Faith is your spiritual currency; begin using it now!

Naturally, it will always seem as if you don't have what you need to get what you want..... However, If you, a Believer of Jesus Christ, could only come to the realization and complete understanding that though your natural resources may be limited, you have an abundance of what you need in the unseen world (the spirit world) just waiting on you to access it.

Faith is the spiritual currency needed to access what you're coming up short in as far as things natural are concerned. In other words, Faith, the word of God, is the substance or material needed to ACCESS AND RETRIEVE FROM THE SPIRIT REALM!!!!!

"Now, Faith (the word of God) is the substance (material) of whatever you are hoping (in expectation) for, and it is this same faith (the word of God) that is the evidence (proof) of what you're expecting but do not tangibly possess as yet" Hebrews 11:1

So, here is how you use the currency or material of Faith to retrieve your resources from the spirit realm:

"Father, I am giving you your word that says, "You will keep me in perfect peace if my mind stays on you: Isaiah 26:3. Therefore, your word, which is Faith, is the SUBSTANCE of the peace I am hoping or in expectation of from you and this same word, which is Faith is the evidence or proof of that peace you have promised in your word that I am not physically in possession of as yet, in the name of your son Jesus.

Faith, my friend, as clearly illustrated, is the concrete belief of what God's word says about your situation and you repeating his word to him regarding your situation. It is most unfortunate that we have been taught to rehearse our problems to God and not his word, again, which is Faith, when he has commanded us to remind him of his word, which again is FAITH!

This is why scripture says, "According to your FAITH be it unto you" Matthew 9:29, "It is impossible to please God without FAITH!" Hebrews 11:6. "For we walk by FAITH and not by sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7. "For the just shall live by FAITH," Hebrews 10:38 and finally, EVERY MAN has been distributed a measure of FAITH!" Romans 12:3.

Now that you understand Faith, stop crying over how broke you are; stop complaining over how depressed and defeated you feel. Instead, grab a copy of your bible and retrieve the necessary scriptures concerning your problem and use those scriptures as spiritual currency in repeating God's word back to him in regards to your situation and watch the God that can not lie and the God whose word can not return unto him void fulfill his word in your circumstances!

NOW FAITH IS!!!!!

Faith is the word of God

The blessings and the favor of God will exceed your greatest expectation if you allow it! Scripture
clearly tells us that it is God's desire to do exceedingly, abundantly and above all that we could ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians. 3:20.

With this empirical biblical evidence that reveals it is always God's desire to exceed whatever it it we are asking him for, according to his will of course. Then why do we make the following prayers:

"Lord I am believing for a down payment on a car"
"Lord I am believing you for a down payment on a home"
"Lord I pray that my kids will get good grades"
"Lord I pray that you change my husband/wife"

Such prayers reveal exactly where you are in your faith. It is almost as if you're not sure if God will grant you your entire request so you ask for just portions of what you really want. I can assure you that if you were an avid reader and listener of the word of God, such prayers would never leave your lips.

If you believe in prayer then you must also believe in the word of God that will answer your prayers and most of all you must believe that God wants to do much more than whatever it is you're requesting of him. If this is the case, then your prayers to God must change. For example, this is how one who is confident in the word of God prayers for the above request:

Father God, I believe your word and I am a believer that your word is faith, because your word says that faith comes by hearing but not just hearing anything but specifically hearing the word of God, Romans 10:17. Therefore, I declare your word back to you which is faith concerning my request to you. You said in your word that you will give me houses I did not built and land that I did not labor for, Deut. 6:11, Joshua 24:13. Therefore, I am not asking you for a down payment for my car or home, instead by faith which is your word; is requesting a debt free home along with a debt free car because your word has made it clear to me that it is your desire to exceed my expectations of you according to Ephesians 3:20.

Father God Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth. Your word declares that it is IMPOSSIBLE to please or satisfy you without faith, Hebrews 11:6. Therefore I am bringing my faith to you which is your word and your word which is my faith says, the seed of the righteous shall be delivered and that the seed of the righteous is blessed, Psalm 112:2, Proverbs 11:21. Again, because I am fully aware that it is always your desire to exceed whatever It is that I request of you according to your will; then I pray your word as it relates to my children and your word says, which again is my faith, "you will increase me more and more me and my children" Psalm 115:14. Therefore, I pray not only for good grades and favor in certain areas of their live. Instead, I pray that they would experience over all blessed lives and that you would deliver them in every area of their lives in the name of your son Jesus Christ.

My friend, hear me loud and clear today. God wants you to remind him of what he's promised you. speak his word in your prayers because his word is your faith and he's made it crystal clear that it is impossible to please, satisfy, gratify, pacify or even make him content outside of faith which is his word. The lord should hear more of his word in  your prayers than whatever your situation maybe because it is ultimately his word that will change your situation. He already knows your situation, now he's expecting the only currency that Heaven accepts and that is the currency of faith, which is his word in exchange for your solution.

Have a blessed day while declaring your faith which is the word of God. My word of faith today is: "He that hath knowledge spares his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit" Proverbs 17:27.

Understanding Faith!

The just shall live by faith, Romans 1:17

The just shall live by faith, Galatians 3:11

The just shall live by faith, Hebrews 10:38

Why would the bible repeat itself in three separate books that the just shall live by faith? Well, clearly it's something important due to its repetition and something that we seriously needs to look into.
Firstly, what is faith? Well,
most folks will repeat Hebrews 11:1 as the answer to that question, "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen". However, this still does not explain what faith is.

Scripture tells us that Faith comes by hearing, but not just hearing anything. In fact it was specific as to what we aught to be listening to in an effort to receive faith and that is listening to or reading the WORD OF GOD! Romans 10:17

With the above understanding in mind we can safely and confidently conclude that FAITH is indeed THE WORD OF GOD! So the "JUST", which are the believers of Jesus Christ are repeatedly being asked in the above scriptures to live by the word of God, which is FAITH!

This is why scripture strongly expresses that it is impossible to please God without faith or his word, Hebrews 11:6.
Let's take this revelation a step further. In regards to Hebrews 11:1, which states that, "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen". Let us substitute the word "faith" with the revelation of faith being "The word of God".

"Now the word of God is the substance or material of things that we are in expectation of and the word of God is also the evidence or proof of that expectation that has not manifested itself as yet!

Friends! Please, you must use your faith or the word of God in your prayers, in fact you must make a conscious effort to live by faith or the word of God, why you may ask?, well because the word of God or faith, is the POWER OF GOD TO THOSE THAT BELIEVE! Romans 1:16. Therefore whatever your request is to God it must be accompanied by FAITH which is the same as his word....... God I need you to heal me, then your faith will be, "Because of his stripes we are healed", Isaiah 53:3 or "He sent out his word and heal them" Psalm 107:20, For they that wait on the lord shall renew their strength" Isaiah 40:31.

Find the scriptures that supports your request from God, for it will be those scriptures that acts as spiritual currency in exchange for your request from God. As a reminder, it is impossible to please God without faith/his word!

According to your faith (the word of God) be it unto you, Matthew 9:29.

Faith is the substance!

The word substance is understood to be the material of which something is made up of or created from. For example, the substance of the clothing that you’re wearing would be its treads. It can also be defined as the center, core, base, foundation or gist of something.

In the world of economics currency or money would be the substance or the bases of how things function. There would be no economy without money. In fact it is the blood that keeps the body of economics going. Another example would be our physical bodies; the substance of our physical bodies would be our blood. Without this blood we cannot live.

At this point you’re probably wondering where am I headed with this elaborate definition of the word substance. Well, based on the above definition let’s look at a frequently quoted scripture but never fully understood. As a matter of fact after discovering the revelation that is embedded in this passage of scripture not only will your prayer change but you will experience quicker results.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1. The revelation of this scripture hinges on two words and they are faith and substance. We’ve already defined the word substance. However, according to scripture in essence it indirectly suggests to us that faith is indeed the word of God according to Romans 10:17. Romans 10:17 says the following, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". So then, if faith comes to us by hearing, but not just hearing anything but he spifically said by hearing the word of God. Then, I think it is safe to say that faith is the word of God. In simple terms when we quote scriptures such as “no weapon for against us shall prosper” or “I am the head and not the tail” this is indeed faith!  So the word of God is faith!

Let’s go back to the scripture and begin replacing the key words such as faith and substance with their definitions. “Now the word of God is the material, core, base or center of the things that we base our expectation upon. This same word of God is now considered the proof or evidence of those same things that we don't see or have in my possession as yet.

When we pray we usually place our focus on our expectation such as our healing, a new car, home etc. Instead, the core or substance of our expectation must be planted in the word of God (faith) for whatever we are hoping for or expecting. So from this day forward when you pray give God his word which is faith, as it relates to your situation. If it’s a healing  you’re believing God for, then the substance of your hope (healing) should be the following scriptures, Lord your word says, “Because of your son Jesus Christ stripes I am heal” Lord your word says, “You have sent your word to heal us”. So as you can see, the word of God (faith) would be considered your currency to God in exchange for whatever you’re expecting from him.

Let’s us confirm the above revelation with two scriptures and they are, firstly, God said to remind him of his word which we now know to be faith not that he forgot his word but the following will make it clear as to why. “Without faith which is the word of God, it is impossible to please God” Hebrews 11:6 Wow! In other words, do not approach God about anything unless you’re coming with his word or faith to accompany your desire. If you decide to continue praying without his word or faith, then you are not pleasing him.

Friends, it gets no clearer than this, I admonish you to study the scriptures and let your prayers be based on the word of God as it relates to your expectation from God. Praying the word will certainly give you quicker results. The key to your success is your confidence in the word of God and not the thing you’re praying for.

Am I being forced to walk by faith?

It seems to be a struggle to live every day, especially with this severe economic crisis looming over our heads.

Yet, I have observed two distinct occurrences that have enlightened my understanding of a greater reality. The first one is; Christians are suffering the same fate as everyone else during this economic downturn, such as home foreclosures, bankruptcy, marital problems due to finances, insufficient or lack of funds and the list goes on.

Christians have practiced tithing, giving, offerings, etc. it would appear as if the biblical principles have either failed them, or it seems as if they're doing something wrong that's causing the principles to be of no effect.

My question to God and to myself, for that matter, was what is happening? Aside from the above, some don't serve God, seemingly practice none of his principles, yet they prosper and live in abundance during this dire economic crisis. Something is fundamentally wrong here, and clearly, there must be an answer.

The Bible commands that we walk by faith and not by sight (2Cor. 5:7), a general command to all Christians. God revealed to me that everyone destined for greatness will have to walk by faith rather than be given the option of leaving the walk of faith to the individual's discretion.

At first, this was confusing because I was told that God does not violate one's freedom of choice. Nonetheless, as he began to show me through the scriptures, the mystery was immediately transformed into a revelation that made me appreciate and accept what others and myself are presently going through, with an understanding that there is purpose fueling all of this without violating anyone's freedom of choice.

Now, to walk by faith literally means to walk in harmony with God's word as it pertains to our circumstances and daily living. For example, when others wrong us, walking by faith dictates that we should deal with them in love, and despite what they have done to us, we should pray for them. Of course, this is more easily said than done. Therefore most Christians compromise in areas such as these because there are no demands on them regarding walking by faith.

On the other hand, the Christian that has been chosen for greatness does not have a choice in the matter. For example, the tithe paying, always giving, putting others above self Christian, has been faced with financial difficulty. However, there is no one to help him, and all the sources of help that were once available to him have either been shut down, or these same sources are in a similar position.

Now, the reality is, does this Christian become confused? Yes! Does this Christian get angry with God? Yes! Does he feel as if this Christian walk produces more problems than solutions? Yes! Does he feel as if everyone is getting ahead except him? Again yes!

However, what sets this Christian apart from the others, is that when (not if) all of the scenarios mentioned above become expired in his mind, this Christian, without delay, categorize them as mere feelings, and he is cognizant of the fact that walking by faith has zero to do with his emotions. To this end, there is no option for him, so he is forced to continue walking by faith and not by sight or what he feels, without his freedom being violated.

Remember, walking by faith and not by sight is to walk according to God's instructions or his word and not how things appear or how we feel. Therefore this Christian who is forced to walk by faith because he is destined for greatness has been apparently equipped with the knowledge to see the bigger picture of his situation, and that knowledge is GOD IS IN CONTROL!

God being in control, as is frequently stated, but very few understand its meaning, implies that he is supervising the good and the bad in our lives. Let's read the biblical proof of this. The book of (Psalms 66:10-12) reads: "For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou have tried us, as silver is tried. Thou brought us into the net; thou laid affliction upon our loins. Thou have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou brought us out into a WEALTHY place."

Wow! What an eye-opener; as you've read, folks, God is the one in control here. No devil, demon, witchcraft worker, etc., is doing this to you, and if they are, they're only tools God uses to perfect you. Scripture says, 'Thou,' meaning God himself is the one testing, proving, and allowing others to ride over you, only to bring you, who is being transformed into the greatness that he has called you to be through these challenges into your wealthy place or place of abundance and limitless resources.

Folks, the words of wisdom for today are simply this: God will not put new wine into old wineskins (Matt. 9:17). This hints that he will not bring you to that prepared, wealthy place without transforming your mind from that old mindset through life's challenges and difficulties, which he is undoubtedly in control of.

The Spiritual Understanding of Faith

The world's system is designed so that nearly everything involves an exchange of money—clothing, homes, and services. Even some places of worship attempt to persuade followers to trade money for salvation, healing, deliverance, or breakthroughs. But is this kind of exchange necessary when it comes to spiritual matters?

Today, I want to talk about faith and why understanding it is essential. Many churchgoers do not truly grasp its significance. Some attend out of tradition, others hope to earn favor with God, and some are simply looking for a change in their circumstances.

Regardless of the reasons a person may have for attending church, it is crucial to comprehend the Biblical rationale not only for attending but also for understanding what God expects from us to please Him during our periods of attendance.

Please pay close attention to what I'm about to say, as it might alter your view of your "faith" or how you apply it. The Bible makes it unequivocally clear: "It is impossible to please God without faith" (Hebrews 11:6). This indicates that anything we ask of God should be accompanied by faith. Additionally, we can infer that faith serves as the spiritual currency in exchange for what we seek from God.

Considering that it is impossible to please God without faith, it is only logical to explore the Bible's definition of the word "faith." Most Christians cite Hebrews 11:1 to define faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” But what does all of that mean? Evidence, substance, hope—are these just cryptic codes or a language only Christians understand? To the average person, faith still remains undefined.

To understand faith, one must first understand what it is not. Faith is not just about believing. When asked to define faith, the average person will say that you must believe in something to have faith. This is partly true. However, faith encompasses more than just belief.

Here is the biblical interpretation of that scripture: It begins with, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for.” The word “Now" suggests immediacy, while “substance" refers to a material or source of something. “Hope” means to expect or desire something. The verse further explains that faith is the evidence of things not seen; evidence means proof that something exists. Essentially, it’s about presenting tangible proof to confirm the existence of what is hoped for.

Hopefully, by now, we can agree that faith is more than just a belief, and at the same time, faith is yet to be defined. So, faith in and of itself is a spiritual concept; therefore, to understand faith, it must be addressed from a spiritual perspective. So, let's revisit the key words in Hebrews 11:1: substance, hope, and evidence. Therefore, if faith initially requires one to believe in the substance of faith, the hope of faith, and the evidence of faith, then what exactly are we believing in as it relates to faith? In other words, what is the substance, hope, and proof of faith?

So, the spiritual understanding of faith is as follows. Firstly, the Bible states in Romans 10:17 that not only does faith come by hearing, but specifically hearing the Word of God. So in short, faith is the Word of God. However, in context, faith is one's complete, unwavering, and unending belief, specifically in the Word of God.

Okay, let’s bring it all together now that we understand that faith is the Word of God. So, Hebrews 11:1 basically says, "Now, the WORD OF GOD is the substance of what I am hoping for, and it's this same WORD OF GOD that will also serve as the evidence of my hope that has not yet materialized. So, in layman's terms, let's say you are standing in faith for a spouse. The conventional understanding of faith typically involves praying and believing that God will eventually manifest the spouse you are believing for, with the emphasis being on the spouse.

Nevertheless, true spiritual faith requires us to focus on the Word of God rather than on the actual spouse or whatever we're believing God for. An example of this is searching the scriptures relevant to our request. In this case, our request is for a spouse. So scriptures such as "It is not good for the man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18), "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband," 1 Corinthians 7:2, "He that finds a wife, finds a good thing" Proverbs 18:22, and "If we delight ourselves in God he will give us the desires of our heart" Psalms 34:4. Well, these scriptures becomes the faith need for the spouse. Based on the protocol of faith as well as its understanding in Hebrews 11:1, the scriptures mentioned above is the SUBSTANCE of what I am hoping for (the spouse). These same scriptures will also serve as evidence (the promises of God for my spouse), of which we patiently wait to be manifested according to God's timing.

Now it is understood why the Bible said it is impossible to please God without faith. Faith is the belief in God's Word—He is the Word—the Word is faith, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, John 1:1. I hope you have been inspired to discontinue in the things you have been praying for and now believing what the Word of God says about what you are believing for. This is known as true faith,

"Jesus said to the man who wanted to be healed from blindness, 'According to your faith, be it unto you.' The Bible says that the just shall live by faith." In both of these scriptures, replace the Word "faith" with "The Word of God." The first scripture states, "According to your belief in the word of God." While the second scripture says, "The just shall live by the word of God."

Starting today, always use God's Word as the foundation of your prayers if you want to see results. I also encourage you to get a copy of my book, "Prayers That Work" by Kevin L A Ewing, which will help you immensely by saturating your prayers with scriptures that will build the faith God requires to settle your matters according to Hebrews 11:6.
