse! Her reason for this conclusion was the fact that all of her siblings including her parents faced unimaginable hardship in life such as, it was difficult for them to get married (they all married late in life). All of them eventually divorced with in  five years of the marriage. It was difficult for them to have children and for those that did have children, their children were either mentally challenged or displayed strange behavior. While her and her siblings were academically smart, they always struggled financially including their parents. She told me that they were never in a position to help others or even help among themselves simply because it was either difficult to secure a job, the jobs that they did get never paid much or they could never save their pay because something would always come up and consume their savings.

This lady went on to say that it was as a result of reading my articles, that challenged her and brought to her memory a story she over heard her well up in age father repeating to a family member. The father, said that during the course of his early years, life was extremely difficult and it was a struggle to put food on the table. However, there was an uncle of the father who suggested to him if he was interested in changing his "luck" so that he could live a more prosperous life and that life would be better for him and his children. Of course the father was more than interested. The uncle told him that he would take him to see a "spiritual lady". Anyway, the father agreed. Long story short the Father was told by this lady that he could "buy luck" but there would be a certain ritual that would have to be performed in order to change his financial circumstances. He was asked to bring a photo of all of his children which he did. The lady then constructed a small box that had the appearance of a miniature casket which all of the children photos were placed in. He was then instructed to visit the cemetery at a certain time during the night and bury the  box with his children's photos in it along with the agreed payment to the "spirits". While listening to this story I didn't even realize how much I was nodding my head from left to right in utter disbelief and in complete amazement as to how could a father agree to such an ominous request. 

I told this obviously confused and frustrated lady, that I am happy she told me this story because it was as a result of what her father did that has created and is currently maintaining the family's continued hardship today. First of all, like I have repeatedly mentioned in so many of my articles and that is spirits need the co-operation of human beings to operate in the earth.  This is so because human being and not spirits have dominion over the earth Gen 1:26-28. The so called "spiritual lady" was none other than a witch who took advantage of the spiritual ignorance of the father by having him via the ritual sacrifice the destinies of his children for a temporary change in his financial state, which in reality never panned out. Scripture clearly warns us of the following, "Do not seek mediums or spiritists, for you will be defiled by them, for I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 19:31. The word defile in this text means to change something from its original or to pollute the original of something. So in essence we are warned that if we decide to engage the services of witch doctors, Obeah folks spiritualist etc we are in fact changing God's original destiny for us to that of Satan's destiny for us.

Therefore, due to spirits not being omnipresent (only God is omnipresent) , then certain items from a person would be used to identify the individual that's being targeted spiritually such as their blood, hair, fingernail clippings, photos, recently worn clothing etc. This explains why the photos were requested by this witch from the father. Unknowing to the father, he's being manipulated into forging an agreement or what is know as an evil covenant in exchange for his "good luck" with Satan and his agents disguised as agents of righteousness. When the father agreed to bury the box in the cemetery  with his children's photo in it, unknowing to him he also agreeing to bury the destiny of his children and future generations. In fact the spiritual implications of what he did was equal to what Esau did when he sold his birth rights to his brother Jacob for food, Genesis 25:29-34. In doing so Easu surrendered his destiny by selling his birth right to is brother Jacob. You see my friend, spiritual ignorance will always place you at a disadvantage. As a reminder scripture says that we are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13. 

Now, to this very day where those items were buried, it is the demonic altar that literally controls the destiny of not only the children but the entire family and even those that will be born in the future. Did I mentioned that this family is a Christian family? I'm mentioning this simply because even though they are a Christian family this does not automatically break the covenant that the father ignorantly put in place years ago that's dictating the negative circumstances in his family today. In the case of this family, the evil covenant must be confessed, renounced and broken via intense prayer and fasting. If not then as long as the current family is alive including generations to come will suffer the same vicious cycle of hardship and failures. As a reminder, what this father did was a tradition back then and even today and Jesus Christ clearly said to the church and Pharisees who were the leaders of the church in his day, "Thus have you made the commandments of God ineffective as a result of your tradition" Matthew 15:6. In other words, even as Christians if we still hold on to or engage in witchcraft traditions then the power of God is automatically suspended in our lives. This is why a Christian who was saved for decades, however, they are plagued with chronic illnesses, poverty. hardship etc. Simply because they refuse to give up the tradition of mopping their floors with Florida water, spiritual turpentine, wearing certain items for protection etc. God will not honor his covenant with us if we continue to hold on to the covenants of devils.

My friends, trust me when I say to you that there are many in our society and communities that are unknowingly in this same cycle of hardship and anti-progress but can not understand why it's happening to them and their family. Unfortunately, they are not aware (a lack of knowledge) of secret rituals that were done in the past with the intent to advance the one that performed it at the time. I want to pause here for a second just to mention that this activity is not limited to witchcraft but also to secret societies and organizations through out our communities where pledges, oaths, covenants and sworn secrecy is a must to either join them or to advance in their groups. Believe me when I say to you that most of the relentless challenges we face today are as a result of what our ancestors did in the past. The spiritual law that governs this says the following, "Our ancestors have sinned and now they are dead but we the current generations are left to carry their burden" Lamentations 5:7. In other words we are paying the price of what our ancestors did. This scripture also suggest that are troubles did not begin with us or on the day that our troubles began.

I will leave you with the following scriptures that I am sure will make clear to you the reader, that you can not mix the things of God with the things of devils and still expect to get ahead. "But I say, that the things that the gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye can not drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye can not be partakers of the Lord's table and at the table of devils" 1 Corinthians 10:20-21. "No man can serve two masters: for he will either hate one and love the other; or else he will hold on to one , and despise the other. Ye can not serve God and Mammon" Matthew 6:24.

Curses Obtain Through Cursed Property

Scripture says, "For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."

Luke 16:18

"I am completely confused by the statement above. Even though believers in Jesus Christ have been filled with the Holy Ghost and saved for many years, they are still struggling with limitations, setbacks, and a reduced quality of life. Meanwhile, I have noticed that non-believers, whether knowingly or unknowingly, are operating by spiritual principles and enjoying the benefits that come with them.

Those who do not believe in Jesus Christ may not be eligible to spend eternity with him after death. However, they can still lead a good quality of life by following spiritual laws, regardless of their awareness of such laws.

In today's teaching, we will discuss cursed properties and the curses that can be acquired through them. Although this may seem unbelievable, the knowledge shared in this session will help you better understand spiritual matters and change your perspective.

Is there such a thing as a cursed property? It is said that a property can be cursed, and various stories in the Bible support this belief. One such story is about Joshua, the leader of the children of Israel, and Jericho. After the walls of Jericho fell, Joshua stood before the land and declared, "May the curse of the LORD fall on anyone who tries to rebuild the town of Jericho. At the cost of his firstborn son, he will lay its foundation. He will set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son" (Joshua 6:26).

Although it may seem at first glance that Joshua's words were just a meaningless rant, their spiritual implications profoundly impacted the land of Jericho. Almost 600 years later, a man named Hiel, who was from Bethel and had no knowledge of the curse placed on Jericho by Joshua, attempted to redevelop the city. According to the Bible's account, while Hiel was constructing the foundation of Jericho, his first son Abiram passed away. Similarly, as he was about to set up the gates of Jericho, his youngest son, Segub, also passed away. The Scripture clearly stated that this was the result of what Joshua had spoken over Jericho 600 years prior, as mentioned in I Kings 16:34. This raises the question - is it possible that someone's negative words over your property, life, etc., be the cause of the chaos you are currently experiencing?  

In the book of Jeremiah, God instructed the prophet not to marry or have children in the land where he was living. Specifically, God warned that the children, parents, and grandparents would face terrible deaths. They would suffer from famine, their bodies would be eaten by birds, and no one would mourn for them. Instead, they would be like waste on the face of the earth. This is described in Jeremiah 16:1-8.

God told Jeremiah in no uncertain terms that any connection to that land that was apparently under a curse would bring utter misery to him or anyone who associates with that land. Scripture further records that God said to Jeremiah that the day would come when the inhabitants would ask why all this evil had come upon us. 

God said to tell them that this evil is the result of their ancestors who abandoned the Lord and decided to serve other gods. Additionally, he said that this current generation has done worse than their ancestors. Question! Isn't it strange how everyone from a particular state, community, village, Island, or country exhibits specific negative behavior? Such as Adultery, dishonesty, sexual perversion, lying, etc.?

Based on these teachings, have you ever wondered what occurred on that land that has secured a consistent negative cycle for all the inhabitants there? Don't you find it strange that all the men and women from "a certain place" have either been diagnosed with cancer or died from cancer? Let's bring it home to you. How come everyone from your town or settlement has financial difficulties? Why do most women from a particular place during their first and second pregnancies end with a miscarriage? What about all the men from a specific part of your state who seem to have mental issues?

In Judges 6, it is recorded that the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and consequently, the Midianites took over their land. The Midianites literally made them a stranger in their own land. In fact, it was almost as if the promised land was working against the children of Israel. It would be discovered later that Gideon's father had erected an altar in his home and was serving other gods. As a result, the land became cursed for the children of Israel. Question! Which family member has planted whatever on that land that has caused the ground to become unfruitful, no one wants to purchase it, and impossible to rent. Better yet! How is it that everyone who resides on that land experiences sickness, confusion, fatigue, and non-progress, which have become a way of life for them?

In Deuteronomy 7, God warned the children of Israel as they were about to enter Canaan. He cautioned them against marrying or making covenants with the inhabitants of Canaan. God also instructed the children of Israel to destroy the Canaanites' images, jewelry, altars, and groves by fire. The land was cursed, and its inhabitants served other gods and dedicated everything they owned to these gods. Anyone who made covenants or shared possessions with them would be cursed. 

Therefore, it's essential to consider the origin of your jewelry and any items you may have acquired from yard sales or elsewhere. If you bring in items from a cursed place, your home may become a place of torment. Similarly, it's essential to be cautious in your relationships and avoid those with a controlling attitude, as this may stem from their origins and the gods they serve.

 I would like to remind you of the quote I began this article with, which is from the Scripture: "For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light" (Luke 16:18). I believe this is true because most unbelievers realize that everything originates from the spiritual world. As a result, they focus their attention on this area to achieve their desired outcomes. However, believers tend to concentrate on the physical realm, thus resulting in their consistent non-progress.

In Joshua 9, the children of Israel made a covenant with the Gibeonites, whereby the children were not to harm or even kill the Gibeonites. Years later, King Saul killed the Gibeonites and, as a result, brought evil upon the land of Israel, resulting in a famine for 3 years during King David's reign. Therefore, the land was barren and unable to be produced then. Again, the ground itself was cursed, and so were its inhabitants because of what King Saul had done in the past. Question! What evil covenant was established on your property via witchcraft, and due to the demonic sacrifices offered to other gods, all hell has broken loose on that property.

Some of the signs that would identify generation curses acquired through cursed properties are:

-Never able to complete projects on that property

- Constant sickness among the inhabitants of that property

-You are never able to prosper while on that property

- Almost impossible to married or have children while on that property

- While on that property, you're plagued with confusion and frustration

- Strange noises in the buildings of that property, along with strange odors

- Almost impossible to maintain relationships while on that property

- Vehicles, machinery, and electrical equipment are always in need of repair

- The inhabitants of that property are pruned for mishaps and misfortune.

- Suffer from significant bouts of depression and anxiety

- Children will not excel educationally, will always face trouble, etc.

The above signs are just a few of the myriad issues one will experience while residing on a cursed property. Please! Take a moment and ask God to clarify if the property you own, rent, or occupy is under a generational curse and, as a result, you're being challenged by it. Ask God to provide you with the necessary knowledge to deliver you from this position you've found yourself in. This is necessary because Scripture says, "Through knowledge shall the just be delivered" Proverbs 11:9.

My friend, if there is one thing that I know about deliverance, it is that you must first want to be delivered. Stop suffering unnecessarily and begin to fight back with the spiritual knowledge that God has provided for you in this article.

Ignorance Empowers & Renews the lease on Generational curses

Spiritual laws will quickly point out to us that in order for a generational curse or any curse for that matter to exist or run its course, there must be legal ground to establish and begin its destructive cycle.

The first spiritual law of generational curses dictates that a curse that has no cause cannot come upon anyone or any family, Proverbs 26:2. This law quickly dispels the notion that someone can curse anyone at will or a generational curse just automatically passes on from generation to generation. In the case of a generational curse, it will be the “INIQUITY” that must be sustained throughout the generations to support or give cause for the generational curse to run its course, Exodus 34:7and Exodus 20:5.

Secondly, the law of ignorance plays a pivotal role in the oppression and progression of generational curses. A generational curse cannot perform its full impact without the full cooperation of its victim. How is this you may ask? Well, the victim is unknowingly working towards his own demise via his ignorance that they are not only under a generational curse but ignoring all the visible signs of it.

Scripture points out to us in Ephesians 6:12, of  four ranks of demonic activity that we are wrestling against, and they are:

1) Principalities

2) Powers

3) Rulers of the darkness of this world and

4) Spiritual wickedness in high places

The above orders/ranks are all spiritual, meaning they are not visible to the human eye, thus, places us at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, for the sake of this teaching, I would like for us to focus on the third order which is, “RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD.” Rulers are those that govern, supervise or exercise control. Darkness in this text symbolizes “ignorance.” Therefore, this specific order of demonic activity is solely responsible for keeping us “IGNORANT OF THE SPIRITUAL LAWS.”

Due to these forces being spiritual/invisible they work through human agents such as religious leaders and Charlatans, who subscribe to traditions, philosophy, ideology and everything else that moves us away from the bible which contains the spiritual laws that we need to combat these stubborn evil forces. My friend, please read carefully what I am about to say to you next. Any church, religious institution, religious leader or whomever that insist on substituting the laws, principles, commandments, and protocols of God with money, miracle water, miracle oils, etc. are agents of the Devil assigned to your life only to tie you up spiritually so that it would be impossible for you to make progress physically.

Anyone that understands laws understands that everything is governed by some type of law. Therefore, the spirit realm is no different. Like I have said so many times before, the spirit world is where it all begins, simply because it's the origin of all things. As a result of this understanding, it is understood that to achieve or succeed with anything physically, then it must be established spiritually first! Friends! Please understand that absolutely everything that is experienced in our natural world was conceived in the spirit realm. With this being said, you must focus on the spiritual things of your life and begin making corrections and adjustments in those areas if you desire to maintain and sustain any victory in your natural life. The spiritual areas of your life would be your words, thoughts, dreams the word of God, voices that are not accompanied by a physical body, etc. As a reminder, the Apostle Paul warned us when he said, "Set not your eyes on the things that are seen for what is seen is temporal (subject to change). Instead, focus on that which you cannot physically see with your eyes for these things are eternal, whatever it is that we can not see with our eyes are indeed spiritual, 2 Corinthians 4:18.

As a reminder, In Hosea 4:6 and Isaiah 5:13 the common phrase used in both scriptures is "My people are in bondage or are being destroyed due to their lack of KNOWLEDGE." It did not say that the people of God were being destroyed because they lack miracle water, miracle oils, miracle cloths and the like. Scriptures stick a pin in the following point by saying that it will be through "KNOWLEDGE" that the just will be delivered, Proverbs 11:9. Again, if they're not giving you the spiritual knowledge of God which is the only thing that can deliver us, then they are simply misleading you.

Again, generational curses are real, and for the most part, your life has been shackled with limitations and setbacks due to your ignorance of the obvious generational curses that are upon your family. Stop qualifying the curse to remain in your family with the fuel of ignorance and begin fighting with the word of God!

Did You Marry Into A Generational Curse?

Unfortunately, generational curses are not just limited or reserved to bloodlines, ancestors, or generations past.

The reality is you can marry or forge business covenants that can tie you into a generational curse. This is a critical point to note because most folks are not aware of this spiritual law. Firstly, marriages in and of themselves are indeed covenants, and Scripture furthers adds that the two shall become one.

With the above being said, God specifically stated to the children of Israel; not to make any covenants with the inhabitants of Canaan, neither shall they establish marriages with them. In fact, God specifically said, "Do not give your daughters to their sons, neither allow their sons to marry your daughters" The reason for this was, they would eventually turn the children of Israel from their God and cause them to serve strange gods.

God further instructed the children of Israel to destroy all their altars, break down their images, cut down their groves and burn their graven images with fire, Deuteronomy: 7:3-5.

In reading the above passage of Scripture, it would appear that God was biased or showed favoritism towards the children of Israel. However, the spiritual implications that these people and their objects carry due to their worshiping of demonic gods. So to forge any type of covenants with them, including marriage or having their wicked items, automatically brought a curse on their victims, thus, making them inclusive of the generational curses that were already dominating the Canaanites.

Hence, it is essential to do significant research on the person you intend to become one with in marriage. Our responsibility is to do your homework. Learning as much as possible about both sides of their family, especially from a spiritual perspective. I promise you in doing this, you will save yourself from enormous headaches, disappointments, and financial losses in the future.  Satan is adamant when it comes to securing a curse on us. The reason for this is to cause a continuous cycle of negativity to destroy our lives but, more importantly, to keep us from our destiny. Make no mistake, covenants are secured by "IGNORANCE," meaning the curses will continue to dominate your life as long as you do not know one even exist in your life.

Isn't it amazing that even when the marriage was dissolved, you're still experiencing adverse effects from it? This is so because even though your physical marriage has ended by the laws of the land. You must also remember that while proceeding through the channels of a legal divorce. The reality is you also made a spiritual covenant to be bound to that person. Therefore, if you did not break the spiritual part of the covenant, then the curses still have a right to continue their cycle of defeat and negativity in your life.

Consequently, any items from that divorce that were not severed spiritually are all points of contact to continue the curse in your life and, by extension, your future relationships.  Have you noticed that most of the relationships you experienced after your divorce display the same behavior as your past relationship? As usual, the relationship starts out fine, then out of nowhere, the relationship becomes a repeat of your former relationship. Again, this is happening because you lack an understanding of the spiritual laws involved. Also, Satan is making a joke out of our life due to our ignorance of spiritual laws. There has to be a spiritual severing of the soul ties via the spiritual covenant that is still in place from the former marriage, accompanied by getting rid of what came along with it, such as jewelry, property, clothing, etc. This is why God insisted that the children of Israel destroy anything remotely attached to the curse over these folks.

Do you recall the story of Achan in Joshua chapter 7? Just like the rest of Israel, he was told not to take the "accursed thing" out of the city of Jericho once the walls of Jericho collapsed. Long story short, he took of the accursed thing, and as a result, his wife and children, who had no idea of what he did, were all killed with him. Question! Why wasn't anyone else killed? Well, no one else was married to Achan other than his wife, so as the head of his family, the moment he made contact with the accursed thing, he made everyone else in his family a part of the curse.

There is so much behind that tall, dark, and handsome guy; there is so much behind that drop-dead gorgeous college degree-holding female. What you've failed to recognize are the inequities embedded in the spiritual order of their family, which constitutes a generational curse according to Exodus 20:5, Exodus 34:7. Eventually, you will have to contend with this generational curse due to the covenant you've made with them and simultaneously made you a victim of the generational curses that are already in place.

Generational curses set limitations on families. It does not matter how educated, wealthy, healthy, or prosperous that person may appear. There is indeed a fixed period of that individual's life before whatever generational curse begins to run its course in that person's life and, by extension, your life as a result of your marital or business covenant with them.

If you are divorced, please begin breaking the spiritual covenant that was simultaneously established when you physically got married. As a reminder, two covenants are established when marriage is involved: spiritual and physical covenants. This also applies to relationships where sexual intercourse was involved. Sexual intercourse creates spiritual covenants, otherwise known as soul ties. This explains why every guy you meet turns out to be similar to the last person you got rid of, or every woman you meet only wants you for what you can do for her. Break the soul ties of spiritual covenants created via sexual intercourse so that you can be realigned to your destiny and break the cycle of poor choices.

What did they say that placed you under a generational curse?

You are indeed the personification of the words that others including you have spoken over your life. It should be

crystal clear to you based on these teachings on generational curses, that the main purpose of a generational curse is to not only set limitations on one’s life but more importantly to keep that person and their family in an endless defeated non-progressive cycle until the day they die. Also, these teachings would have pointed out to many, that the power of a generational curse is based on the ignorance and full participation of its victim.

Today we’ll explore the understanding of generational curses generated through words spoken over our lives, particularly during the course of our childhood years. “You will never amount to anything”, “You are so stupid”, “You’ll never have a good husband/wife”, “Your siblings will always be better than you”. It was and is statements like what I have just mentioned and many more like them that are spiritually dominating people’s lives today. These folks have zero idea that when they made the choice to believe such statements they simultaneously made the choice to accept what would become a generational curse that if not addressed they will in turn do the same thing to their children.

Now the spiritual principal in which this understanding is based is found in Proverbs, 18:21. This scriptures clearly says the following, “DEATH and LIFE is in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall it of its fruit”. So in a nut shell it is understood that our words which are spirit (John 6:63) has the ability to summons death to someone or something or summons life to someone or something. Simply put, words which are spiritual will program the spirit of that person in which those words are being spoken over.

Secondly, generational curses that are generated through words require the participating of its victim, unknowing to the victim of course. Meaning the victim must believe or consistently meditate on those evil words that have been spoken over their life. If the victim does not challenge those words by cancelling, rebuking, praying against or casting those evil words out of their minds, then those evil  words by default will begin their negative cycle of what was spoken over the victim.

Scripture provides a classic story in regards of this understanding. In Genesis 49:1-4, we’re told that Jacob was preparing to die so he requested the attendance of all his sons to speak over their lives concerning their future. Jacob said to Reuben his eldest son, “Thou art my first born, my might and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity and the excellency of power”. In this passage of scripture, Jacob described what his eldest son meant to him, not only as his first born but more importantly his first born son. However, Jacob switched on his son Reuben and began to curse him, Jacob said to Reuben, “You are as unstable as water and you will never excel in life” Genesis 49:4. Unknowing to Reuben this seemingly non-serious act will later pan out for him and his future generation’s hardship and non-progress.

When we trace the lineage of Reuben and his descendants from the day his father cursed him, we’ll discover that the generations of Ruben never did excel and they were very much unstable. In fact it would be hundreds of years later when Moses blessed the children of Israel prior to his death and prior to the children of Israel going into the promise land, that he recognized the generational curse on the tribe of Reuben and literally broke the curse. Here is what Moses said in regards to breaking the generational curse on Reuben’s descendants, “Let Reuben live and not die and let not his men be few” Deuteronomy 33:6. If you trace the lineage of Reuben from this point forward you will discover that as a result of the generational curse being broken by Moses, Reuben's descendants prospered and were able to live and achieve a better quality of life. This is why it is so important to understand spiritual laws and the application of them. Again, those seemingly meaningless words re-routed the destiny of Reuben and his future generations.

The spirit realm can either be bound or released by our words. Do you recall the scripture that says, "Whatever we release on earth has been released in heaven, and whatever we bind of earth has been bound in heaven, Matt. 18:18? Well, if you review the scripture carefully the spirit realm (Heaven) is just waiting on us to agree with it so that manifestation can take place in the earth. Released and bound are words to describe past events, which scripture clearly said that heaven has already done. This again is spiritual law my friend!

What evil negative words did Mom. Dad, Pastor, Boss, Husband, Wife, Leader, friend or enemy spoke over your life that has program you and your family for failure, defeat and limitations in life? Please! Take a moment, and based on this divine revelation ask God to bring to your memory all negative words spoken against you and your future generations. Now ask God to destroy the spiritual root of all negative words spoken over your life especially false demonic prophecies by false prophets that you were not aware of. Ask him to cancel all of their words and to re-route you on the destiny he had originally intended for you to be on prior to the negative words that have placed you on a destiny of LIMITATIONS AND SETBACKS!

The law of generational curses made us victims

As we dig into the spiritual laws concerning generational curses, it will amaze the average church goer as to where was all this information located. Why didn't some preacher, teacher inform them concerning this?

In today’s teaching, we will discover how the confession and repentance of generational curses. Particularly that of our forefather can suspend the penalty of a curse that's levied on a family's life. As a reminder there is always a penalty for sin, so even though one has been forgiven of his confessed sin, the consequences of that sin still loom and require payment. This also provides understanding as to why current generations are being recompensed for past generations deeds. 

In 1 Kings 21, it is recorded that King Ahab wanted to purchase a piece of property from his neighbor Naboth. Naboth refused to sell King Ahab this property because it was an inheritance from his father. Well, the story goes on to say that King Ahab became very upset as a result of this disappointment and explained the incident to his wife, Jezebel. Long story short Jezebel had Naboth killed and had the property released to her husband, King Ahab.

God had the prophet Elijah visit King Ahab revealing to him not only what his wife and himself had done but how God will bring evil upon them take away their posterity and also told them what their demise will be like. Scripture says that when Ahab heard those words, he tore his clothing, fasted and seek God.

Now here is the fascinating part of this story. God said to the prophet Elijah, “Because King Ahab humbled himself before me: I will not bring this evil during his lifetime. Instead, I will pass the evil that King Ahab deserved on to his son’s days (future generation).

As you would have read, the participation of evil requires a penalty. Now based on the above spiritual law, even though King Ahab was the one that committed this evil, his humility and repentance to God caused God to deferred the penalty within his lifetime. However, there must be a payment of that penalty, and as a result, it was passed on to his future generation, which again makes it a generational curse.

This was also the case with King David when he slept with Bathsheba. It was the sleeping with Bathsheba, impregnating her and having her husband killed that created a generational curse but again, due to King David's  repentance, God forgave him and told him that the penalty of his evil will not take place in his lifetime but will be transferred to his descendants. Well, of course, we all know the troubles that broke out beginning with his children. Tamar is raped by her brother Amnon. Absalom exacting revenge two years later by killing his brother Amnon. Absalom then being killed by Joab the captain of the army of Israel and it goes on and on all because everyone is ignorant to the invisible influence on the family that's causing them to do things that they would not normally do, but at the same time, it creates a cycle of bondage.

Like I have reiterating throughout these teachings, just like in the cases of King David and King Ahab in spite of their personal repentance and not breaking the established curse that was already in progress, their future generation will experience all types of negative cycles all because of what they did during the course of their lives. If you read the history of their decedents their lives were saturated with cycles of negativity, again, all because of something they (future generations) had absolutely nothing to do with.

Question! What repetitious hell are you and your family experiencing today, that was as a result of someone else’s evil, but because it was never identified and broken, you and your family are paying the penalty today?  While I would readily agree that it is entirely unfair that we must pay for someone else's evil the reality is, the law is the law!

My friend generational curses are real and must be identified and immediately address. It is these evils that go unnoticed or ignored in families that secure a negative repeat of the past for many households. Please tell your Preacher, Teacher or Religious leader to educate you properly, meaning preach and teach a balanced gospel that contains blessings and cursing and how to address both to achieve success in life. 

“Again, our fathers have sinned, and now they are dead but we the current generation will give birth to their iniquities” Lamentations 5:7

Our ancestors have polluted our destiny

Generational curses are by far Satan’s most subtle weapons against mankind. Not to mention the fact that generational curses are some of the most misunderstood in its nature and character by most religious preachers and teachers.

Unfortunately, most teachings that are taught on generational curses are just saturated with the visible aspect of these curses, such as, the frequency of divorce in a family, poverty, failed relationships, barrenness, sickness etc which are only the branches of the root which will always be spiritual. very rarely if ever are we taught about the spiritual aspect and origin of how generational curses are established spiritually in an effort for us to put an end to its relentless cycle physically.

Today we are about to venture into some deep revelation. In fact the understanding of what is about to be revealed via the Holy Spirit will simultaneously unveil to you how the erroneous teachings and misunderstanding of some religious institutions has not only kept you in bondage but via their ignorance maintained the consistency of your bondage. Scripture has repeatedly suggested to us that a lack of knowledge is the only ingredient that has been successfully securing our failure and destruction, Hosea 4:6. Interestingly enough Isaiah 5:13 reiterates this same point when it said, “My people are gone into captivity (bondage, incarceration, imprisoned, caged etc) because they lack knowledge. So far we can safely conclude based on the above mentioned scriptures that in order for one to fail, be defeated or destroyed there must be an absence of “KNOWLEDGE”. Knowledge simply means to be aware of something.

There are many Christians and sinners alike attempting any and everything possible to break the negative cycles of defeat, failure, poverty, sickness, frustration and the like in their lives but for some reason things as usual seems as if they are becoming rather worse than better. I know of Christians who have been saved for decades and are still bound and shackled to poverty, lack, sickness, disease etc. Some have fasted for 10, 20 and in some extreme cases 40 day but again, absolutely nothing has changed.

The number one question as a result of these folks frustration is, “What is wrong?”, “If God would only reveal to me what the problem is, and then I would fix it”. Well my friend today is your day for deliverance, scripture says, “Through “KNOWLEDGE” shall the just be delivered” Proverbs 11:9. Therefore, knowledge is the precondition to any form of deliverance in regards to spiritual freedom that will automatically produce physical freedom from the limitations that were once set on your life. With this being said let’s get right into it.

The foundation of anyone or anything will determine its integrity, its appearance, its sustainability but more importantly its quality of life. Meaning, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior qualifies us for heaven but in reality has absolutely zero to do with our quality of life while on earth. Our quality of life as a born again believer will be solely based on our application of the spiritual laws and principles that are saturated in the bible. Therefore, if you came from a family that practiced witchcraft and somehow you were initiated via blood covenants, drinking certain concoctions, being bath by some witch Doctor with special liquids or in certain places like the sea, canals, rivers etc. Then an evil covenant was forged unknowing to you. As a result your foundation has been compromised. So even after accepting Jesus Christ as lord and savior you will still experience failures, setbacks, non-progress and the like because the covenants and curses of the past has yet to be renounced, and broken via the application of the works of the cross, even though this person is a member of the body of Christ!

Scripture says the following, “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3. Your foundation is your past generations, bloodline and ancestors. It is through their wickedness they have compromise or polluted our foundation that has been securing the relentless generational curses that’s manifesting in our lives. Jesus Christ gave an even clearer understanding of this in Matthew 7:24-27, more specifically when he spoke about the foolish man who built his house upon the sand. Jesus said that when the elements descended upon the house it fell and great was its fall. Again, this scripture is clearly indicating that if your spiritual foundation has been compromised or tampered with then you will not be able to stand against the spiritual attacks hurled against you. Thus conforming you to a life of what plagued your past generations.

Let’s take it a little deeper; a generational curse is embedded in the spiritual root of that family. Its power and continued existence will be solely based on the ignorance and failure of that family to recognize that they are actually under a curse. In fact the demonic forces assigned to that family, which are familiar spirits will allow those folks to attend church, conferences, conclaves and follow all the church formalities and traditions but NEVER, EVER allowing them to come into the knowledge of the truth of their situation. Jesus again said the following, “Either make the tree good and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt, FOR THE TREE IS KNOWN BY ITS FRUIT” Matthew 12:33. Simply put the tree represents the family, so if the family is under a curse then everyone that comes from that family is cursed. That family becomes the foundation of whatever is produced from it which is considered its fruit.

Now, let’s dig a little deeper. The genesis of a generational curse begins with what is known as iniquity. Iniquity is defined as continued, unrepeated, unconfessed habitual sin with absolutely no remorse. This is very important to note because scripture clearly tells us that it will be the “INIQUITY” of our forefathers that God will visit upon the children unto the third and fourth generation (sounds like a generational curse to me), Exodus 20:5, Exodus 34:7, Numbers 14:18 and Deut. 5:9. Now based on what we have just read we can conclude that generational curses have very little to do with us but everything to do with what Mama, Papa, Grammy, Grandfather and generations past have done that we are ignorant of (lack of knowledge of the past) that’s fueling our suffering today even though we have accepted Jesus Christ as lord and savior!

To prove this point let’s look at another passage of scripture, “Our fathers have sinned and now they are dead, but we (the current generation) are left to borne their “INIQUITY”, Lamentations 5:7. Again, it is the iniquity of our ancestors, whatever that iniquity maybe that’s securing our oppression or gives birth to our oppression. Think about it for a second, how is it that just about everyone in your family is divorced, depressed, broke, failures at relationships, never able to get ahead, etc? Well, as long as that specific iniquity is not identified and severed, then this now generation will be passing the baton on to the future generation only to repeat the same cycle of defeat and limitations in life. As a result of the spiritual information you have received thus far, now ask yourself the question, “What did my Mom, Dad and by extension my ancestors did in the past that is causing me and my family this consistent hell today?” The second question you must ask yourself is, “How much do I know about my family?” It is such questions that will begin your quest in search of the root of this cycle of repetitious defeat and failure you and your children and by extension family members are experiencing.

Please my friend; begin asking God even now to reveal the mystery behind your misery. Let God know you cannot fight what you are not aware of and that you need understanding and knowledge of the past to bring this non-sense to an abrupt end.

Whomever you maybe that’s reading this article I pray that God will open your eyes spiritually like he did for the servant of Elisha in 2 Kings 6:17 and cause you to see what was always before you spiritually but you were unable to view it physically.

My lack of knowledge is costing me

For the past weeks I have been teaching extensively on generational curses. I must say, I have been extremely disappointed in the amount of leaders that neglect and avoid this topic, that so happens to be the root cause of spiritual bondage for so many. It is this spiritual implementation that you cannot see that is the source of the unexplained chaos that you can see.

My passion has been as a result of the link that I have discovered between current stubborn problems and the very same problems experienced by our ancestors. What I have also discovered is that the information that links the two has been intentionally withheld or hidden in an effort to prevent this vicious cycle from being broken by the current generation and generations to come.

With the above understanding in mind. "My people perishing due to a lack of knowledge" became a scripture of passion and absolute truth for me. It is this lack of information concerning your family or the family of your friend, spouse, or whoever that have you puzzled as to why they behave the way they do or experience such ongoing relentless drama.

A generational curse is like a computer software program implemented into a family that will program just about all members of that family to perform a certain way. For example, I know of men that have extra marital affairs. However my investigation of that family has revealed, his father did it, the grandfather did it and it goes on and on. My third discovery lead me to the understanding that THERE IS ALWAYS A BEGINNING OR A ROOT TO EVERY GENERATIONAL CURSE AND IT IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ROOT LIKE I SAID EARLIER THAT IS KEPT A SECRET INTENTIONALLY. 

Therefore, the power of a generational curse is fueled by the ignorance of that family not knowing that there is a curse. Now, here is where it becomes interesting. If your friend, spouse, significant other or even yourself have hailed from a family plagued with generational curse such as:  mentally challenges, sexual perversion such as incest, pornography etc, adultery, controlling and dominating behaviors etc. Then let me tell you right now, if that person or yourself have not recognized and break these negative cycles, then you are in for a repeat of what your ancestors experienced . Why is this you may ask? Simply because there are familiar spirits assigned to these families to enforce the generational curses that were established years ago that no one in the family has yet to recognize and challenge. Familiar spirits are spirits that are very much familiar with your family history, especially the negative parts of your family history.

 These Familiar spirits have a spiritual legal right to that family due to the iniquity that is embedded into that family bloodline, and as a result they will fight tooth and nail to sustain and maintain that curse. Iniquity, is sin that is repeated with out remorse, confession or repentance.  Now I mentioned that it was the iniquity of the family that not only will sustain the curse but at the same time its existence in that family. The is so because scripture says, it is the iniquity of the fathers (generations pass) that God will visit upon the third and fourth generation, Exodus 20:5 ans Exodus 34:7, sounds like a generational curse to me.

I want to say to someone today, please, do not fool yourself into believing that you can change something that you dislike in your mate, partner or whoever, particularly if you see a pattern of that behavior in their family. More than likely you're dealing with a generational curse that was created many years ago and as a result it has garnered strength throughout the years.

Many folks have ignorantly marry folks that are plagued with a family history of generational curses and as a result of their union they have literally signed on to the negative cycles of defeat, oppression, adultery, deceit etc. The more these curses are either ignored or go unrecognized the stronger the curse becomes, this is why if a family is plagues with a generational curse of Cancer, then each generation will produce an even more aggressive form of Cancer giving the victim an even more shorter lifespan than their ancestors who suffered from the same disease.

Scripture reminds us that we are not fighting or being engaged to battle with flesh and blood (Human beings), instead our adversaries are invisible agents of Satan taking advantage of their victims ignorance in an effort to enforce these curses, Ephesians 6:12. This same passage of scripture reveals Satan's third rank of evil spirits which is known as the power of darkness. The word darkness in this passage of scripture literally means ignorance. So, there are ruling spirits monitoring families all in an effort in KEEPING THE MEMBERS OF THAT FAMILY IGNORANT OF WHAT'S OPPRESSING THEM AND CAUSING THEM NOT TO ADVANCE OR MAKE PROGRESS, OR TO REPEAT THE SAME NEGATIVE CYCLES OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

 I will conclude by suggesting that the day you discover the history of your family it will also be the day you begin the unfolding of the mystery of your family repetitious problems.......BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY TO YOU, THAT SATAN'S GRIP ON THE WORLD IS ADMINISTERED AND MANIFESTED THROUGH GENERATIONAL CURSES................
