Dream Facts: Why You Must Cancel Bad Dreams

When we dream, our spirits remain active while our physical bodies rest. Dreams are not mere illusions
but meaningful spiritual experiences. The people, places, and things that appear in our dreams often symbolize deeper spiritual meanings.

Having little understanding of one's dreams can put a person at a disadvantage when interacting with the spirit realm. This is because the enemy will attempt to establish evil covenants with the dreamer without their knowledge, through covert actions. Scripture gives us this same pattern in the natural:

"But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." (Matthew 13:25)

The enemy works while the field owner is unaware, just as he works while the dreamer sleeps. Examples of such dreams include getting married, engaging in sexual activity, eating or being fed, interacting with dead people, and signing documents. Signing documents in a dream can be particularly significant if the dreamer is not aware of what they are signing. To be fair, the examples above pertain to bad dreams, commonly known as nightmares.

Two Worlds: Spirit and Natural

To make sense of this, we must understand the basic principles and underlying concepts that govern our existence. Without this understanding, everything would be a jumbled mess. According to Scripture, there are two worlds: the physical world we inhabit and the unseen spirit world. The spirit world initiates the events that present themselves in our material world. The spirit world is the parent world to our material realm.

Why You Must Cancel Bad Dreams

Canceling our bad dreams starts the process of ending what has been conceived in the spirit world against us, so it does not manifest in the dreamer's natural life.

This explains why a person might dream about being fired, never think to cancel and rebuke that dream in the name of Jesus, and then watch it manifest by default, simply because nothing challenged what was conceived spiritually. Scripture tells us that only when we resist the devil will he flee from us:

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)

This is a spiritual law. Satan has room to conceive evil in the dreamer's life when the dreamer isn't challenging him by canceling his devices in the spirit.

A Prayer Template for Your Dreams

Once we understand the basic rules of engagement with our dreams, we can take it to the next level by applying those rules. It will truly amaze the dreamer how the quality of their life changes for the better.

If you are a novice at understanding your dreams, my simple advice is this: always pray upon waking, whether you recall or understand your dream or not. The prayer below is a template for how you should pray concerning your dreams.

Lord, if my dreams were concerning Your plans and purpose for my life, then I come in total agreement with what You desire, so that it can manifest physically in my life. However, if my dreams were not of You, Lord, then I cancel, rebuke, and send Your fire against all evil covenants and devices conceived by the enemy and his agents. I further pray that the spiritual plans of the enemy will never manifest in my life, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Consistent failure and defeat usually result from unchecked dreams. As a reminder:

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)

We Must Recalibrate Our Spiritual lens Of Revelation

Revelation involves revealing, exposing, or uncovering something that is already present! For instance, if you misplace your keys at home and later find them in your bedroom, they didn't suddenly materialize; instead, you revealed them during your thorough search.

 

The scripture says, "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law" (Deut. 29:29). Based on this scripture, some secrets or mysteries are reserved solely for God, such as the origins of God, etc.

 

Nevertheless, this scripture also indicates that God has reserved certain revelations for us and our children. This is where the passage becomes particularly interesting. The scripture clearly states that the purpose of these revelations is to empower us to FULFILL ALL THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LAW!

 

No matter your current circumstances, you might feel stagnant and lack progress. Consider seeking God's guidance to uncover the hidden truth relevant to your situation. This will allow you to apply His specific principles to address your concerns.

 

Father, expose and peel back the curtains, allowing me to see spiritually what I was previously ignorant of physically. Father, just as Elisha prayed for his servant, asking you to open his spiritual eyes, I ask you to open our spiritual eyes and give us the revelation needed to apply your law and release us from the spiritual cages we've found ourselves in.

 

Lord, I echo Elisha's prayer for his servant over my life in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Indeed, I connect my spirit to this prayer and anticipate similar outcomes for my distressing situation in Jesus' name.

 

Elisha prayed earnestly, saying, "LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see." And with a tender response, the LORD opened the young man's eyes, revealing a breathtaking sight: the mountain was filled with horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha" 2 Kings 6:17. It's important to highlight that the chariots of fire were always there; it was just the servant's spiritual eyes that needed to be opened to fully appreciate their presence.

 

God shows no favoritism. If He did it for Elisha's servant, He will undoubtedly do it for you who believe!

Some dreams serve as spiritual indicators. They warn you that trouble is developing and could soon
appear in your natural life. God allows these dreams to give you advance notice, so you have time to pray, seek wisdom, and take appropriate action.

The spiritual world is the parent world of our natural world. Everything that manifests on earth was first conceived in the spiritual world. Many events exist spiritually before they appear physically.

Your dreams sometimes display excerpts of what is pending in the spiritual world. They reveal plans, activities, agreements, dangers, attacks, and changes before those matters become visible in your everyday life.

This explains why you should never dismiss a disturbing dream. A dream involving death, accidents, nakedness, lost property, backward movement, contaminated food, evil altars, monitoring spirits, spiritual spouses, imprisonment, or repeated failure deserves serious attention. These dreams do not always predict a literal event. They often use symbols to reveal the nature of a spiritual threat.

A warning dream is a call to respond. Pray about what you saw. Record every important detail. Ask God for wisdom and understanding. Compare the dream with Scripture. Reject every evil agreement presented in the dream. Address repeated patterns through focused prayer and fasting.

Revelation

Revelation is the uncovering or revealing something that always existed. The mysteries of life are
continually being exposed through spiritual knowledge, notably via our dreams. Those that are depleted, lack or dismiss such knowledge will continue to conclude life as frustrating and confusing.

The purpose of our dreams and vision (if they're from God) is to provide us with the spiritual revelations to the mysteries of our lives. It was a mystery to Abraham in Genesis 15, as to how God would birth a nation through him at the age of 99 mainly when he had no children of his own. This, my friend, is a mystery that only spiritual revelation can provide an answer to.

Amazingly, in Genesis 15:12, scripture clearly tells us that Abraham fell into a deep sleep and it was at this point while Abraham was asleep that God revealed or uncovered the revelation to what was a mystery to Abraham's life which he was to become the genesis of some significant future events. As a reminder, everything that God revealed to Abraham in Genesis 15: 13-21 was during his sleep in a dream. In other words, while Abraham's physical body was asleep and at rest, the real Abraham which is his spirit, was well awake communing with the Spirit of God in Abraham's dream.

Based on the above understanding of our dreams. Why not take a moment right now and ask God to provide the revelation in regards to the mystery of your poverty, failed relationships, anti-progress, ill health, missed opportunities, etc.

Abraham challenged God as a result of the seemingly impossible promises God had made to him. In fact, Abraham said in Genesis 15:8, "Lord God, how shall I know the things you've promise shall come to pass?"

Friends! Here me today, how long will you continue to perish due to a lack of knowledge? Hosea 4:6. "How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning and FOOLS hate KNOWLEDGE?" Proverbs 1:22

"Father God, please in the precious name of your only begotten son Jesus Christ. Reveal to us via your spirit to our spirt the revelations to the frustrating mysteries that seems to encompass our lives. Lord, just like you did for your servant Abraham do likewise for us in our dreams. Father, your word says that you are no respect of persons. Therefore, because you did it for Abraham, I am convinced you will do it for us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Lord, please release to me revelation

Revelation is the act or process of revealing or the unveiling of that which was hidden or to bring understanding to that which is not clear!

You have convinced yourself that it is money that you need, you've convinced yourself that a husband or wife would make life better for you. You've convinced yourself that if you get that promotion, life would be far better than it is right now. However, what you really need is revelation to expose the mysteries that you have convinced yourself that monies,husband/wife, promotions and so on are the solution to. The above will provide a temporary solution but revelation knowledge will most certainly provide a permanent solution.

Lord, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, please reveal to me why it's difficult for me to maintain relationships, reveal to me why I can not get married. Lord reveal to me what is it that I am doing wrong that's maintaining my cycle of poverty. Lord please, reveal to me what is being done against me in my absence and by whom. Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, reveal to me those that I consider friends but in reality they're working against me. Father, expose and make clear with confirmation the spiritual forces working against my destiny and simultaneously reveal the solution for me to rid myself of them. Lord, your word says we have  not because we ask not, therefore I am asking you to open my eyes spiritually so that it can be reveal to me the true nature of my on going matters in the name of Jesus Christ.

Lord, all that has been hidden from me that has been fueling my inability to prosper and advance in life, please bring revelation and exposure and cause me to act upon these revelations to bring change to my frustrating matters. God I am asking you in desperation to reveal who and where they have buried my destiny, so that I can send your fire to up root their devices in Jesus name. Finally father it is my general prayer that you spiritually endow me with uncommon revelation to every mystery in my life and the lives of my love ones in the matchless and mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

Words of wisdom: What do you see?Because It will determine what you do.

If perception ultimately determine our actions, then we must manage or control what we are perceiving in our environments in order to produce the action we desire. Scripture tell us, "As we think in our hearts it is those thoughts that we become" Proverbs 23:7. The outcome of our day is not dependent on people, events or things but on the sole concept as to how we perceive these things that will ultimately determine our response to them.

A Revelation of Faithlessness

A man’s son is possessed with a devil, the man is so frustrated with not being able to bring relief to his son’s condition that he desperately seeks and finds the followers or students of Jesus (Christians).

He now begs the Disciples/Christians to deliver his son from this tormenting Devil. However the Disciple/Christian FAILED!!!!!!!

In his relentless pursuit to bring relief to his son, he now turns to the leader, being Jesus, complaining about the failure of his so called Disciples/Christians to fix what they were being trained to do.

Jesus’ response carried not only the tone of chastisement but embedded in his response was the revelation of why Christians systematically fail at the plots, plans and ploys of their adversary the devil.

Jesus said, “O FAITHLESS and PERVERSE generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me (Matt 17:14-20).

This scenario is displayed just about everyday in the life of the believer; the believer will continue to fail repeatedly until he discovers why he’s failing. To fail at anything, would suggest that something is lacking, that will normally bring about completion or order.

If I were to turn on my car and it fails to start, then something is lacking or out of order, and I must start the process of elimination to discover the point or points of failure, that once corrected will produce success or restore the person or thing to its proper functioning state.

Jesus used two words to identify the points of failure, faithless and perverse. Faithless is defined as: not having faith, faith is the word of God received, believed and acted upon. Perverse is defined as: to willfully determine to go counter or opposite to what is expected or desired or to deliberately turn away from a command, instruction or order.

So in essence this is what the revelation of what Jesus was saying, “You have failed because you lack confidence in God’s word which made you faithless, further more you willfully turned in the opposite direction of faith by desiring to do it your way which eventually produced fear, because the opposite of faith is fear, which made you perverse, which when concluded produced failure or a dysfunction.

Folks lets not make no mistakes here, Jesus is not talking to non believers, Satanist, witchcraft workers or folks who just don’t believe in him. Jesus is talking to you and me the Christians who are suppose to be fortified with the word, who were bought by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, equip and armed with the person of The Holy Spirit and surrounded by an Angelic host whom have been given charge over us.

Interestingly enough, Jesus isn’t just making this stuff up as he goes along. His statement is literally a principle. King Solomon in the book of proverbs 16:25 made it abundantly clear, he said, there is a way that seems right to a man, but at the end of his way he is guaranteed failure.

In conclusion folks, review the things God has asked you to do that you’ve failed at miserably. Now apply the law of faithlessness and being perverse. Ok! You seem to have a hard time with this, so let me help you, God said bless your enemies, but you cursed them, God said pay your tithes, but you didn’t, God said do good to those that hate you, instead you rendered evil for evil, God said that is not the mate I desire for you, but you willfully did the opposite, now you are divorced, God said stop worrying about tomorrow, but deliberately like with everything else you do the opposite of whatever God said, and because his word can not return to him void, and he is watching over his word to perform it……….. Then failure will be your guaranteed end result in your decision to travel in the opposite direction of his word.
