You Are God's Plan for the Poor

Whatever promises God made in His Word concerning addressing the needs of the poor, make no mistake:
His plan to accomplish this will always be through us.

The evidence of that statement is clearly expressed in Philippians 2:13:

"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

This scripture is renewing, in the sense that while we may feel the need to assist someone in a lesser position, the reality, according to Philippians 2:13, is that God ignited our desire to help, because it is His will to assist whomever He is directing us to. God will help that person as promised, but we are His feet and hands on the earth.

Why He Positions the Poor in Your Path

It is never by accident or chance that you're motivated to assist the less fortunate. Believe me when I say this: God is fully aware of the events concerning your life and your future. When He positions someone less fortunate than you in your path, He is inviting you to invest in that person's life, so that He can assist you in your own future troubles:

"Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness." (Psalm 41:1-3)

According to God's plan, the poor unknowingly help us, even as our mission is to help them. This revelation emphasizes the importance of compassion and empathy for our fellow man, and of obeying the still small voice of the Holy Spirit as He continues to inspire us to meet the needs of the less privileged.

Please, don't ever miss another opportunity to help the poor who unknowingly came to help you. We are the hands and feet of God on the earth, sent to manifest His promises among each other.

"For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy." (Psalm 72:12-13)

Transition requires change, facilitated by frustration

I vividly recall years ago. I was at my lowest. Whatever could go wrong in my life was indeed going wrong. It was almost as if my enemies were standing in line, just waiting for their opportunity to take a shot at me.

I was feeling quite frustrated that day. For anyone who hasn't experienced it yet, prolonged frustration can take a toll, leading to intense emotional pain and even bitterness if we don't try to view things from a more positive angle.

The most challenging part of my experience with frustration wasn't that my enemies were relentless in their attacks. Instead, it was my repeated cries to God that seemed to go unheard. I also knew, deep in my heart, that I should have been much further in life than I was at that moment. The best way I can describe it is like being in a prison cell, where all the beautiful things I wanted to do and achieve in life are laid out before me. However, because of visible and invisible restrictions and limitations, I couldn't break free or live the better life I knew was waiting for me.

To make matters worse, my life seems programmed to repeat the same cycle of fruitlessness, not to mention the myriad friends who were quick to give their version of my ongoing saga, despite all that I have mentioned. I was completely unaware that I was in TRANSITION for the better! The reality is that it should not matter whether God responds to our cries or not if our trust is unconditionally embedded in Him. After all, He knows the end of all beginnings, including our transitions.

The word transition is defined as a "change" from one state or place to another. However, during that transition, your life will likely be turned upside down with no sign of human or spiritual help. As I have found, this is because "CHANGE" is the only necessary component of a transition. In other words, no transition can happen without the person undergoing it making a change. This required change is almost always triggered and directed by frustration. It is through frustration that you become so fed up with the same old, fruitless, non-productive routine of people, places, and things that you then, and only then, embrace the change needed to transition to your next, which you probably would have ignored under normal circumstances.

Your life might be feeling a bit turned upside down right now, and that's often a sign that substantial changes are on their way. God has a way of guiding us through transitions, even when it feels challenging. Looking back, I realize that the ways I used to think and act would have held me back today. If I had resisted those changes out of frustration, I might have missed out on growth. So, consider this: your frustrations might actually be gentle nudges from God, softly telling you, "Get ready for a new chapter in your life because I am about to lead you into something better."

"Embrace the change in your transition that will be administered by frustration."

Sowing and Reaping

While it may seem as if absolutely nothing is happening for you, and it appears to be business as usual. Know for sure that the same God who has promised his children that "ALL THINGS" must work for their good is silently working behind the scenes, ensuring that all things will do just that, and that is, work for your good!

While you may not appreciate it now, in short order, you will be thanking God for this commonly used word: "seasons." That's right, those who are opposing you and are continually unfair to you. This is indeed their season, and what they're doing now will determine what happens to them in the future! But make no mistake: as sure as night follows day, your season of restoration and uninterrupted favor is on the horizon, quickly approaching, as long as you continue to do what is right in your current season of what appears to be fruitlessness.

While others may only focus on seasons as a time of flourishing, it is a time of planting what you desire now to ensure the kind of harvest or reaping you want during your future seasons.

In other words, even though this is not your season of plenty, fairness from others, opportunities, etc., this should not discourage you from continuing to plant the seeds of being fair to others, giving, forgiving, helping, etc. Again, what you're planting in your everyday life now will determine the outcome of your destiny later.

So don't act surprised when things begin to fall apart, and all doors are sealed shut in your life with zero evidence of opening in your next season. The truth is, you knew good and well that you made life difficult for others, blocked their opportunities, and sat on their destiny when you were in a position to advance them.

I want to say this to someone today. You may be in a season where you occupy the chair and decide whether a person advances. Know for sure that you are, at the same time, determining your own future by the seeds of hate, unfairness, Victimization, or by promoting fairness, justice, and the well-being of others now.

Every season's primary purpose is to prepare us for the next season. However, we are currently determining what those future seasons will produce based on our performance toward others in the seasons we're in now. Again, God is not mocked; whatever a man does now, be it good or bad, he will reap what he sowed in the future Galatians 6:7. This is not an opinion; THIS IS A LAW!

Knocked Down But Not Knocked Out

THIS DAY, I WILL ARISE

Your adversary does not want to see you rise after a setback. He intends to keep you discouraged, questioning your purpose, and expecting another disappointment. When you return to prayer, apply God’s Word, and resume your responsibilities, you refuse to allow yesterday’s defeat to govern today’s decisions.

Yes, you have experienced a setback. Perhaps you invested time, effort, and resources into something which failed. Perhaps you prayed for a particular outcome, yet your circumstances moved in the opposite direction. The disappointment deserves acknowledgment, but you must examine what you have allowed disappointment to produce in your thinking. Have you stopped trying? Have you abandoned your responsibilities? Have you begun speaking about your future as though nothing will ever improve?

You must stop depending entirely on your own strength. Your determination has limits, and exhaustion will affect your judgment. God has never instructed you to face every challenge without His help. Bring your weakness before Him and begin reminding yourself of His Word.

First John 4:4 declares, “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Psalm 46:1 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

These Scriptures deserve more than an occasional quotation when you feel overwhelmed. Consider what they teach. Your circumstances do not remove God’s presence. Your weakness does not exhaust His strength. Trouble does not prevent you from seeking His help.

When Paul wrote about doing all things through Christ, he described learning to endure both provision and lack. His confidence rested in Christ’s strength throughout changing circumstances. You need this same confidence when progress is slow, resources are limited, and your emotions urge you to abandon your efforts.

Why have you accepted defeat as your permanent condition when God’s Word gives you reasons to continue? Discouragement becomes especially harmful when you allow a temporary experience to shape every expectation. One failed attempt does not prove every future effort will fail. A delay does not excuse neglecting what you already know to do.

Examine your response to the setback. Learn where you need correction, seek counsel where you lack understanding, and take responsibility for the decisions within your control. Depending on God includes obeying His instructions. Prayer does not remove your responsibility to act.

This time, approach your challenges with the Word of God directing your response. Ephesians 6:17 identifies the Word of God as the Spirit's sword. Read the Scriptures, consider their meaning, and apply them to your conduct. When fear urges you to withdraw, ask what obedience requires. When anger urges you to respond recklessly, practice restraint. When discouragement tells you to neglect your responsibilities, complete the next necessary task.

Give attention to your words as well. If you repeatedly declare that nothing will improve, you reinforce the thinking that discourages further effort. Speak honestly about your circumstances while remembering what God has promised. You do not need to deny a problem to express faith. You need to stop treating the problem as more authoritative than God’s instructions.

Your words are not a way to control every outcome. They should express your trust in God and your agreement with His truth. Instead of declaring your situation hopeless, acknowledge your need for wisdom and commit to seeking His guidance. Instead of calling yourself a failure, identify what needs to change and begin making the correction.

Consider Job. After receiving devastating news, he grieved and worshiped God, as Job 1:20 records. His worship did not mean the losses were painless. Throughout his suffering, he expressed sorrow and asked difficult questions. Yet his distress did not erase his relationship with God.

You also have permission to grieve without abandoning your faith. Bring your disappointment before the Lord. Speak honestly in prayer, receive correction where necessary, and continue doing what is right while you await answers.

Let us pray.

Father, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, restore my mind and help me focus on your Word as I face today’s obstacles. Forgive me for the times I have allowed disappointment to govern my decisions. Strengthen me where I am weary, correct me where I am wrong, and give me wisdom where I lack understanding.

Help me see beyond my temporary circumstances without neglecting my present responsibilities. Show me what requires patience and what requires immediate action. Where fear has delayed my obedience, give me courage to proceed. Where my decisions have contributed to my difficulties, help me accept responsibility and make the necessary changes.

Lord, guide my tongue. Teach me to express my pain without continually rehearsing hopelessness. Replace careless complaints with honest prayer, gratitude, and words grounded in Scripture. Help me speak in agreement with your promises while submitting my desires to your will.

Give me the resolve to worship you during hardship, as your servant Job did. When events move in the opposite direction of my desires, keep me faithful. Help me bring my questions to you without withdrawing from prayer or abandoning obedience.

Expose the habits which keep me from completing my responsibilities. Help me distinguish genuine exhaustion from avoiding necessary work. Give me wisdom to rest when needed and discipline to act when required. Teach me to use my time responsibly and finish the work before me.

THIS DAY, I WILL ARISE.

I will return to the responsibilities I have neglected and take the next step in obedience. I will confront procrastination, reject laziness, and challenge negative thinking with the truth of God’s Word. I will receive correction, seek wisdom, and keep trying even when progress requires patience.

I will pursue these changes through the grace, mercy, favor, strength, and Spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My confidence rests in His help as I put His Word into practice.

God's Ordained Positions Is Where You'll Find Your Provisions

Position: a condition concerning place, location, or situation. Particularly relating to favorable or unfavorable circumstances.

Scripture advises us that God knows the end of all things from their beginning, Isaiah 46:10. Scripture further advises us that God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings, Ephesians 1:3. Based on the mentioned Biblical facts of God's awareness of what He already has in place for us, then the set times of the manifestation of our preordained provisions is based on His instructions we follow regarding our current and future positions.

After God instructed Elijah to declare a famine over the land, He also directed Elijah that his next position would include his provision during the famine, as recorded in 2 Kings 17:1-5.

Provision is defined as an arrangement or preparation beforehand for the doing of something, the meeting of needs, the supplying of means, etc.

Today, I would like to share some good news with you. God's favor is upon your life, and as a result, provision has been made for that complex, stubborn, and seemingly impossible situation you find yourself in. However, it is important to follow God's instructions to fully participate in this provision and occupy the position assigned to you.

To refresh your memory, even though God instructed Elijah to declare a famine, it did not excuse him from participating. However, God told Elijah to go to the brook Cherith, where he would find his provisions waiting for him. It's important to note that Elijah could accept or reject these crucial instructions. Before we move forward, please say to God, "Lord, please provide me with detailed instructions to my assigned positions where my provisions await me, in the mighty name of Jesus!"

"And it shall be, that thou shall drink of the brook; and I (God) have COMMANDED the Ravens to feed thee THERE!, 2 Kings 17:4.

My friend, hear me as I speak to your spirit this morning, GOD ALMIGHTY HAS ALREADY MADE PROVISION FOR YOUR PRESENT CONDITION, BUT IT'S LOCATED AT YOUR FUTURE POSITION!

"Your priority now should be seeking God's instruction for your next position. Ask Him to guide you towards the right place, location, people, or environment to proceed to. Many of you may struggle unnecessarily because you are in the wrong position waiting on God's provisions."

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In ALL thy ways, ACKNOWLEDGE him; as a result, He SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS! Proverbs 3:5-6.

YOUR DIVINE POSITION IS INCLUSIVE OF YOUR PROVISION THAT WAS MADE IN ADVANCE OF YOUR PRESENT DISLIKE CONDITION...................

Living in the spirit will require walking by faith

The Believers in Jesus Christ who live by sight, meaning they're limited to interpreting their five senses as they relate to our natural world, will be permanently restricted, if not stagnated, in their spiritual walk.

As Believers in Jesus Christ, we are commanded to walk by faith and NOT by sight. In other words, as members of the body of Christ, we directly violate this spiritual law stated in 2 Corinthians 5:7 when we judge or even assess matters from a superficial or physical perspective.

As a body of Believers, our acceptance of Jesus Christ and his work on the cross must transition us from mere natural men and women (limited by our five senses) to receiving the Spirit of God, whose purpose is to elevate us to greater spiritual understanding and limitless spiritual experiences.

Therefore, if the Believer does not see him or herself as a new spiritual creation with the Spirit of God dwelling within them, then more than likely, they will automatically revert to their usual natural way of living, of course, which is limited to their five senses, which are governed by fear.

Walking by faith means walking or behaving according to the Holy Bible's laws, principles, rules, and protocols! In doing so, you are positioning yourself to live, walk, and even behave in a manner that must exceed your natural human limitations. Moreover, you are also in a better position to receive the things of the spirit. According to scripture, the natural man, in his attempt to obtain the things of the spirit, will always conclude the things of the spirit as foolishness simply because such things are spiritually discerned. On the other hand, the believers in Jesus Christ, who have been spiritually regenerated, will always see things from their origin no matter how they are presented. The source of all things is spiritually rooted, and comparing spiritual things with something of a spiritual nature will always unveil the mysteries of our natural problems.

Thus, the following scripture: "13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he is judged of no man. 1 Corinthians 2:13-15

Live according to the Scriptures if you intend to live beyond your limited and restricted human limitations.

Someone's being setup for the good that's coming their way!

  In order to understand what will be good for you in the future or to possess the ability to even recognize good when it comes, you MUST go through a period of just the opposite of what you're anticipating in terms of things that are good.

As human being our ability to determine what is good will, always rest in the understanding of comparing whatever it is that we're labeling as good to what is bad. For example if you were to say to me that you have a good man in your life, then based on the laws of life this automatically suggest to me that you've had a bad man before.

I want to point out to someone this morning that the bad that's happening or going on in your life right now if viewed from a positive perspective, it is a gentle head's up to you, that not only will you experience good in the future but what you're going through currently is necessary for you to understand, recognize and decipher what that good is when it comes!

The reality is your situation can not go on forever. In fact the laws of life will not allow it to, because like the law of temporary dictates, there is a "TIME AND SEASON" for "EVERYTHING", Eccl. 3:1.

Therefore, because every situation, feeling, event, matter etc. is temporary we can fairly conclude that its purpose is conditioning us for something else. Those that find themselves repeating temporary matters is a clear sign that they're spending time murmuring and complaining instead of learning to move on to their NEXT!

My words of wisdom for this wonderful spirit filled morning is simply this, those that murmur and complain will always make what was supposed to be a temporary situation feel like FOREVER!

Mountains are Moving, Walls are Falling

Mountains are moving, and walls are falling in the realm of the spirit. The Lord and God of all hope is making clear your spiritual path for the manifestation of your much-awaited release and victory in the natural.

School fees will be met! Lending institution loans will be satisfied! Families will be brought back together! Items that were lost or stolen will be restored or replaced! Resources will not only be restored but also maintained because of what is going on spiritually. "Thou shall arise and have mercy upon Zion (God's people): for the time to FAVOR her, yea the SET TIME is come" Psalm 102:13.

Gideon was sore afraid because he knew it was not humanly possible to defeat the Midianites, the Amalekites, and the heathen armies of the east that had joined forces against Israel with his 300 men. God insisted that he go to war with them. Gideon was unaware of the simple fact that the spiritual components and agents in this war had already been addressed spiritually. Thus, God made the following statement to Gideon before engaging in the PHYSICAL battle between Gideon's army and the armies of his enemies.

God made it clear to Gideon, "Arise and go down to the Enemy's camp; for I have DELIVERED them into your hands, Judges 7:9. The word delivered speaks to or suggests something or an event that has already happened. With that said. Then how was it possible for God to tell Gideon that he'd already delivered Gideon's enemies into his hands (won the war) when the reality is Mr. Gideon and his 300 men had yet to launch an attack against his enemies?

Well, this is just another clear biblical example of the spiritual law in Ephesians 6:12: our real battles and issues must be addressed from the spirit realm, rather than making the flesh and blood (human beings) the center of our fight. In other words, the spiritual battle between Gideon's army and his enemies had already been won in the spiritual realm, even though they had yet to physically engage in war. Nevertheless, the results of what God did in the unseen (spirit) world automatically secured Gideon's victory in the physical realm (our natural world).

I am saying to someone this morning who has spiritual ears to hear and spiritual eyes to see beyond their overwhelming, misleading circumstances: God has removed the spiritual stumbling blocks, walls, mountains, and all spiritual impediments to secure you nonstop victories in the natural!

As a reminder, absolutely nothing happens physically unless it was conceived or manufactured spiritually first! The mystery behind your repeatedly going around the same issue was due to spiritual blockages you were unaware of that prevented physical manifestation!

I encourage you to agree with what God has already done. In other words, stop repeating your prayers. Instead, begin thanking God, who has removed the spiritual impediments for answering your prayers in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ!

Father, I thank you that the mortgage is paid, the school fees are paid, and the resources are endlessly flowing in like never before. Thank you, Lord, that relationships have been restored and all losses and missed opportunities have been reinstated, ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU'VE DONE IN THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT JUST FOR ME, IN THE MIGHTY AND MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!

Persistence Is Key

The critical factor that sets winners apart from losers is Persistence. Persistence, derived from the word "persist," means to endure and continue in the face of opposition, obstacles, or discouragement.

Some agents of Satan have been well-trained to persistently attack believers of Jesus Christ. They are skilled in using distraction, fear, and worry tactics to keep believers away from God's Word or anything related to God. Again, the main component of their strategy is Persistence.

The average Christian has yet to understand the importance of being constant, relentless, and Persistent in prayer, speaking the Word of God, declaring it, believing it, and never ever taking their focus off the spiritual war they are constantly involved in.

Can you imagine being a part of a church where the Pastor holds regular meetings, not to bamboozle you out of your money? Instead, places emphasis on being persistent in encouraging one another, expressing the Christ kind of love to each other, etc.

Can you envision a Pastor assembling a team of mighty prayer warriors to embark on a three-day fast to combat terminal illnesses? During the fast, one group member continuously recites scriptures concerning healing and restoration. Can you imagine the impact and outcomes this could yield?

Look! How long will you accept defeat and non-success as your portion in life? How long will you sit in that building Sunday after Sunday where no one is healed or delivered, and no one seems to be able to get their life together? How long will you sit and hear the same old, such as "God is getting ready to do so and so" or "There is a shift in the atmosphere." Still, there are no scriptures or spiritual strategies to accommodate what God is about to do or what you do to accommodate what God desires.

Oh, I apologize for almost forgetting the spiritual expressions they use to describe their spiritual approach, such as "Nothing leaves God's hands until something leaves your hand" or "The seed that leaves your hand never leaves your life."

Understanding the significance of maintaining consistency and Persistence in our prayers is crucial. It is not just any prayer that matters but incorporates the relevant scriptures that align with our beliefs about what we ask God for. As the Bible states, we are called to remind God of His promises. Unfortunately, we often lose the battle against evil forces due to our lack of endurance. Satan and his followers know this and take advantage of it.

I'm unsure whose spirit I'm addressing, but you must surround yourself with people in a church who prioritize God and His Word. Look for a church that will guide you in finding victory through the Word rather than material possessions. It doesn't matter how long your family has been committed to a particular church. Break tradition and ask God to lead you to a place where His spirit is present.

I implore you not to fall into the same trap as others who believed the Preacher's proclamation, "God is getting ready to do something," but he never gets around to doing it. The freedom God has already granted us is waiting for us to take hold of it. All we need to do is break tradition and adopt the proper protocols to attain the fulfilled life God has in store.

YOU HAVE CIRCLED THIS MOUNTAIN LONG ENOUGH; IT'S TIME TO BREAK TRADITION AND BEGIN O PARTICIPATE IN TRUE FREEDOM!

What's preventing you from achieving the next level

In spite of the infinite power of God, he is still a God that respects covenants. Many of us are not at the place God had intended for us to be at this point in our lives simply because some known or unknown evil covenant, vow, pledge or allegiance is in place that's preventing the next elevation in our lives.

In Judges 6, the nation of Israel were in a state of backwardness and confusion and could not understand why they could not advance in their own land. They were lost as to why God would allowed their enemies to rule over them. One would think that if God is all powerful, then why didn't he act on his people's behalf.

Maybe you're asking the same questions right now, when and why haven't God made his move on your behalf as yet. Well, in this same Judges 6 it is revealed that Gideon was advised to visit his Father's house. It was at that time, that it was discovered that Gideon's father had an altar worshiping and making sacrifices and covenants to demonic gods. This act which constituted evil covenants became the reason for the spiritual barriers that prevented the entire nation of Israel from being at where they should have been at that point in their lives....... Mighty God! Who are you messing around with, that because of what they're involved with and your connection with them it's preventing you from going forward?

Just like in the case of Israel, who could it be in your family, your life or your environment that is engage in things specifically witchcraft and the like that has caused spiritual barriers in your life thus, the anti-progress and the inability for you to be at where you should have been at this stage of your life.

Heavenly father, enough is enough! Lord we ask you to uproot and expose the evil seeds of our environment, associations, our ancestors and even our living generations that have defiled your commandments, especially that of Idolatry that your word clearly reveals is responsible for generational curses. Lord, this day we ask forgiveness for the violation of your laws and believe that the curses in particular GENERATIONAL CURSES are broken in this day in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

This is happening for your GOOD!

Stop worrying! God has put people and things in place prior to you even knowing that you would
have encountered this situation.

The word of the Lord to someone today that is overly concerned about a situation, to the point where your concern is suppressing your faith; please remember and place your confidence in the word of the living God!

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" 1 Thessalonians 5:18. What seem to be a setback is literally working in your favor. In fact you can not achieve what it is that you desire without this specific ingredient (setback).

As a reminder, Joseph could not achieve the promotion of being second in  charge of Egypt if his brothers were not jealous of him and sold him into slavery. Jesus could not experience the cross outside of Judas' betrayal. Abraham, could not be known today as the Father of faith, had he not leave his comfort zone and go to a place that he didn't even know existed.
