The number 8

Are you currently in a financial bind? Did an unexpected bill pop up that you were certainly not
prepared for? What about those funds you were patiently waiting for to meet the needs of your regular August bills, such as school fees, school books, insurance, etc.?

Now, I am quite aware that many have posted at the beginning of this month of August, that this month which is the eighth month represents change, a new beginning and so on, which I completely agree with.

However, because August is the 8th month and the number 8 in the realm of the spirit represents a new beginning or starting over, change, etc. this WILL NOT JUST AUTOMATICALLY HAPPEN! As with everything else, there is always a spiritual fight involved.

You see my friend! This is where we usually go wrong. We are misled to believe that a certain number or a particular season will cause Satan to take a back seat and roll out a red carpet for us and say, "Hey Mr. or Ms. Christian go ahead and enjoy what God has prepared for you in whatever season you're in". I don't think so!

As you may or may not know, the realm of the spirit is all about covenants. As such, the Believer must prepare himself that be it the 8th day, 8th month or whatever symbol or assigned place, season or time that represents change,, prosperity, increase or whatever... IT WILL BE MET WITH BRUTE DEMONIC RESISTANCE!

This is why the Believer must be spiritually informed and educated properly in theses areas of spiritual warfare. Therefore, The Believer must be consistently reminding God of his word and promises that were made to them concerning a particular number, date, place or whatever. For example, You must be declaring throughout this 8th month of August, "Father I decree and declare that this 8th month is a  month of positive change for me, I decree and declare that this month  I will rise above my enemies and oppressors,

I decree and declare that every known and unexpected bill will be met during the course of this month because your word says that you shall supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19. "Lord I now come in agreement with your word concerning this month, that absolutely no weapon formed by the Devil and his agents will prosper in this 8th month against my life, Isaiah 54:17. Father I will see your word come to pass that says. "you will increase me more and more me and my children" Psalm 115:14, in this 8th month. Lord, I agree that the counsel of my enemies against me shall be converted to foolishness, 2 Samuel 15:31 in this 8th month. Father, I bind myself to your word that says, you will do exceedingly abundantly and above all that I could ask or think according to the power that operates in me, Ephesians 3:20, in this 8th month.

You see my friend, this is spiritual warfare, coming in agreement with what the word says, not sitting back and believing that because of the spiritual significance of a number things will automatically happen for you. Instead, the number 8 which we know spiritually represents new beginnings only provides the stage for us the Believer. We must now reinforce the word of God to dismantle the spiritually demonic brute force that has been assigned specifically against this period designed for change, so that what this number represents, number 8 in this case, do not manifest.

This explains why many folks have declared and decreed that this month is a month of new beginnings. However, I can promise you that many of them will pass through this month terribly disappointed simply because they thought the monies, favor, opportunities would arrive in their laps unhindered or because they sowed a $1000 special seed things would just go smooth sailing or because Apostle so and so said so it will happen....... Look! You are already in the middle of this 8th month, you still have half a month more to go, so why not apply this spiritual understanding that I am freely giving to you and once practiced YOU WILL SEE CHANGE!

"The people of God are not experiencing and participating in the promises and benefits of God, simply because they lack the knowledge of God, God said that because you rejected his knowledge, he has also rejected you and you children Hosea 4:6

Your time to be helped is coming

Many of you are feeling confused and challenged, wondering when the time will come for someone to help you. God has used you in a significant way by showing you kindness and compassion and meeting the needs of others with the little that you have.

However, despite your needs and unmet desires, your passion for helping and serving others is still alive. Nevertheless, this does not dispel the repetitive thoughts that traffic in and out of your mind about when God's promises to you for helping others will manifest.

Well, my friend, God knows your heart, and he's pretty aware of the challenges of your mind and what appears to be unfair to you. However, his plans for you far exceed your temporary discomfort. Your obedience in continuing to do what he's impressed upon you to do, even while your needs are seemingly barely being met, will, in time, yield an immeasurable reward for you. Faithfulness is essential!

The Lord wants me to encourage you this morning and remind you of his word, Hebrews 6:10. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward his name in that you have ministered (served) to the saints and continue to minister.

As a reminder to you, my friend, the law of temporary dictates that there are times and seasons for every purpose under the sun, Eccl 3:1. Those whom you are serving, it is indeed their time, and God has chosen you to provide their fruit in their season despite you being fruitless. God has commissioned someone to do likewise towards you in abundance as you do in your kindness, love, compassion, and giving to others despite your afflictions and fruitlessness. The promise of God is evident, and it says, "He that gives water to others shall one day be given water" Proverbs 11:25.

The kindness you're planting now has an assigned date to produce fruits for you in the future!

"The eyes of all wait upon thee, and thou givest them their meat in DUE season. Thou open their hands and satisfy the desire of every living creature" Psalm 145:15-16.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP!

I want to reach out to anyone reading this who feels profoundly hurt and believes that life is merely a cycle of sorrow filled with disappointment and despair. Before you take your next step, please listen to me for a moment.

Using myself as an example, I have taken my life's struggles, pains, disappointments, and failures and used them as a new lens to view life. Like you, I have experienced many letdowns, unexplainable hurts, broken promises, and relentless thoughts about the purpose of life.

There were moments when I thought praying was pointless, so much so that I even stopped (not something I recommend). But my friend, the challenges I encountered ultimately benefited me more than I ever expected. Like everything else, each issue, situation, and circumstance has its own duration. Yet, during these times, we often get conditioned to dwell on the negatives instead of seeing them as valuable lessons for future achievements. Looking back, I can genuinely express gratitude to God for every obstacle, every disappointment, and anything else I deemed unfair. With those challenges behind me, my outlook on life has transformed significantly. I've gained a deeper appreciation and understanding of life and why those moments were necessary for future development.

I beg you to consider this: the most detrimental error one could commit is surrendering or abandoning hope. By engaging in such actions, you are discarding the essential components that have been meticulously crafted and allowed by God to equip you for the breakthrough for which you are being prepared. This explains why God rarely informs folks of the details of their process. For example, can you imagine if God said to Joseph, "you will be second in command of Egypt, but before that happens, your brothers will hate you, you will be sold into slavery, you will be falsely accused of rape and thrown into prison for something you did not do?" I am sure he would have said, "I would love to be second in charge of Egypt, but if I have to go through all of that, forget it!" If you read Joseph's story carefully, every struggle he encountered literally prepared and led him to his God-ordained destiny.

Once more, I want to encourage you: DO NOT GIVE UP! DO NOT GIVE IN! When seen in the right light, your challenges are just temporary moments shaping you for something greater. You'll get your chance to take the lead, but it's important to remember that you're gaining valuable and necessary experience before your time to shine arrives.

The bottom line is that life will always seem difficult, sad, disappointing, and the like when one is being conditioned for change. You cannot enjoy or even handle what's awaiting your arrival with your current state of mind. In fact, your current state of mind is an enemy to your future! Hence, your challenges are preparing you to value and appreciate what has been reserved exclusively by God, just for you.

ARE YOU ADDRESSING THE ROOT?

Do you find yourself experiencing the same old problem time and time again? What about having to face a
sure dislike situation that seems as if it will never go away?

Well, my friend like with anything else in life if you refuse to remove the root then the truth is you should be in expectation of experiencing the same thing over and over again.

If you are not dealing with the root of your problem, then it's like cutting the leaves and branches off of a tree and expecting that tree to die.

I want to say to someone this morning who is just tired of going through the motions..... Rather than addressing the leaves and branches of your problem, which would be people, places and things (things that are physical), why not address your situations from an entirely different perspective and that is from its root which will always be SPIRITUAL!

If your friend is a liar, then your friend would be considered a leaf or branch of the problem. The root would be a lying spirit that is influencing your friend to constantly lie.

The bottom line here is, scripture says that every seed produces after its kind, if you want to know what kind you're dealing with then observe its behavior. Its response will reveal the spirit that's operating behind that person, place or thing.

Father, we pray that you would expose the root of our problems in this day and in days to come, so that we will be able to sever the root in an effort that everything else concerning our situations will also die, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Dreams Reveal Spiritual Sickness

Have you had dreams where you were being injected?
What about dreams where you were drinking dirty water?
Have you dreamed of being bitten by a snake, dog, or cat?
What about eating in a dream?
Have you had dreams of strange-looking dolls with pins inserted in them?
What about a dream where you're vomiting blood, food, or other liquids?
Have you ever dreamed of being covered with a skin disease, such as boils, but in reality, you were healthy?
What about having dreams where you are at a cemetery or someone is burying something in a cemetery that belongs to you?
Have you had dreams where someone is bathing you in the sea, river, or dirty water?
What about dreams where incisions were made in your flesh?
Have you experienced dreams where you were missing a limb?
Have you had dreams where a dead relative or friend died from a particular sickness in reality, but they're attempting to interact or communicate with you in the dream?
Have you had dreams where you're eating rotten fruit?

Such dreams and much more like them clearly reveal a spirit of sickness and infirmity attempting to invade the dreamer's life spiritually, that, if not challenged with prayer and, in some cases, fasting, will manifest unexplained physical illnesses. Such dreams prey on the dreamer's ignorance by convincing them that their dream was a mere dream! Neglecting the spiritual fact that even though their physical body is at rest, their spirit man is wide awake, eating, drinking, and participating in spiritual things in the dream that's working against them.

I met a man once who told me he was bitten by a giant black snake in a dream, and ever since the dream, he has been in and out of the hospital for unexplained illnesses. This person was unaware that the snake in the dream spiritually bit into their human spirit, ultimately altering their physical health destiny. In his spiritual ignorance, the man never canceled or rebuked the dream to prevent the physical manifestation of what was done spiritually, simply because he was ignorant of such spiritual knowledge. Thus, "My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge," Hosea 4:6. This is another case where the law of ignorance will run its course.

This Gentleman spent many years wasting money on Doctors and false prophets who told him lies. In fact, by his own admission, the remedies offered to him made his situation worse. He added that his frustration became increasingly overwhelming.

Luke 16:19-31 accounts for an unnamed rich man and a beggar known as Lazarus. During the initial part of the story, they're referenced regarding their physical existence. However, verses 22-31 describe these men as still existing after death, even though verse 22 clearly says that they both died and were buried. Surprisingly, they still possess their five senses in their dead state, particularly the rich man who could taste, see, feel, and hear.

As a reminder, these individuals are physically deceased; however, their spirits appear to continue existing, albeit in a spiritual state within the spirit world. It is this very spirit that governs our human bodies. Consequently, whatever transpires in our spiritual selves while we are alive will inevitably reflect upon our physical bodies. This underscores the importance of taking our dreams seriously, particularly when we encounter the examples I have previously illustrated in our dreams.

Let's take it a little deeper. The Apostle Paul spoke of a celestial body and a terrestrial body in 1 Corinthians 15:40. However, he also mentions that a human body is sown or buried as a natural body, but it will be raised as a spiritual body. He elaborates that there is a natural body and a spiritual body.1 Corinthians 15:44. I believe spiritual people understand that they could change the course of a person's destiny by challenging that person from the spirit realm. Whatever was done to them spiritually will be displayed in their everyday life if there is no resistance against what has been planted spiritually.

Balak, the king of the Moabites, clearly understood this spiritual truth. He realized that neither his army nor the nation of Israel was a match for the other. In fact, he was told the children of Israel defeated Sihon,  king of the Amorites, and their armies, along with Og, the king of Bashan, and his armies. So Balak knew that to have a chance at defeating the children of Israel, he would have to launch his initial attack from a spiritual perspective by placing a curse on the nation of Israel. By so doing, they would be disabled physically. Witchcraft spiritually puts the human spirit in bondage, thus setting limitations on the victim. Of course, the victim believes that he's in control when the truth is he's being influenced and controlled by evil spirits assigned to him that have programmed him for defeat, failure, death, sickness, etc.

Scripture records that King Balak sent for the prophet Balaam to pronounce a curse on Israel: "Come now, curse these people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed" Numbers 22:6. Scripture says, "the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fees for divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and gave him Balak's message" Numbers 22:7. Long story short, King Balak Summons Balaam, the prophet, to curse Israel (disable Israel spiritually). King Balak's reward to the prophet Balaam would be his divination payment.

This passage of Scripture proves that when folks can not defeat you physically, they would consult with witchcraft workers to subdue you spiritually, to overcome you physically. Nevertheless, God would not have us ignorant of the enemy's devices. Therefore, our dreams, which serve as spiritual monitors, always reveal what is pending in the realm, allowing us to cancel and rebuke it in the spiritual world so that there is no manifestation in the natural realm.

You're probably saying, "Hey, but I am no prophet." Well, let's see what Scripture says about that. As a reminder, God promised that he would allow nothing on the earth unless he reveals the secrets or, should we say, a mystery to his servants, the prophets first, Amos 3:7. "And the LORD said to them, "Now listen to what I say: "If there are prophets among you, I, the LORD, would reveal myself in visions. I would speak to them in dreams." Numbers 12:6. So, are you a dreamer? Do you have visions? Well, according to Scripture, you are indeed a prophet. Therefore, you should be in a state of expectancy regarding what God will reveal to you via your dreams concerning you and even others.

Please! I can not emphasize enough that your dreams are real. The reality of your dreams takes you into the spiritual world, revealing what you would never know under normal circumstances. What you decide to do after the dream will determine your destiny.

Dreams of masturbation

I was asked some time ago what does it mean when the contents of a dream are about masturbation?

Scripture says, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" 2 Corinthians 10:5. Well, dreams that consist of masturbation are spiritual symbols that would indicate a spirit of perversion attempting to pollute the dreamer's spirit. Folks that engage in a fast, especially frequent and lengthy fast, will experience such dreams.

The Enemy understands that it's difficult to distract a person focused on God, particularly during a fast and during the daytime or while awake. Of course, that person would resist, rebuke, and challenge those evil thoughts imagination and bring those thoughts and imagination under captivity to the obedience of Christ as the spiritual law instructs us to do.

However, the Enemy also understands that we are very vulnerable during our sleeping periods and takes full advantage of that, again, according to spiritual law, "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way" Matthew 13:25. Some Christians become frustrated when they seem to have it all together during the day or during their waking hours regarding their Christian walk. However, they are tormented by sexual dreams during the night or whenever they decide to go to sleep. Of course, such dreams must be canceled, rebuked, and destroyed by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. As a reminder, sexual dreams inclusive of masturbation represent demonic evil covenants established in the spirit realm via the dream that, if not canceled, will manifest evil in reality for the dreamer.

Dreams of masturbation also represent a spirit of selfishness. If the dreamer is the one masturbating in the dream, then the dream reveals that the dreamer has a selfish spirit. Suppose someone else in the dream is masturbating. In that case, the dream could either indicate that the person being observed masturbating has a selfish spirit or, depending on the characteristics of the person masturbating, it could symbolize someone in the dreamer's life with the same characteristics as a selfish spirit.

Dreams that consist of masturbation can also indicate a spirit of poverty wanting to attach itself to the dreamer's life. Here is why masturbation is about achieving sexual pleasure. In most cases, masturbation is an addiction whereby its victim is obsessed with attaining pleasure. Scripture says the following regarding those who have a love for pleasure: "He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man" Proverbs 21:17. Therefore, according to spiritual law, the love of pleasure (love in this case, meaning someone obsessed by it) is positioning him or herself to be attacked by the spirit of poverty.

Do You Understand Why You're Forgetting Your Dreams?

Do you often struggle to remember your dreams? You might wake up knowing you had a long dream but can't recall it fully. Specific triggers might bring back parts of the dream even during the day, but it's still challenging to piece it together.

Understanding that occurrences in dreams are not random or accidental is essential. They are often the result of evil spirits who engineer these acts to prevent the dreamer from confronting any evil covenants that may have been established without their knowledge in their dream.

Dreaming about eating is often seen as a negative sign. What initially seems like food in your dream may actually represent satanic spiritual manipulation, intended to mimic food and contaminate your human spirit through witchcraft. This could result in unexplained physical ailments that medical professionals might find difficult to diagnose due to their spiritual origin. If you can't remember your dream, it's even more essential to recognize that an evil covenant might have been established in a dream you are unaware of. As such, you might have experienced a dream of eating yet completely forgotten it upon waking. Regardless of whether you recall it, it's crucial to rebuke all evil covenants that may have arisen during your dreams.

 Individuals engaged in spiritual warfare and those who observe disciplined fasting may face difficulties remembering their dreams. This tactic is used by the Enemy to gain leverage in spiritual combat. Practitioners of witchcraft often utilize this strategy, especially against Christians, to obstruct their spiritual insight into the Enemy's intentions.

Both Christians and non-Christians should recognize the significance of their dreams. Dreams act as gateways to the spiritual realm, disclosing future events, whether beneficial or detrimental. It is wise to pray for the ability to recall your dreams. If remembering becomes challenging, pray for protection against any potential harm and for the dismantling of all evil covenants established against you and your family.

Another reason to challenge your inability to recall your dreams is that, based on overwhelming testimonies, I have observed that individuals on the verge of a breakthrough, financial recovery, restoration, or experiencing a lack of progress in their lives often struggle to remember their dreams. Again, it is the enemy's vicious resistance that prevents the dreamer from uncovering what might be causing delays in their life through their dreams.

I would be neglectful if I didn't mention that to succeed in this spiritual battle and secure the resources needed to not only fight but also achieve victory, one must accept the Lord Jesus Christ and become part of the body of Christ. A non-believer who has experienced protection in spiritual warfare until now has done so solely by the mercies and grace of God, not as a right enjoyed by believers in Jesus Christ.

It’s important to remember that for spiritual beings to influence human destinies, a mutual agreement or covenant is required. Unfortunately, many people go about their daily lives under the influence of evil covenants formed in their dreams, often without realizing it. These covenants lead to hardship and negative cycles, ensuring that the individual struggles to find success throughout their life.

"Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, if the contents of my dream, which I cannot remember, were aligned with you and your purpose for my life as stated in Jeremiah 29:11, then I fully accept your plans. However, if what I dreamt did not come from you and if I was misled by the Enemy to concur with deceptive covenants against my destiny, I cancel, rebuke, and reject those covenants, commanding them to be destroyed by your power, in the name of your son Jesus Christ!"
