Effective Prayers.

Our prayer's quality depends on how much of God’s word is inclusive in our prayer. We are commanded to always pray, Luke 18:1. Why! Because spiritual battles are consistent and never-ending, we believe that if things are good, the invisible war (spiritual war) is done. No, my friend, this thinking can be deadly and, at best misleading.

Our weapons become even more powerful when we pray the scriptures. Scripture says, "The word of God is quicker, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing and dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" Heb. 4:12.  Now you tell me what earthly weapon can do such a thing?

Usually, when I pray, I imagine while I am praying the word as a sword being wield and inflicting damage in the world that we cannot see but very much exist. No wonder why God said to remind him of his word. Not that he had forgotten his word, but that we must use it to cause more damage in the spirit world. So even though we’re praying words, those words become weapons.

Let us look at another scripture, James 5:13-15. Isn’t it interesting when James said that if any of you are afflicted, let him pray James 5:13? However, in James 5:15, he not only speaks of prayer but the prayer of FAITH!

As a reminder, God said that it is impossible to please him without faith, Hebrews 11:6, so clearly faith is necessary as it relates to our prayers, but what is faith? Well, guess what? Faith is God’s word. Scripture tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, Romans 10:17. So if faith comes by hearing and what one is hearing must be the word of God, then it is clear that faith is the word of God.

I beg you on this beautiful morning, read the scriptures frequently so that you would have no problem retrieving the word when it is time to pray. I have found it to be most effective. In praying the word, you are literally coming in agreement with God's word, and according to scripture (Hebrews. 11:6), this is what pleases him.

Words of wisdom: What do you see?Because It will determine what you do.

If perception ultimately determine our actions, then we must manage or control what we are perceiving in our environments in order to produce the action we desire. Scripture tell us, "As we think in our hearts it is those thoughts that we become" Proverbs 23:7. The outcome of our day is not dependent on people, events or things but on the sole concept as to how we perceive these things that will ultimately determine our response to them.

We Are Not Grasshopper In Their Sight!

am a firm believer that our perception of anything will determine our actions towards it. Perception in its condensed form is the mental images, ideas, and thoughts that we produce when calculating or forming an opinion, judgment, or conclusion about someone or something.

Unfortunately, our perceptions are seldom based on facts but, for the most part, whatever we perceive. Our positive and negative actions will always be rooted in our perception of what we respond to.

Scripture records that ten of the twelve spies that went to spy out the land of Canaan reported to the children of Israel upon their return, saying, "We were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight," Numbers13:33.

This is a powerful scripture because its essence suggests that how we perceive ourselves is how we assume others view us. Also, we behave according to how we see ourselves in the sight of others.   Amazingly, others will treat us according to our perception of ourselves that is evident in our behavior.

There is someone on your job, in your family, in your network of friends whom you believe is more competent than you, more confident than you, or friendlier. Wait a minute, these are your thoughts, ideas, and images that you've manufactured, of yourself and by extension, you're behaving according to what you are thinking. (so a man thinks so is he Prov. 23:7) and now you are subliminally placing a demand on them to treat you according to your behavior, which all began based on your own conjured mental images and thoughts.

My words of wisdom to you on this beautiful morning are to believe the report of the Lord. That report states that he has made you a little lower than the Angels but has crowned you with glory and honor and has made you have dominion over the works of his hands, and has placed all things under your feet, Psalm 8:5-6.

Now, proceed to the nearest mirror you can find, take another look at yourself, and begin to form images of a confident, beautiful, intelligent, kind, and awesome person in your mind. Secondly, grab hold of your bible and seek every scripture that speaks to your person, such as you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. Meditate on what God has said about you repeat into your understanding until you literally see the images of a new person in your mind. Scripture reminds us that if we meditate upon the word day and night, we shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. Make no mistake, your life is the sum total of how you view yourself.

Heavenly Father, I appreciate that there is no other God besides you. This morning, I pray that you inspire your people to put aside the condescending mindset of themselves. Father, purpose in the hearts of those reading this article. To think of themselves according to what you've said in your word of them, in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

There is a fight in the spirit realm attempting to prevent or delay your breakthrough!

Time is advancing many of you to the greatest breakthrough of your life. The intense opposition against you even as you’re reading this is evidence of that.

Have you noticed that things that seem so simple for others, turns out to be most difficult or prolonged for you? Does it seem as if everyone else is getting ahead or being promoted except you? Are you frustrated and confused, because folks who wants nothing to do with God, don't pay tithes, work overtime for the devil, seem to be the ones being blessed?
Well my friends this is the reality of Christianity, IT ALWAYS SEEMINGLY GETS WORST BEFORE CHANGE SHOWS UP. As a matter of fact do you recall Daniel’s record of how The Angel that God had sent to him, with the answers to Daniel’s prayers was hindered due to the prince of Persia (A high ranking demonic spirit) resisting him, Daniel 10:11-13?

The Angel said that Daniel’s prayers were heard from day one, which was 21 days prior to the Angel showing up but the prince of persia (Demonic high ranking spirit) that ruled over the physical kingdom of Persia kept the Angel held up in the spirit realm along with Daniel’s breakthrough, but Michael one of the chief prince (a more powerful Angel of God) challenged the prince of Persia so that the Angel could bring change for Daniel. Who or whatever is oppressing you right now are only agents of a higher order, BUT THAT IS ABOUT TO COME TO AN END BECAUSE YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IS DUE FOR RELEASE!!!!!

What I found to be even more interesting in Daniel 10:20, the Angel Said to Daniel when it was time for him to leave he said, “Now I will return to FIGHT with the prince of Persia” However when he leaves the prince of Grecia (a prince is the highest order of Satan’s kingdom) shall come. Daniel’s prayer to God was so powerful that Satan had to send reinforcement after the angel. So what does this mean? EXPECT HATERS WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR BREAKTHROUGH THIS IS A PART OF THE DEAL. HOWEVER THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THEY CAN DO, BECAUSE IT’S A DONE DEAL!!!!!!!!!

So as you can see, all hell is breaking loose around you because there is a spiritual battle between Angels and demons of the highest order IN THE SPIRIT REALM, with the demons attempting to prevent what God has already decided, and just like in Daniel’s case THEY WILL FAIL!

However no devil in hell can stop what God has already assigned for you, in fact like I said in my opening statement TIME IS ADVANCING YOU TO IT, THE DEVIL KNOWS THIS AND THIS IS WHY THE FIGHT HAS BECOME SO VICIOUS.

PLEASE I BEG YOU, I KNOW IT HAS BEEN HARD, TOUGH, EMBARRASSING, but again these are only the red flags or signs that your time of breakthrough is drawing close.

Heavenly father I pray for all that will read this re-assurance from you, I do not pray for a breakthrough for them because I am certain time is advancing them to it. What I do pray for is patience and endurance on their part. I now come in agreement with your word for them, and your word says that they ought to not grow weary in well doing for they SHALL reap if they faint not. I ask these things in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

Only God Knows Our Path

Every matter has a particular path as a means for the believer to escape and obtain a God-ordained outcome.

A path is defined as a way people or animals walk, but more importantly, expressed as a course of action. This definition is crucial because it is about to be made clear to us to acknowledge discovering our path. In Proverbs 3:6, it reads, “IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM (GOD), AND HE SHALL DIRECT OUR PATH.” Even though we repeatedly quote this scripture, I doubt strongly many of us grab hold of its revelatory understanding.

The truth is, to discover our way out of those seemingly hopeless, dark, and weary situations, the key is we must acknowledge God in whatever it may be that have us imprisoned. This is key as it relates to our way out.

The term acknowledge, which was mentioned above, means noticing, recognizing, or being aware of something. Hence, We are required to verify or be mindful of God as a prerequisite to discovering our assigned path in life. Isn't it amazing when we receive bad news how we slip into depression or confusion and immediately forgetting about God, who is the beginning and end of all things? I found this scripture's revelation obvious when carefully meditating on it but easily missed when just quoting it. People of God, God, want to lead and guide you out of that frustrating situation that has plagued you for years.

However, you have yet to complete the prerequisite, and that is, recognizing him as God and Lord of your situation despite its apparent hopelessness. In remembering him as God in our circumstances, two things will occur. 1) your spiritual eyes are open, and 2) We become enlightened with necessary wisdom that automatically accompanies our spiritual sight. Interestingly enough, the opening of your spiritual eyesight is basically a realignment to highlight the path that was carved out for us before the foundation of the world, Eph. 1:3-4.

Folks, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of soliciting God's directions in EVERY area of our lives. God declares, “I will go before thee and make the crooked places straight. I will break in pieces the gates of brass and cut the gates of brass asunder, AND I WILL GIVE THEE THE TREASURES OF DARKNESS, AND HIDDEN RICHES OF SECRET PLACES”, Isa. 45:2-3.

Folks, yes, you are in a dark place right now, but it is only as dark based on your absence of not acknowledging God in your situation. Please, begin to recognize God in all of your matter so that he can reveal the treasures of your dark conditions and unveil the hidden riches of secret places to give you victory.

Heavenly Father, I am thankful that you have etched out our paths before the foundation of the world. Thank you, Father, that you created our end from our beginning. Therefore you are fully aware of every path that leads to victory and freedom for us. Help us acknowledge you in all our way to direct us to that pre-ordained path that only you know of. We ask these things in the matchless name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

What determines death?

About a week ago I was at a friend’s funeral. While sitting on the outside of the church, because it was overwhelming packed on the inside, I began to toss around the idea in my head as to what qualifies who will be next in regard to their appointed time with death.

I was compel to take on this line of thought because my friend was relatively young, and just like you, we all wonder how is it that the guy up the street who has been an alcoholic or drug addict for years, however he lives to be 60, 70 or probably 80 years old. On the other hand a young child 7 years old is shot to death or knock down by a vehicle and instantly dies. You have to wonder how is it that the 80 year old drunkard, who would have seemingly wasted his life gets to live a long  life, but the 7 year old who’s just starting life, their life is cut short in such a short space of time.

During my earlier years, I was led to believe that if one does not live to see three score and ten (70 years), then somehow they have been cheated as it relates to their life. Also some would say that sin was the result of that person’s short time here on earth (be it sins of the parents being passed on to them or their own sins), for not reaching the seventy year mark according to (Psalm 90:10).

As you would imagine I became curious as to what exactly determines our appointed time as it relates to death. Was it sin, Was it being connected to the wrong people, health issues or could it be we just randomly die?

Well the bible pointed out to us well in advance that the wages or payment of sin is death, so this clearly indicates that we will all eventually die. Well, seeing that the qualifier for death is sin, then could it be that the one which commits the most sin becomes the next candidate for death? As you would probably imagine I passionately disagree with that thought, simply because how much sin could a child commit at the age of seven that would out number the sins of an eighty year old, who’s demise preceded the demise of the eighty year old?

So, the grand question is what qualifies or determines who will be next for death? Well the answer to this perplexing and elusive question is quite simple, and that answer is, purpose! Yes you’ve read correctly, purpose is what determines one’s demise and not the totality of sin or any other reason. Firstly, purpose is the original intent of a person, place or thing; the truth is, it is the real reason why a person exists. As a matter of fact I would venture to say purpose guarantees an individual life for a determine period of time. Another way we can look at purpose; purpose is the batteries that causes us to exist in this life and when these batteries or should I say purpose has died then so do we.

Now, how does death factor in with all of this? Well a person’s death is based on one of two things, and they are; either they’ve completed their purpose or time has ran out on their purpose. Of course every one of us has a specific period of time to accomplish our purpose. There is no negotiating as it relates to that set time. King Solomon verified this very important point when he said, “To everything there is a season and time to every PURPOSE under the sun, Ecclesiastes 3:1. Therefore the age at which one dies is irrelevant when compared to whether they’ve completed their purpose or time ran out on their purpose.

We automatically assume that we should have long life, we automatically assume that as parents our children should bury us, we automatically assume that folks like Martin Luther King, our favorite preachers, our favorite singers and folks that have made an enormous impact in this world should be around for a long time. However, purpose is what determines their tenure here on earth, and incorporated into purpose is an assigned time to fulfill that particular purpose.

The interesting thing about purpose is even if we’re not fulfilling or being hindered in completing our purpose, time is still ticking away at our assigned time to complete that purpose, so what does this mean? This indicates that our PURPOSE is what really matters (what is the reason God has allowed us to exist in this world). This is very important to note because the greatest hindrance to one’s purpose are:   Hate, rage, unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, confusion, frustration, fatigue, depression, loneliness, selfishness, being vindictive and the like. These things are eating away at our time and distracting us from what really matters and what really matters is our PURPOSE!

Many folks have left this planet, without doing or completing what they were sent here to do all because they became consumed by placing all their efforts on hating others, seeking revenge, being bitter, refusing to forgive and most of all planning the demise of others, not knowing that their demise may advance that of the one that they are plotting against. As a reminder while you are focusing on these things that are insignificant time is ticking away at your purpose.

Purpose cannot be accomplished or fulfill in isolation. This is so because nothing in God's creation was made or designed to operate independent of itself. Meaning no one that has, presently is or will be a part of your life was by chance, luck or accident. Their job for the most part unknowing to them was to make a deposit or a withdrawal in your life be it good or bad all in an effort to assist you in accomplishing your purpose. The catch is you must know when they have exhausted their time in your life and you must be strong and wise enough to except however that separation presents itself. I understand quite well that you cannot make others forgive you; neither can you force them to love you. Therefore, because your purpose is what matters, you must see how they factor in as it relates to your purpose and if they don't or have exhausted their time, then the choice is clear and that is, IT IS TIME TO GO FORWARD WITHOUT THEM!

My words of wisdom are quite simple this morning, and they are life is short, focus on what really matters and that is your purpose, because it is your purpose that determines how long you’ll be here, and it is also your purpose that God will judge you on. As a reference point Jesus die when he was thirty three years old he didn’t live to see seventy, right!, why? Because his purpose was completed, so please seek and complete your purpose, but for the sake of your eternal soul DO NOT LET TIME RUN OUT ON YOUR PURPOSE.

Heavenly Father your word says, the heart of the king is in your hand and you turn that heart however you desire. It is my prayer that you turn the hearts of your people towards the purpose of their existence and that they would place emphasis on completing their purpose before it’s too late, I humbly ask this request of you in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

Seasons

EVERY season in a person's life is filled with good and bad, this should be of no surprise to the one experiencing their season, simply because they were the one's responsible for planting the seeds via words and action that has produced whatever it is that they are currently experiencing as a season.

The word season comes from the Latin word 'satio' which literally means 'a time to sow'.
This is important to note because most believers are of the view that 'their season' is a time to receive only things that are good.
However, based on the understanding of the etymology of the word season, which literally means a time to sow, this suggests that whatever season we're in it is a direct result of the seeds (words and actions) that we've planted or sown in our previous seasons.

Therefore, to guarantee ourselves seasons of good or plenty or whatever season we desire, it is a must that we begin sowing or planting in our present seasons, what we desire to see in our future seasons. it is important to note that no season is by chance, accident or luck, but by carefully planted seeds knowingly or unknowingly in our past seasons that has brought fort the harvest that we see today. King Solomon said, "To everything there is a time and season (a time to sow) to every purpose under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Basically Solomon is saying that everything that exist, there was a period in time the seed/s of it were planted to bring about its existence to fulfill it purpose for its existence for that particular season. In verse two of this same scripture, King Solomon made a profound statement as it relates to seasons when he said, "There is a time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which was planted. Bottom line, life gives purpose and death brings and end to that purpose. This process is considered the cycle of all seasons.

Again, your words and actions of hate will no doubt produce a season of hate. Your words and action of love will no doubt produce a season of love. For every season that you find yourself in, sow the opposite of what you dislike in that particular season, so that you can look forward with confidence to a season that you desire! So the bottom line here folks is simply this, the word "season" is just a condensed form of the process of sowing and reaping. Your seasons are guaranteed based on what you sow today; therefore consider greatly the motive behind whatever it is that you are sowing, because your next season will see to it that it comes to fruition.
