I woke up, fell asleep and the dream continued

Have you ever had the experience where you woke up out of a dream only to fall back asleep and the dream continues?

Such dreams should never even be ignored for the mere fact that such a dream is revealing a very important message or instruction. Now with some folks the dream would either continue from where it left off after going back to sleep or the dream would start from the beginning again,

Scriptures says to us, “For God speaks once, even twice, yet man understands it not.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumbering upon the bed;

16 Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their "INSTRUCTIONS", Job 33:14-16

The above scripture while pointing out to us some of the ways God attempts to communicate to us, it places emphasis on the dream aspect of God's communications with us. More importantly, the intent of this particular means of communication is clearly revealed in Job 33:16, which is to seal his instructions to us.

Therefore, dreams that continue or start from the beginning once you awake and resume sleeping is attempting to reveal something of great importance. More than likely it could be a warning or again a specific instruction in regards to a pending or current matter. One of the major points we should take away from this passage of scripture is the fact that the scripture begins by clearly stating that God speaks generally to all mankind and not just only to a Believer.

I have had many discussions with non-Christians, who clearly stated to me that most of the major things that occur in their lives were preempted by their dreams. It will always be due to a lack of understanding of our dreams that will cause us to dismiss the warning or instruction being released in our dreams.

Say to the lord right not, "Lord please give me understanding of my dreams so that I would not miss your messages, warning and instructions. Your word declares that it is you alone that gives interpretation and that all interpretation belongs to you according to Genesis 40:8. Therefore, I pray for spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding according to Isaiah 11:2 so that I would understand the mysteries of the spirit in the name of your son   and our savior Jesus Christ. Amen!

The Symbolic Language Of Our Dreams

A parable is a short story that imparts a moral or spiritual lesson. Jesus Christ used parables as teaching tools to reveal the mysteries of the spirit world. Parables are stories with symbols representing something else or speaking to a greater reality.

The purpose of the teaching method was to use cultural references and everyday objects, such as plants, animals, farming, fishing, and money, to convey deeper spiritual meanings. This technique was not exclusive to Jesus but was also used throughout the Old Testament.

Amazingly, this same method is used to understand our dreams for those of us who dream symbolically, which accounts for about 95 percent of us. For example, a "house" can symbolize a person's life in dreams. Jesus also used the symbol of a house to represent a person's life, as mentioned in Matthew 12:43-45. In this teaching, Jesus talked about an unclean spirit that was cast out of a "man" in Matthew 12:43. However, in Matthew 12:44, the same unclean spirit wanted to re-enter the man and referred to the man's life as his "house.""

The Old Testament contains several parables, including one found in Isaiah 5:1-7. In this parable, the prophet Isaiah talks about a vineyard situated on a hill. The vineyard was enclosed with all the stones removed from the property, and the finest of the vine was planted there. The vineyard owner ensured that a tower and a wine press were constructed in the center of the vineyard, and everything was provided to produce the best grapes possible.

Surprisingly, the vineyard produced wild grapes during the grape season instead of the expected high-quality ones. This upset the vineyard's owner so much that he removed the hedge and walls that were previously protecting the vineyard. Unfortunately, this decision ultimately led to the vineyard trodden down, overgrown with briers and thorns, and unable to be pruned.

In Isaiah 5:7, the Bible explains that the vineyard represents the house of Israel, also known as the children of Israel. The Lord had given Israel all the resources they needed to do what was right, but they failed to exercise righteousness and instead oppressed one another. As a result, the Lord withdrew his protection, which led to desolation and hardship. I strongly recommend reading the passage (Isaiah 5:1-7) to better understand this story.

As I mentioned earlier, our dreams often follow a specific format, especially for those who dream through symbols, which mainly accounts for about ninety-five percent of us. Dreaming through symbols simply means that we translate symbols into everyday situations. The remaining five percent of us experience what is known as straight dreams, where things are displayed in reality exactly as they appeared in our dreams.

Ultimately, it is the Holy Spirit who provides interpretation because He is the Spirit of Truth and is responsible for leading us into all Truth according to John 16:13. One who is blessed with the gift of dream interpretation is aided by the Holy Spirit to bring revelation to a dream, provided that the person is willing to be led by the Spirit of Truth. This explains why a dream may seem foolish to the dreamer but makes complete sense to the interpreter. This is also why the scripture says, "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the mighty things" (1 Corinthians 1:27).

In conclusion, dreams are equivalent to parables designed to reveal spiritual truths. As a dream interpreter, I aim to simplify the understanding of interpreting your dreams. Of course, for this to occur, I must lay out the rules, principles, and protocols that govern the dream realm. The bottom line is this. To understand your dreams, you must believe that there is a spiritual world and that the spiritual world is the parent world to our physical world. Dreams allow us to see the pending events scheduled for our material world.

I hope these teachings are helping you and, more importantly, that you are making them practical to interpret your dreams. At the end of the day, it is God that gives interpretation, Genesis 40:8

Dreams That Reveals Hidden Hurt

Whenever I hear someone say that they had a dream, I am always curious to know what messages are being revealed. Better yet, what revelation are they being supplied with to prevent future defeat or destruction for them?

About seven years ago, I met a young man that was in his first year of marriage. However, through his own admission, he said that he was going through a difficult time with his new wife. He said that they were always bucking heads and never seems to agree on anything. This gentleman further said that what had him so puzzled about his wife's behavior was that even after their verbal fights and constant disagreements, she would appear to be so sorry and apologetic for her behavior. He said that he was so confused by her behavior and didn't know what to do.

This gentleman said that it was a dream that he had that placed him in a perplexed state that in some way seem to be correlating with his wife's behavior. "One night, I had a strange dream. In this dream, my wife was lying in bed, the setting in the room was slightly dark. My wife seems to be somewhat sad. I can recall walking towards the bed, asking her what was wrong. She then reached towards me, looking even more depressed, while embracing me with a hug. We hugged each other, and she immediately resumed her position in bed. She then reached for the hem of her skirt that was just below her knee and slightly pulled it up towards her exposing wounds all over her thigh area, which I have never seen before. The dream ended".

As always, and this case is no exception, this gentleman was given revelation to the mystery behind his wife's behavior through his dream. As you would recall, the dream started with the couple in their bedroom, which symbolizes a private or intimate area of the couple's lives. However, since this gentleman's wife is the subject of this dream, the dream reveals her life's specifics. The wife lying in bed would indicate a position of comfort. Still, at the same time, because her facial expression denoted that of sadness, the dream is now revealing that she had made herself comfortable in her misery/depression. The embracing of her husband would indicate her reaching out but at the same time not genuinely revealing her real issues.

It was only when their embracing had ended. She resumed her place on the bed, realizing that her husband still hasn't figured it out. She then proceeded to uncover hidden wounds that he was completely unaware of, and at the same time, he knew that even in his dream, these wounds did not exist on his wife in reality. This part of the dream is now clearly revealing that his wife, in fact, had much hidden unresolved emotional hurt/pain that she has kept suppressing. As a reminder, the bedroom was slightly dark, revealing ignorance, in this case, the husband's ignorance of what is actually going on with his wife. The reality is, the dream was revealing that their fights had very little to do with whatever they were arguing about and everything to do with his wife acting out her past hurt and emotional pain, which were initiating these arguments. In other words, she was allowing her pain from her past to dominate her marriage.

After interpreting his dream, the gentleman said, his wife's behavior began to make complete sense to him. Also, due to the revelation of his dream, he decided to have a candid talk with his wife, hoping that she would be honest in revealing what's going on with her. Well, a few days following, I got a call from the gentleman. He stated that he did have a revealing discussion with his wife. She revealed that her father, whom she loved so much, always cheated on her Mom. As a child, it pained her to see her mother in so much pain and humiliation while, at the same time, so committed to her marriage despite her husband's repeated infidelities. She promised herself that she would never ever allow any man to treat her in such a way and that she was willing to walk away from her own marriage if it remotely resembled her mother's marriage. He added that his wife further explained that her desire to always be controlling, dominating, and stubborn were her preventative measures. He ended by saying they have decided to commit to counseling sessions and work together as a couple to get through this.

Again, here is a clear example of the spirit world via a dream is revealing the root cause of a natural/physical matter. In fact, this gentleman's dream literally revealed the mystery behind his wife's misery. I truly thank God for the gift of dreams and dream interpretation simply because God wants us to deal with their root issues to eliminate the problem altogether.

Stop ignoring your dreams because you're simultaneously ignoring revelations given to you regarding the mysteries taking place in your life.

Real dream about a specific target by the spirit of poverty

"Minister, please sir! I am very much troubled by a dream that I had this morning. I am writing you

along with seeking your help concerning my dream.

There was an article that you wrote some time ago that prompted me to contact you; the following is my dream. In my dream, I was in an unfamiliar house. There was no form of lighting in the home other than the sunlight that dimly pierced through the thick curtains in this house. Anyway, I recall an old gentleman sitting in a chair with his back towards me, and it appeared as if he was talking to a lady advising her how to go about getting her college degrees.

It was strange because in the dream it also seems as if what they were doing regarding discussing this college degree plan was just a trick to distract me. Anyway, there was a refrigerator directly facing my back. I recalled turning around and opened the fridge which was filled with food items. Well, to my surprise the refrigerator was also filled with cockroaches of all kind big and small crawling all over the items in the fridge. I can't say at this point if I closed the refrigerator or not. Anyway, the dream seems to have switched. At this point, I was now standing facing a stainless steel refrigerator, and as I look at my feet, I saw what appeared to be tiny roaches crawling from under this refrigerator towards my feet. I then look back at the back portion of the room and saw a huge cockroach crawling on the floor, then I woke up.

Minister Ewing! I know this is not a good dream and I know based on your teachings it is revealing the spirit of poverty but can you, if possible provide me with more assistance with giving more details concerning this dream.

Good day friend! I do agree with you in that it is clearly not a good dream and also the dream has revealed the spirit of poverty. Based on the contents of this dream, the two folks discussion about the college degree, the room is dimly lit, you nor being familiar with the home, are all pointing to a wicked conspiracy being concocted against you spiritually. However, the attack against you is particular, and that is an attack against your bank accounts, or anywhere you may have resources stored. Here is how I arrived at that conclusion. A refrigerator represents a place of storage, preservation or to maintain the condition of whatever is put in it at whatever state that it's in. The majority of these cockroaches are in this refrigerator crawling over the items in the refrigerator. Again the refrigerator represents your storage/savings as in a bank or wherever your resources are stored. Then the roaches which represent the spirits of poverty is openly attacking those stored resources. The question that should be asked is why were the two people in the dream not affected or found it strange that all of these cockroaches were on the floor and in the refrigerator? Clearly, these are all masquerading spirits attempting to distract you to not focus on the attack against you.

Like I repeatedly make mention of in all of my articles on dreams. Your dream is giving you "knowledge" that naturally you would have zero idea about. In other words, you were given a view from a spiritual perspective what is being set up against whatever monies or material good you have in the bank or whatever form of storage you may have your resources located.

My spiritual advice to you is based on Matthew 17:21, simply because of the amount and different sizes of cockroaches. You must immediately enter a fast this morning only for a day (no food no water) retrieve scriptures that speak against poverty and include these scriptures in your daily communication to God during this one day fast reminding him of his word. However, before all of what I have just mentioned, you must clothe yourself with the whole armor of God, and this is done by praying that armor on yourself, and this is found in Ephesians 6:11, 13-17. Always remember this war is spiritual, so do not waste your time as to who could be doing this to you. Instead, you are going after the root which will always be spiritual. In other words, attack the spirit realm with the word of God!

I come in spiritual agreement with you, and it is my prayer that God will disgrace the plans of the enemy and his human agents that are being attempted in your life. I speak to the spirit realm against the forces of evil working against you by declaring the word of God that says, "God will make perfect or complete all that concerns you in the mighty name of his son Jesus Christ" Psalm 138:8

There will always be haters, get use to it

Whatever it is that God has called you to do; I strongly suggest you do it. There are many that will oppose you as it relates to your ministry. However, you must always bear in mind that at the day of Judgment/Reckoning you will have to explain to the Creator of all things what did you do with the tools he gave you to accomplish the purpose he'd place you on the earth to do.

Trust me, everyone will have an opinion as it relates to your ministry and for the most part it will be negative. In fact, the folks that will challenge you, unfortunately will be those that claim to be on your team (Christians). Nevertheless, when we take a closer look at Jesus' Ministry it was never the sinner or Roman soldiers that challenged him, instead it was the Pharisees, Sadducee, scribes, Judas Iscariot, which were all, "fellow believers" and leaders of the church.

I would like to speak to that person tonight that feels hopeless, tired, inadequate, and wary by the negative comments of others but more importantly their fellow Christian brothers and sisters. First and foremost, those that challenges you or speaks negatively about your ministry, DID NOT CALL YOU TO MINISTRY! It is God and not nay Sayers that you will have to give an account to at the end of the day. Secondly, you should be more concerned about pleasing the one that sent you instead of those that knows very little of the Holy Spirit that resides in you and instructing you. Thirdly, relish on the fact that God is working through you to bring change in the lives of those around you.

I would use myself as an example, there are many that say, "Why is he always talking about witchcraft or spiritual warfare, dreams interpretation etc, why don't he talk about something else". My answer is simple, "Take it up with God". Secondly, spiritual warfare is my branch of ministry it is this ministry that I will be judged on. Thirdly, should I follow the instructions of mere mortals or God? And lastly, why am I a concern to you? Focus on your own ministry because you to will have to give an account.

Trust me on this, stay in the lane that God has called you to minister in, because the same folks that are attempting to discredit you or influencing you to change your ministry to what area they think you ought to be ministering in will continue to challenge you even if you set out to please them. Puppets allow the noise in the market to pull their strings. People of God focus on the next instruction of their journey from God and not man!

I am always amazed when I read emails from all over the world as to how some writing or teaching I did change the course of someone's life or made them look at things from a different prospective. Believe me, the devil and his human agents will come at you from every angle trying to convince you that you're wasting your time, God did not call you, people are not interested in what you have to say etc, etc.

I do not know who you are but you need to get back up on your horse and continue your journey to the finish line, focusing on the assignment that God has given you. Everyone has to give an account for the gifts God has outfitted them with, to do his will in the earth. How others decide to use their tools if they use them at all will have to be explained on the Day of Judgment.

Get up, refresh yourself and keep going forward for there are many souls frustratingly waiting what God has placed in you to bring about their deliverance.

"For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed" Romans 8:19.

A Little Can Tell You What a Lot Will Be Like

There is a saying that goes like this, "A LITTLE CAN TELL YOU WHAT A LOT WILL BE

LIKE"

Someone reading this note right now likely needs to hear it because they're receiving conflicting signals from a person, place, or thing they're contemplating making a permanent part of their life. Everything appears correct on the surface, but deep down, you sense that something isn't right.

I am here to tell you that the little you're being exposed to now is God's way of showing you that there is a lot more where that came from. In other words, you're dealing with a root. That means the signs you're being exposed to reveal the reality of what this person, thing, or environment is all about. The question for you is: are you prepared to live permanently with the excerpts you're currently being exposed to?

You have been asking God for insight into this confusing situation, expecting something big to happen as a sign to help you make the right decision. You have been getting signs all along in the little, consistent things you know full well you're not prepared to adapt to. Remove your emotions from the equation for a while, and I promise you that you'll see things for what they really are.

The scripture clearly states: "Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?" (1 Corinthians 5:6). My friend, attaching yourself to this person or situation is like inviting the very thing you dislike into your life. Your enemy is trying to trap you by suggesting you can manage or change what currently displeases you.

The Lord's message to you, my friend: choose to disconnect now!!!

You're Not Just Reaping a Saying, You're Reaping a Spiritual Law

Many times we're quick and eager to run to the aid of those who are quick to give their side of a story, a
story that always ends with them cast as the victim.

Surprisingly, we rarely ask God why this person is going through what they're going through. Instead, we buy into their sad story in our ignorance of the full story, without considering that they may be reaping what they have sown into the lives of others. Scripture warns us about this exact tendency:

"He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him." (Proverbs 18:17)

The first version of a story always sounds convincing, because it is the only version we've heard. Compassion without discernment makes us easy to persuade and slow to ask God for the part of the story we can't see.

Sowing and Reaping Is a Spiritual Law

Am I suggesting that people shouldn't be helped, despite what they've done to others? No. What I am saying is that neither you nor I can stop the law of sowing and reaping from running its course in their lives, no matter how much compassion we feel toward them. Scripture says:

"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." (Genesis 8:22)

God built this rhythm into creation itself, and it doesn't pause for our sympathy. Paul makes the same principle even more direct:

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

In other words, what you did to others was the planting of your seed. When someone does the same thing to you later, that is the harvest of what you sowed into someone else earlier. The seed doesn't forget who planted it, and the harvest doesn't ask your permission to arrive.

Helping People Without Excusing the Harvest

The bottom line is this: you can't go through life treating people any kind of way and expect a red carpet of goodness to be spread out for you in the future. Time has already calculated your assigned date to reap what you have sown, my friend. You can show someone mercy and still recognize that your mercy does not cancel the harvest coming to them from the seeds they planted elsewhere. Those are two different things, and confusing them is how we end up defending people against consequences that God Himself put in motion.

God Sees What Compassion Alone Can Miss

God will judge the oppressor, and in that day, there will be no one to save him. Isaiah described this same reality centuries ago:

"Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed, to turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless. And what will ye do in the day of visitation... to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?" (Isaiah 10:1-3)

Judgment is not ours to deliver. Vengeance belongs to God, not to us:

"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." (Romans 12:19)

That means our role is not to punish the oppressor ourselves, and it is also not to shield them from the harvest by refusing to see the truth. Our role is to help where God leads us to help, tell the truth about what we know, and trust God to settle the rest in His own timing.

Payday is coming for every unaddressed harvest. It always does.
