You Are an Investment

Someone is waiting for you to get it together so they can be delivered and set free from whatever has imprisoned them.

We are God's investment, and every investment aims to produce more than was initially invested. God has invested gifts and talents into your life, mainly so that you can be a solution to someone else's problem. By not bringing a return on God's investment, you are violating the purpose of existence and hindering the progress of others simply because you carry the solution to their problem.

Yes! Your gifts and talents have enabled you to provide for the world's needs. Just imagine the possibility that people may leave this earth without a relationship with God or fulfilling their potential because you refuse to get your act together so that God could use you to provide solutions to their issues and they would become who they were called to be. Have you realized that you're part of a bigger picture, and it's not all about you?

So just remember the next time you decide to throw a pity party, drown yourself in depression or murmur, and complain when it's time to help someone. At that time, you are causing a break in the network of God's purpose for you and others. The reality is that you are, in fact, hindering someone's progress and or solution. As a reminder, folks, God isn't so much concerned about the sin in your life as opposed to your life's purpose; he has made provision for your sin according to 1 John 1:9.

In the scripture reference I provided below, you'll discover that the man with the one talent did not lie, commit adultery, fornicate, or covet. Instead, he did something worse: he did not bring a return on his master's investment. Your purpose, which includes your gifts and talents, is God's investment in you, and He expects a return on His investment! (Matthew 25:14-29).

Dreams and their understandings Part 8

Sexual dreams part 2

Continuing from yesterday's teaching on sexual dreams, you would recall me mentioning how sexual dreams are some of the most deceptive and manipulative dreams. I also said how the core of a sexual dream denotes agreement/covenant.

In part two of today's teaching on sexual dreams, we'll focus on how sexual dreams are also indicators of curses. Now before we get into this particular aspect of dream teaching, let us get a clear-cut understanding of what exactly is a curse.

Let me explain further. When the word "curse" is used, most folks immediately think of lousy luck, misfortune, everything that seems to be going wrong, etc. However, these unfavorable circumstances or incidents that are taking place in these folks' lives are really just the end result of a curse. To understand a curse, one must first understand a blessing, which is the opposite. Genesis 1:28 says the following, "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

If we were to analyze the above scripture carefully, we would understand that before God blessing Adam and Eve, they could not be fruitful, multiply, replenish and subdue. However, their ability to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue was due to this blessing God bestowed upon them. Therefore a blessing is 1) not tangible, meaning we can not see it or touch it, and 2) a blessing causes one to do what they could not do or achieve under normal circumstances. Therefore, a spiritual blessing bestowed upon someone by God will enable that person to physically achieve what they were not capable of achieving before.

On the other hand, a curse is just the opposite of a blessing, just like how a spiritual blessing enables one to manifest success, promotion, favor, etc. A curse is also spiritual in its nature. Still, unlike the blessing, its purpose is to disable and bind the spirit of its victim, which will result in or manifest failure, difficulties, a difficult life, divorce, unemployment, mental challenges, etc.

In Genesis 49:1-4, the bible tells us that when Jacob was about to die, he gathered his sons together to tell them what would become of them in their later days. He said to his firstborn Ruben, "Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the first sign of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power." Amazingly, even though Jacob had spoken of this great honor of his firstborn Ruben. The following verse would describe a complete opposite, "Unstable as water, you shall not have preeminence, because you went up to your father's bed; then you defiled it—he went up to my couch!"

In the story concerning Jacob and his son Ruben, you have read that Ruben, who had sexual relations with his Father's wife, invoked a curse on his life. Ruben's life would be filled with misfortune and hardship, but why? All because he had sex with one of his Father's wives (Genesis 35:22).

In relationship to our dreams, what happened between Jacob and Ruben is what happens spiritually in terms of a sexual dream indicating curses in the dreamer's life or the life of others. Therefore these types of sexual dreams that we are about to discuss next will all indicate that you are either actively under a curse or there is a curse pending.

"Cursed be he that lies with his Father's wife; because he uncovers his Father's bed. And all the people shall say, Amen" Deuteronomy 27:20. In the natural, this is what brought a curse upon Ruben. Therefore if you dream you were having sex with your Father's past or present wife or someone else sleeping with their Father's wife, the dream indicates a curse on you or the other person's life. It could also suggest someone has sent a curse at you. For example, you're in a particular person's house where this activity is taking place. It could indicate that either that specific person or someone with a similar personality is cursing at you.

Again, as I have mentioned so many times throughout these teachings, dreams are mysteries, and revelation must be the prerequisite to unlock any mystery. So I am providing the revelation via scripture to open what you once called a crazy, stupid dream. The following dreams will indicate curses:

Sex with animals: "Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal." Deuteronomy 27:21. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

Sex with sister or Father or Mother's daughter: "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!" Deuteronomy 27:22.

Sex with Mother In-law: "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!" Deuteronomy 27:23.

Now here is something noteworthy, let's say you had a dream, and in this dream, you saw a woman having sex with an animal. Not only does this dream indicate a curse, but more so Confusion. Confusion simply means disorder, so in the dream, if there are other people involved, it's indicating Confusion among those people, Leviticus 18:23. Again, the dream reveals the root or intent of those folks, which generally you can not see.

Let us look at another revelation concerning sexual dreams. Let's say you were interested in purchasing a piece of property or purchasing a home and this particular home or property you dreamt of sexual relationship among relatives such as sisters and brothers Father and daughters, etc. The dream indicates to you that that home or property is cursed. Again, the dream shows you what you cannot see physically from a spiritual point of view. It offers you the root of the problem of that home/property. Leviticus 18:24-25. Time will not permit me to reveal even more. However, I strongly advise you to read Leviticus 18:1-20. This chapter will give all details as it relates to sexual sins. More importantly, it provides the revelation to unlock the mystery of your dreams.

I will end here for now, but part 3, our following teaching, will be a real eye-opener concerning dreams. I promise you this one will make the hairs on your head stand up. I must say to those who have inboxed me concerning your dreams. I do welcome your comments and look forward to hearing from you. I am not ignoring you, but there are so many, and I wait upon the leading of the Holy Spirit to give the precise interpretation of your dreams. So you will be hearing from me soon.

Dreams and their understanding Part 7

Sexual dreams part 1

By far, sexual dreams are some of the most common dreams one would experience. For the most part, some of these dreams are so real that it encourages the dreamer to begin pursuit of the one that they were engaged in sexual activity within the dream.

I want to warn you that sexual dreams are some of the most deceptive and manipulative you'll ever have. Firstly, sex in a dream represents covenant or agreement. Therefore whenever you see this type of activity in a dream, make no mistake it speaks of some kind of agreement you're knowingly or unknowingly participating in. Secondly, these dreams automatically indicate curses, which we'll explain in-depth in this teaching.

Most folks battling with spirits of lust, sexual immorality, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, pedophilia, masturbation, and perversion more than likely received that spirit via their dreams.

Let me explain how this works; remember, in our earlier teachings, I told you that your dreams show you things from their root/origin. Also, your dreams allow your spirit to interact with the spirit world from an observatory position for the most part. However, in the dream, the person or persons that you engage in sexual activity with is not really the person you're dreaming about. Instead, it is called the world of dreams, Masquerading spirits. Scripture reminds up of the following, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light" 2 Corinthians 11:14.

Masquerading spirits are evil spirits/Demons pretending or disguising themselves as people in our dreams that we're either familiar with, attracted to, or mere strangers.

Their purpose is to get the dreamer to open a spiritual door in their lives by engaging sexually with these Masquerading spirits in the dream (covenant, agreement). Once sexual intercourse is achieved, these evil spirits have the necessary permission to invade the dreamer's life, unknowing to the dreamer. These evil spirits are incredibly crafty and strategic in their behavior and operate within the boundaries of biblical laws to their benefit. For example, the principle that they've engaged here focuses on unity. This principle states,  "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined doing" Genesis 11:6. The principle of unity is also be found in the New Testament. "What? Know ye not that he joined to a harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh" 1 Corinthians 6:16.

The evidence of this spiritual interaction will be manifested in the dreamer's natural life. For example, during specific times of the month, the dreamer will be challenged with strong sexual desires. This is the case whether the person is married or not. Ask God to remove the spirit and close any entry into which the enemy can slip. one of the more notable signs would be an obsession with masturbation. Another sign, this person becomes obsessed with perverted sex such as anal sex, bestiality sex in public places, unprotected sex, etc. In fact, the riskier the sex, the more the victim finds it appealing. If you notice your kids change in behavior related to their sexuality, parents begin fasting and praying against open doors in that child's life (spiritual doors). Due to spiritual ignorance, the victim would never associate such behavior with their dreams.

Another sign is unfaithfulness in a relationship, especially if it's accompanied by no remorse or guilt of the affair. Being tormented by relentless sexual thoughts, all jokes, examples, illustrations, and statements becomes sexually orientated. This person also develops fetishes such as voyeurism and the like.

It is a must that I hasten to add that the longer it takes for this person to get help/deliverance, the more these sexual spirits begin to multiply in their host, to the extent this individual transitions from obsession to rape or they're turned on through violent sexual activities. I will end here due to two other parts of sexual dreams that I have to cover. I can assure you that your eyes will be open to greater realities related to sexual dreams. Stay tuned for parts 2 & 3 of Sexual dreams.

Dreams and their understanding Part 6

Dreaming of people

As stated in our previous teaching, people in our dreams can become kind of interesting as it relates to the life of the dreamer, in that the folks that are observed in our dreams are a reflection of a particular character or personality traits in the dreamer life of the life of others.

In this teaching we’ll go through a general list of professions and positions and explain their significance to the dreamer:

Doctor: symbolizes healing ministry, wisdom, a solution also authority and respect, Matthew 9:12, Luke 4:23

Carpenter: Preacher/Teacher of the Word of God or an encourager,
Matthew 13:25, Isaiah 41:7

Driver: someone in control, depending on the dream regarding one’s Job, Marriage, Ministry, etc., whoever is doing the driving is the one controlling the situation/relationship/leadership.
2 Kings 9:20

Clown: childishness, speak to a situation not being serious but more importantly it represents a fool. The book of Proverbs is overwhelmed with the behavior of an idiot, Proverbs 3:35, Proverbs 10:21, Proverbs 1:22, Proverbs 14:9, Proverbs 15:14.

Farmer: Pastor, preacher/teacher, evangelist, leadership, one who sows into the lives of others, it can also represent God/Jesus. John 15:2, Mark 4:13, Corinth, 9:6-11

Father: symbolizes the head (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), also, symbolizes the beginning of curses and blessings. It can also be an indicator of the Devil or one who is a provider and protector. John 8:44, 1 John 5:7, Genesis 12:1-2, Exodus 20:5

Mother: one that comforts, nurture, can also represent one who meddles, controller all depending on the dream, teacher, adviser or one doing the will of God. Matthew 12:50, Ezekiel 16:44, Proverbs 1:8, Proverbs 31:1.

Lawyer: advisor, counselor, defender, mediator
1 John 2:1, Titus 3:13

Police/Security Guard: symbolizes spiritual host such as Demons or Angels. If it’s a good dream, it indicates demonic activity or attack. If the dream is a good dream, it means Angelic protection or defense. Hebrews 1:7, 14, 2 Kings 6:15-17.

Giant: challenge/difficulty, Demonic Stronghold strongman or Angelic stronghold
2 Samuel 21: 16-25, Genesis 6:4, Duet: 2: 10-11, 2 Chron 20: 4-8

Grand Mother/Grand Father: indicators of things concerning the past, generational curses or blessings, inheritance or wisdom.
Proverbs 13:22, 2 Timothy 1:5

Baby: Represents a new beginning, or something new, novice, immaturity, first stage of something, a miracle. Hebrews 5: 13, 1 Peter 2:2, 1 Corinthians 3: 1,

Bride: The Church, covenant, depending on the dream it could represent faithfulness or unfaithfulness in things natural or spiritual. Isaiah 62: 5, John 3:29, 2 Corinth. 6:14, Revelation 22:1, Revelation 21:9.

Again, these are but a few of the general symbols, as we continue our teaching, we’ll add more to the above list. I want to make clear, that depending on your dream the symbols can be of a positive or negative nature. Deciphering as to what symbol would represent what will depend on how the dream presented itself. For example were the contents of your dream filled with fear, anxiety, happiness, darkness, a bright light, etc.

I will end here for now and continue in my next teaching with sexual dreams.

Dreams and their understanding Part 5

Origins and dreaming of people Part 1

Like I have been reiterating throughout the course of these teachings, every dream is attempting to indicate to the dreamer the root or origin of matters going on in the Dreamer’s life or the lives of others.

I have also mentioned that everything that takes place in our natural world is as a result or product of the spirit world, which so happens to also be the parent world of our natural world. This is important to understand as it relates to dreams, because not only is the spirit world the parent world to our natural world but it is also the origin of all things, inclusive of dreams. This therefore suggests that the origin of all things are of a spiritual nature, be it your problems, challenges, job, relationship, children etc.

Every situation we face in life is only the end result of what took place in the spirit world prior to its manifestation. So, dreams are revealing the root of that which we cannot understand naturally from a spiritual perspective, again, such as marital problems, financial problems, not able to progress, past, present and future events etc. Let us look at some biblical facts to strengthen this most important point before we expand further on today’s teaching, “Origins and dreaming of people”.

The book of Hebrews chapter 11:3 is drenched with the revelation between the spirit world and our natural world and how the beginning of all things has its origin in the spirit world. In the above mentioned scripture it says the following, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”. Now in order to fully understand this scripture let us look at a few facts, 1) firstly God is a spirit according to John 4:24. 2) God’s word is also spirit John 6:63. Therefore Hebrews 11:3 is saying that the worlds, which is also inclusive of our world were framed (constructed) by the word of God (which is spirit) so that things that do appear (our natural world) were not made of things that do appear (or things that are material). Therefore the things that created the world must be things that are spiritual (not visible).

Let us look at another fact In support of this vital point in Genesis chapter 1:1 it says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The Hebrew word for the word “create” is the word “Bara” and it means to form (It also suggest to form something out of nothing). In essence if we refer back to Hebrews 11:3 then we must assume that God formed our world out of materials that do not exist. In other words the word created in Genesis 1:1 means that God created something (the heavens and the earth) out of nothing, thus this nothing is in actuality the spirit world.

Having said all of that, it is therefore mandatory that we see our dreams from a spiritual perspective, again because it’s revealing the beginning or origin of our ongoing matters. In fact if our dreams are interpreted correctly our destinies will be easily discovered and whatever is blocking or acting as an obstacle in our destiny can be easily dealt with. The things we’re seeing in our dreams are symbols of earthly things to convey spiritual messages, simply because we cannot comprehend the spiritual realm in its entirety.

Now, as it relates to people in our dreams, seventy percent of our dreams will involve people. People in our dreams for the most part are characters indicating specific things about ourselves. One of the best ways to interpret these types of dreams depending on the dream of course is to identify what is the most outstanding thing that comes to mind as it relates to that person’s character or personality. For example if the person in the dream character or personality dictates pride, lust, joy, peace, hate or whatever, then the dream is saying to you that whatever that personality is in that person is a reflection of you. If you dreamt about the leader of your country it could be pointing out the leadership in you. If the dream consists of someone that is fearful, then it’s indicating a fearful spirit in you. However, like I said earlier it all depends on the dream, for example your Pastor of spiritual leader in a dream could represent God in a dream, your mother in a dream could represent someone of a nurturing and caring spirit and not necessarily you. As we proceed with these teaching I will explain to you how to decipher the understanding of the symbols of people depending on the dreams.

We’ll end here for now, but our next teaching will be dealing more with people in our dreams which is very common dreams. Again I want to hear from you and even more so I would appreciate if you would introduce others to these teachings. If you are interested you can inbox me your email addresses so I can forward these teachings from the beginning to where we’re presently teaching.

Dreams and their understanding Part 4

Signs and symbols part 2

In our last teaching, we dealt with understanding how God uses signs and symbols relative to our everyday environment, which would become apparent once we interpreted the dream's message.

I want to begin this teaching with a law that governs dreams/mysteries. Many of you have probably read the following scripture before but never realized that it was law. As a follower and believer of Jesus Christ, the reality is that you have what it takes to interpret dreams and unlock mysteries. The only thing preventing you from understanding your dreams clearly is dream principles and heavily relying on the Holy Spirit to guide you in revealing the mystery of your dream.

"Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out," Proverbs 20:5. Let's dissect this scripture to expose its in-depth meaning. Let me first remind you of Matthew 13:11, which reads: "He answered and said unto them, Because it is given (past tense) unto you (followers of Jesus Christ) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (unbelievers ) it is not given." The latter scripture indicated that the people of God have what it takes to understand mysteries/dreams. At the same time, those that are not in a relationship with him do not have it. Proverbs 20:5 begins by saying counsel in the heart of man is like deep water. This statement is considered a simile. A simile is a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind (e.g., as brave as a lion). The word counsel is defined as advice, opinion, or instruction in directing the judgment or conduct. So, Proverbs 20:5 did not say counsel was deep water; instead, it compared it to deep water. In other words, your God-given counsel (instructions and advice) as a follower of Jesus Christ to understand dreams are buried deep within you. It is like sunken treasure at the bottom of the ocean. As long as you're at the surface, you will never know what's at the bottom. Scripture goes on to say, "A man of understanding draws it out." This is where the Holy Spirit comes in. As a reminder, I said that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth, and his job is to lead us into all truth. So the Holy Spirit, if allowed, will dig deep within your spirit to retrieve the understanding necessary to bring clarity to your dreams. Proverbs 4:1, 4:5, 4:7, 5:1, Proverbs 8:14, which I am convinced the entire chapter speaks of the Holy Spirit, which says that he is understanding!

The bible is filled with metaphors and similes; again, the whole idea is to understand spiritual things by comparing. Let us look at the word house; we know the word house to be a dwelling place for folks and their families. However, using this word house to convey a deeper understanding of the spiritual world. For example, let us review the following scripture. "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he comes, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished "Matthew 12:43-44. In this scripture, Jesus clearly said, "When the evil spirit is gone out of a man." However, when the evil spirit decided to return, the evil spirit did not say let him go back into the man. Instead, he called the man his house. This is just one of the thousands of biblical clues to unlock your dreams where words are substituted or compared to something else. A House will usually represent the life of someone; now, just like with anything else, the different parts of a house will speak to other aspects of the person's life. For example, let's say you had a dream about your bedroom or a bedroom; well, what does a bedroom represents? It represents privacy, intimacy, peace, covenant (husband & wife). Overall the message of the dream is pointing to the private areas of one's life.

Attic/ceiling/roof: thoughts, mind, meditation, covering, complete
Basement: things that are forgotten, hidden, secret, depression
Garage: storage, not letting go of something's that are not needed
Kitchen: preparation, distribution, sharing
Dining room: communion, sharing, imparting, feeding
Front porch/front yard: indicating things of the future
Back Porch/back yard: things behind or things of the past
Bathroom: confession, repentance, forgiveness, cleansing indicating a change
Dirty house: suggests a need for attention
New house: change for the better, a fresh start, a new beginning
Old house/childhood home/ former residence: indicates things of the past spiritual generational inheritance, traditions. Something from the past that is influencing the individual today. Setbacks, delays, starting over, non-progress, etc.

These are just general symbols. Like I said, not every symbol and sign would have the same meaning to everyone. One's culture plays a heavy role in the understanding of symbols aided by the Holy Spirit.

The majority of dreams would be about yourself. This is also important to note because most folks make the error of dream interpretation by not figuring out who is the subject of the dream. They would automatically assume that because other folks are in the dream, it's about others. For the most part, dreams deal with either your past, current, or future situations such as your relationships, finances, health, especially things that concern you a lot. Below is a list of biblical references to how one deciphers if a dream is about themselves or others. If you follow the principle of these references, it will become easier to interpret if it's you the dream is referring to or someone else:

Gen. 15:1-21: Abraham in interaction with God & sleeps = dream about himself
Gen. 20:1-18: Abimelech and God in interaction = dream about himself
Gen. 28:10-22: Jacob being spoken to by God = dream about himself
Gen. 31:10-29: Jacob and God in interaction = dream about himself
Gen. 37:1-11: Joseph and brothers in interaction = dream about himself
Gen. 40:1-23: Cupbearer and Baker = dreams about themselves
Gen. 41:1-49: Pharaoh's dream of 7 cows = dream for others
Gen. 46:1-7: Israel in dialogue with God = dream about himself
Judges 7:9-18: Loaf of bread hitting camp = dream about himself
1 Kings 3:5-28: God and Solomon interact = dream about himself
Daniel 2:1-49: Statue hit by stone = dream about others
Daniel 7:1-28: Four beasts = dream about others
Daniel 8:1-27: Ram and goat = dream about others
Daniel 10:1-12:13: Terrifying vision = dream about others
Matt. 1:20-25: God spoke to Joseph = dream about himself
Matt. 2:3-15: God spoke to Joseph = dream about himself
Matt. 2:19-23: God spoke to Joseph = dream about himself

I will end here for now, but our following teaching will deal with people in our dreams and their meaning. Again I am more than excited about these teachings, and I trust that you are as well. If you have any questions or need clarity, do let me know. I certainly enjoy this gift of teaching that God has given me and enjoy even more the idea of sharing it. I welcome comments.

Dreams and their understanding -Signs and symbols 1, Part 3

Signs and Symbols Part 1

Continuing from our last teaching “The Anatomy of a dream part 2” today we’ll transition into the second phase of our teaching, “signs and symbols”

I said to you in our previous teaching that the followers of Jesus Christ or the people of God are already possessors of the revealed mysteries/secrets of the kingdom which is also inclusive of dreams. We used as a supporting scripture Matthew 13:11, Deuteronomy 29:29 and Amos 3:7.

The spirit world which I have mentioned to you is the parent world to our natural world and that it is also the origin or root of all things. Therefore our dreams are spiritual messages coded in a mystery simply because it is difficult to understand things fully from the spirit world. So, God uses things that we are familiar with in our everyday environment to convey the root of what he's attempting to communicate to us.

Now, let me make clear from the get-go, not all symbols and signs mean the same thing to everyone. For example dreaming of a fish in some cultures and environments can mean fertility (pregnancy) while in others it could mean increase, multiplication and abundance as in the feeding of the 4000 and 5000 by Jesus (two fish and three bread multiplied). With that being said every sign symbol and character in your dream will be relative to you and your environment. As for me whenever I dream about rough seas, floods, and tsunami it will always indicate great trouble and confusion.

One of the greatest errors in dream interpretation is to immediately take on the view that the dream means exactly what you saw in the dream. In fact, folks that witness the manifestation of what they have actually dreamed have a very close relationship with God. As usual, let us seek scriptural evidence to validate this very important point. God said to Moses, Miriam, and Aaron, “Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak to him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. I speak with him face to face, plainly and not in riddles. He even sees the form of the LORD. Why weren't you afraid to criticize my servant Moses?" Numbers 12:6-8.

So here we have empirical evidence that one’s relationship with God will determine how clearly he speaks to them. He said that because of the faithfulness of Moses his servant he put aside symbols, riddles, and mysteries and instead make clear to Moses exactly what he wants Moses to know. As a sides note this particular Scripture also points out that frequent dreamers and those that have visions are in fact prophets. If read carefully it clearly states that “if there be a prophet among you I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision and speak to him in dreams.

Let us now use a biblical example to expand our understanding to the fact that not only does the people of God have the ability to automatically understand the symbols of a dream/mystery, but the spirit of God, which is the Holy Spirit is the one leading them to these revelations of symbols to unveil the mystery. In the book of Genesis chapter 37 beginning at verse 5, we’re told that Joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers. As a result of revealing the dream, scripture says that his brothers hated him.

The following is Joseph’s dream, “For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf”. His brothers responded to his dream with the following, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words”.

Now isn't it interesting how Joseph never explained or took the time to interpret his dream to his brothers, instead his brothers who were also the people of God (The Hebrew people) automatically understood the dream because the symbols were relative to their everyday living? Therefore interpreting the dream would have been quite simple for them. Like I said earlier, God used the things that were relative to their everyday life as symbols to them in Joseph’s dream that once interpreted they would understand the mystery of the dream. In fact, the dream spoke of Joseph not only being a future ruler but will also rule over his family, which provoked his brothers to jealousy and hatred towards Joseph.

Joseph had a second dream that he told his brothers, here is what he said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars bowed down to me”, Genesis 37:9. Scripture goes on to say that he also told the dream to his father. Now watch how Matthew 13:11 comes into play (it is given unto you which is the people of God to know the mysteries). Scripture said that Joseph father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?” Again, Joseph never indicated any of what was being said to him by his family; nevertheless, they understood the coded message in the dream and was able to get a glimpse of the future concerning Joseph via the dream.

Again, I have biblically demonstrated to you how symbols signs and characters once converted or interpret in relation to your environment and culture it will make complete sense as long as you’re being led by the Holy Spirit of course. I will end here for now but our next teaching will go further in depth concerning symbols, signs, and characters.
