Understanding and combating the forces of Witchcraft! Part. 2

It is so unfortunate that so many Christians and non-Christians alike either do not believe in witchcraft or they are just so aloof as it relates to the reality of witchcraft.

Regrettably it is this type of misguided thinking that is the cause of many uninformed Christians and non-Believers alike that are either on mental medications, suffering in someway unnecessarily or occupying a plot in some cemetery.  Like scripture has stated, “My people perish due to a lack of knowledge”. The validity of this passage of scripture is evident in our churches when we compare the amount of Christians suffering and failing on a continuous bases, which I might add is just the evidence of what's really happening spiritually in their lives.

In my previous article I delicately explained that there are two types of witchcraft and they are physical witchcraft and spiritual witchcraft. Even though different in wording, the end result of both is to oppress and control its victims by implementing spiritual limitations on them so that they do not progress or advance physically in specific if not every area of their lives. During the course of my previous article I made mention of the Jezebel spirit that possesses a person, which in turn causes this person to become obsessed in trying to control the lives of others. Also I mentioned that anyone with this spirit is automatically oppressed or possessed by the spirit of witchcraft.

Today, I will discuss the spiritual aspect of witchcraft. The mechanics behind spiritual witchcraft in a nut shell is simply this, it is the process in which a person seeks spiritual means such as voodoo, Obeah, black magic hexes, spells etc. in an effort to place a curse on someone’s life. With this curse, which is spiritual, meaning you cannot see it, the person who has been cursed spiritually will begin to observe limitations and restrictions in their everyday life, that for the most part will make absolutely no sense at all. In other words this person who now has a spell or curse placed on them, can not prosper, can not excel, can not make progress. The bottom line, whatever the curse was sent to do, the results are evident in that person’s life, such as their finances, marriage, job, family etc.

For example let’s say someone has sent a curse of sickness at you. Well, this curse which in truth is a demonic force assigned to that person to mimic sickness such as cancers, diabetes, swelling of the legs etc. The evidence of this being the works of witchcraft is, if the victim decides to visit the Doctor, every test performed on that patient will show up negative even though the victim maybe displaying the symptoms of cancer, AIDS, Diabetes and the like. In actuality, things that are spiritual will not and can not show up on an x-ray machine an MRI machine or whatever tests the Doctors decide to perform.

The bible speak very candidly about the works of witchcraft, as a matter of fact this is why I become so confused as to why Pastors and teachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ down play or just simply neglect this vital topic that’s destroying the lives of so many of their congregation. Folks! Listen and read carefully, if you believe in God who is a spirit, then there must be an opposing (but not equal) force which we know to be Satan, who is responsible for the architect of witchcraft. However, our bible does warn us of those that insist on not believing the biblical documented accounts of witchcraft activity. “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost, whom the god (Satan) of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them”, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”, Hosea 4:6. In both scriptures it shows that unbelief and ignorance are the key factors in the destruction of those that refuse to educate themselves on such important and common matters.

Let us review a biblical account of how, when folks that are against you fail to hinder or disable you by physical means, such as attempting to control you, lying on you, setting physical traps for you etc. will seek spiritual means to bring about your demise. In the book of Numbers 21:21-35 it speak of two kings that rose up against the children of Israel. The names of these kings were Sihon, king of the Amorites and Og, king of Bashan. God gave Israel the victory of both kings and also caused Israel to possess their land,

Interestingly enough in the next chapter, Numbers 22:1-7, it clearly states that Balak the king of Moab and his people were sore afraid of the children of Israel, due particularly to the fact that the former two mighty kings and their armies fail to defeat Israel. Consequently, Balek immediately realize that he could not defeat Israel physically, therefore he resort to spiritual means. Balak understood like many practitioners of witchcraft today understands that if you can not defeat or control a person or a group by physical means, then the next stop is to curse them spiritually that will automatically disable or delay them physically. Scripture further records that Balak sent for Balaam, who in today’s world we would address as the Obeah man, witch Doctor etc. Balak sent message to Balaam saying, “Come now I pray thee and curse these people for they are too mighty for me, for if you curse them it will be easier for me to defeat them. I am aware Balaam, that whomever you curse is curse and whomever you bless is blessed” Numbers 22:6.

For those of you who are still swimming in the seas of unbelief and that, this biblical account has nothing to do wit witchcraft, then let us carefully scrutinize verse 7. In verses 7, it undoubtedly states that the Elders or Moab and the Elders Midian went seeking Balaam to give him the message of King Balak WITH THE REWARD OF DIVINATION! Wow! The word divination is defined as the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means.  In other words Balak sent a Divination reward as payment to Balaam witchcraft spell/curse that he wanted him to place over Israel.

My friend I am not saying to you, become obsessed with the fact that someone might have witchcraft on you, and surly I am not saying that you should become more of a believer of witchcraft than the power of God. Nevertheless, what I am saying is EDUCATE YOURSELF SPIRITUALLY as it relates to this very common practice, particularly in our churches. Not because you don’t believe in it means that it can not have an affect on you. In fact based on scripture, your unbelief will cause you to be a good candidate of its effect on you and eventually destroy you, according to 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 and Hosea 4:6.

The following are some of the signs that will indicate witchcraft in your life; are you having dreams of someone feeding you or you eating in the dream? Are you having dreams where you’re having sex with people or animals? Are you having dreams where you’re always fighting or running from someone? What about dreams of dead people, especially where you have dead folks either tying to give you a message or take you somewhere? What about dreams filled with; roaches, snakes, spiders, crab, dogs, demonic figures etc. All of these symbols could possibly indicate witchcraft activity in your life. In some case you can not remember your dreams at all.

A side from the dream indicators, the following indicators could also mean signs of witchcraft in your life; it’s difficult for you to sleep especially at night. You feel almost as if someone or something is tormenting you. You suffer from abnormal fear, you are easily irritated, you get angry for no reason always battling depression and loneliness, accompanied with fatigue and always feeling as if you lack energy. You feel a spider web like substance on your face, however there is no spider web present. You hear a buzzing sound around you ear, but again there is nothing there.

What about always being subject to accidents? Your car is always in the repair shop, something is always going wrong with someone or something in your home. Also, you feel as if you’re never making any progress. It feels as if your life is on hold or moving in slow motion. If you doze off for a few seconds it feels or you dream as if you’re falling from something. One of the most common signs is your inability to remember simple things and you’re lost of interest in life, your job, family etc. What about a particular bird or cats all of a sudden visiting your property and at night time is making strange sounds?

My friend please, it is no accident you are reading this article, God has answered your prayers and is now giving you the mystery to your misery. If you are experiencing these symptoms then it is clear you need that curse broken off of your life, you need to be delivered from the evil spell of witchcraft, if it is your desire to enjoy life and make progress.

Before I forget, there are specific dreams that will identify a specific curse on your life such as; if you are having dreams of roaches and rats or you’re wearing dirty torn clothing, well this represents a curse of poverty. If you are dreaming about having sex with someone other than your spouse, this represent a curse of being barren, meaning not able to have children or division in your relationship.

Make no mistake the power of God which is also the word of God is greater that any witchcraft activity or curse. Please, under no circumstances should you go to any spiritual advisor who is operating outside of the word of God or any person that practice witchcraft for relief. The reality is you will exchange your problem for an even greater problem.

When the average person hears the word witchcraft, they immediately think in terms of voodoo, black magic or some sort of dark evil spiritual forces. In other instances, one brings to mind dolls with pins inserted in it, grave yard dust, blood sacrifice, or different type of potions or spells.

In today’s teaching on this subject of witchcraft, we are about to venture into an area that is very prevalent in our society in particular our churches but is talked very little about.
Firstly, there are two types of witchcraft, however in both cases the results are the same and that is to ultimately have absolute control over a person, place, group or environment.

The first type of witchcraft is called spiritual witchcraft, and in this case the practitioner uses spiritual means to access the spirit world to control their victims, such as voodoo, Obeah, black magic, roots, sorcery, charisma, enchantment etc. The second type of witchcraft is what is known as Physical witchcraft. In this case the one using this type of witchcraft use the tools of Manipulation, intimidation and domination to control their victim’s mind that will result in controlling their victims physically. In fact this type of witchcraft is what we’ll be discussing today.

Now, let me make abundantly clear, anyone who has a controlling personality particularly to the point of obsession simultaneously possesses the spirit of witchcraft; for the most part they may not even be aware of it. Biblically speaking the term used for this controlling spirit/personality is referred to as the spirit of Jezebel. Jezebel as many of you would know was the wife of king Ahab of Israel according to the bible’s account. Jezebel literally ruled Israel during her husband’s reign by means of manipulation, intimidation and domination. I also want to make clear from the on set, that even though this controlling spirit is named Jezebel, it is not only reserved for women but it also inhabits men as well. As a side note a Jezebel spirit can not exist unless an Ahab spirit gives it permission, be it knowingly or unknowingly. An Ahab spirit is one who is in a place of authority, but their authority has been hijack or undermined by manipulation, intimidation and domination. In simple terms the one who has authority has become subject to the one they are suppose to have authority over.

You would find physical witchcraft normally in families, where you would have one member of a family ruling or dominating the majority of the family. In fact this family member is dislike by all but controlled by none. If you are not siding with this relative, then not only do you become an enemy to this relative but they see to it that every other family member dislike you also. Another sign of this Jezebel spirit is that they are always right and never wrong and if you’re not taking their advice then they would wish harm and speak evil to your ideas, plans of counsel. This spirit always makes you feel as if they’re protecting you from someone, when the truth is they are polluting your mind about that person so that you would equally hate that person, even though they haven’t done you anything. What I am about to say next will give rise to much controversy, but I am sure most of you reading this article who has ever had any encounter with a Jezebel spirit can relate to what I speaking of.

Sad to say I have discovered that there are quite a number of folks that profess Christianity that are saturated with this Jezebel spirit. In fact let’s pause here for a second, anyone who rules by means of manipulation, intimidation and domination has a Jezebel spirit and is in desperate need of deliverance, be it your Pastor, your Mother, Father, Boss, supervisor, Priest or even your children. When a child is told he/she can not have something and that child goes off in a tantrum, then it is crystal clear that this child is trying to rule that parent via manipulation and intimidation with the goal of dominating the parent to conform to their will (Well my bible tells me that foolishness is bound in the heart of a child but the rod will drive that foolishness far away, Proverbs 22:15). I strongly suggest you apply this method. Sex is the tool of choice for persuasion or influence when the Jezebel spirit wants to gain control. Make no mistake there is no real love but just a means to disable its victim to manipulate their authority.

Jezebel spirits detest authority and will refuse to be subject to any authority. Jezebel spirits always befriend folks with a well crafted plane to undermine someone in authority but after their goal has been achieved, the folks that they befriended earlier, this same Jezebel now turn on them and rule them with intimidation and domination. Jezebel spirits are great actors and actresses, meaning they know how to play with the emotions of others, especially when it comes to the fake tears, fake compassion and fake love. Again, whatever it is that they are doing the goal is to gain some headway or leverage and their act is a means of getting there. Jezebel spirits always act as if they’re the victim and they are gifted in the art of reversing an argument on their victim. For example, let’s say this person hurt you and you decided to confront them about it, the Jezebel spirit will immediately turn it around as if you hurt them, to the point where you find yourself apologizing to them instead of them apologizing to you. JEZEBEL SPIRITS NEVER APOLOGIZE…………

One of the most distinct sign of a Jezebel spirit is selfishness, this spirit isolates its victims and convinces their victim that they are the only one that cares for them, and it is only them that have their best interest at heart. When the victim buys into this undermining, the victim sees those close to them as their enemies, such as their parents, best friend, children etc. These victims literally transform into robots, only responding to the commands of their captors which are the Jezebel spirit. Believe me when I say to you Jezebel spirits are cruel, vindictive, spiteful and revenge seeking spirits. They never lose and will do anything to win which is inclusive of spiritual witchcraft. If you are involved with a jezebel spirit it's going to be very difficult to part their company without a fight. Prayer and fasting is your keys to victory which I will discuss with you next week.

Cursed People, Produce Cursed Relationships

Today, we will explore the topic of relationship curses. These teachings aim to give you a deeper understanding of how such curses can operate in a person's life, often covertly.

We often hear the word "blessings" from our pulpits so much that one must wonder, do curses even exist? Moreover, are we unknowingly involved with people or things that may be producing curses in our lives? Have you ever wondered why you and your partner just can't agree, or has your desire that was once reserved for your mate uncontrollably drifted off towards a former partner? And what about this one? You are willing to risk the security of your current relationship for a moment with a former partner who cannot provide for you?

Deuteronomy 28:15 warns that you will suffer from various curses if you don't follow God's commandments and statutes. These curses can be expressed wishes for evil or misfortune to befall a person, place, or object. They may come from supernatural sources like witchcraft or negative words spoken against someone. The bottom line is that curses can limit the potential of their victims until they are removed.

According to the Scripture above, a curse is brought about by disobeying God's commands and statutes. This implies that for someone to successfully curse or cast spells on another person, the victim must be violating God's laws, meaning there must be a spiritual opening in their lives.

Regarding relationships, each one has a purpose of preparing you for your ultimate relationship. Even if a past relationship didn't work out, there was still something important that you were supposed to learn from it. It's essential to remember that you should never bring the baggage of your previous relationships into your current one. Every new beginning deserves a fresh start, so it's crucial to let go of the past and start anew.

For your new relationship to stand a chance at success and a fresh start, you must destroy or remove all photos, letters, jewelry, clothing, or anything that brings the behavior, idea, or memory of your past relationship into your current relationship. Especially if the former relationship was sexually charged, abusive, deceitful, adulterous, frustrating, etc. The reason is that these items and people are now considered things accursed as they relate to your new relationship. Any presence of them will produce a repeat in your currently existing relationship with an end result of the division between the parties involved.

Let's look at what God instructed Moses to tell the children of Israel before they entered Canaan, the Promised Land. "Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, 'When you have crossed over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their pictures and molten images, and completely demolish all their high places.'" (Numbers 33:51-52)

The Scripture mentioned above suggests that to avoid repeating past mistakes, we must disassociate ourselves from certain aspects of our past. This is particularly important for individuals who are starting new relationships and may struggle with the desire to return to their former partners despite being treated poorly by them. This desire may be fueled by letters, cards, pictures, or other items exchanged between the parties during their previous relationship. As long as these items remain in their possession, they may negatively influence their current relationships, potentially leading to their downfall.

In the book of Joshua, God warned Joshua and his people about the city of Jericho. Everything in the city was considered cursed, and they were told to keep themselves away from the cursed things and people. Failure to do so would bring a curse upon themselves and their people. The Scripture from Joshua 6:18 reads, "And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it." It's interesting how holding onto items or people from past relationships can lead to trouble in current relationships.

It's interesting to note that Scripture does provide a solution to this. God informed the children of Israel that to remove the curse, the following must occur: "And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD and because he hath wrought folly in Israel." (Joshua 7:15). However, I do not suggest you burn your former mate with fire. Instead, it is recommended that you destroy all items and things obtained in that relationship by fire and discontinue all forms of communication with that person, such as texting, emails, voicemails, phone calls, WhatsApp, and so on.

Would your current relationship not be reaching its full potential because either you or your partner are still secretly interacting with former partners? Could the piece of jewelry from your ex-lover that you've never mentioned to your current partner be the cause of conflict in your relationship? Is it possible that the lingerie given to you by your former partner is the reason for your sexual dissatisfaction with your husband because it reminds you vividly of your ex and gives you a solid temptation to rekindle your relationship?

Dear friend, if you wish to have peace of mind and a healthy relationship, it is essential to remove any people or things from your life that bring you back into bondage with those whom God has released you from. Even things that are remotely related to them can invoke a curse on your relationship. This morning, God is speaking to you. You have prayed to God for understanding and a solution to the discord in your relationship. Please use the revelation that he has provided for you.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of his route guarantees him death Proverbs 16:25.

Are you under demonic Manipulation in your relationship?

I am sure the above topic will capture the attention of many—particularly those that can not make sense of the strange happenings they are continually experiencing in their relationship.

Witchcraft, voodoo, Obeah, hex, spells, curses, incantations, roots, etc. are all modern-day ingredients for manipulating relationships. Sad to say, folks who engage in such diabolical activity have absolutely no idea of the present and long term consequences that are associated with these evils.

Firstly, what is demonic manipulation? Demonic manipulation is where you have demonic forces heavily influencing your mind and spirit, to do things you would not ordinarily do. For the most part, these activities are initiated by someone casting spells or curses towards you or your relationship. Demonic manipulation can also be defined as the capturing of one's reasoning ability, forcing their victim to conform and subject themselves to the wishes and desires of their Manipulator. At the same time, the victim has zero understanding of what they're doing and has literally become a living puppet to their Manipulator. It is all a matter of the Manipulator placing the desired spell on their victim to achieve their desired results. As an initial sign, the victim becomes exceptionally defensive, always right, unreasonable, and passionately controlling. These signs are not gradual but very sudden and unexpected. It is almost as if you're dealing with a complete stranger.

Yes! I know the above understandings seem far fetched and just unreal. However, you would be amazed as to the massive amount of relationships that are controlled by such means, and I am sure some of the signs you've seen in others, if not yourself. One of the interesting things concerning folks under demonic manipulation is that there is no middle ground with them. Meaning, there is either intense love (not real love) or extreme hate. Also, those that are under such spells. Whatever it is that they are manipulated to do, they become desperate and obsessed with achieving it, to the point that everything else in their lives, even those critical, becomes secondary (such as family, finance, health, etc.). It is as if they have abandoned all forms of common sense and reasoning to pursue what is unequivocally clear to everyone else that death and destruction will become the conclusion of their erroneous decisions.

Scripture has provided clear insight as to what is really happening in such a case. Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other Matthew 6:24. Unfortunately for this person, they have successfully convinced themselves that everyone else is wrong concerning what is obviously wrong with them. It is only their own reasoning that they listen to (which is really the reasoning of evil spirits polluting their minds with everything that will destroy them eventually).

Just for a moment, think of yourself, your partner, or any relationship you're familiar with. Where someone in the relationship just abruptly without warning made the decision to abandoned their family, left home, and moved in with someone else, quit their job, and made a drastic decision without the other party's input and having no backup plan. What about your partner all of a sudden despising you, losing all forms of respect, affections, love, gentleness, consideration, and kindness towards you? My friend, these are all common signs of your partner and relationship being heavily attacked by demonic manipulation.

Some folks believe they would be a better fit with the things you have. For example, they think they should be with the person you're with. Hence, they've resorted to evil means to bring division in your union with the ultimate goal of bringing about indefinite separation and complete devastation to your once-happy life. Demonic manipulation makes you look away from what is obviously right and embrace what is wrong, again with the ultimate goal of destroying its victim. I want to make clear that demonic manipulation is not only reserved for relationships-but can spread its tentacles in every area of a person's life.

Whoever and wherever you are this morning, let me say to you that this is your day to be set free from years of mental slavery from the powers of demonic manipulation. God wants to emancipate you, your spouse, family members, and friends from the shackles of manipulation so that you can live a free and enjoyable life.

Ask yourself, "Am I really free?" In other words, are you doing what you genuinely want to do with your life or relationship, or is there someone or something influencing you to such a degree that you have literally become a slave to 99.5% of their desires and only .5% of yours. Now ask yourself, "Is this fair to me?" Well, let us referrer to the mentioned scripture Matthew 6:24, which says, "A man can not serve two masters for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other." The keyword in this text is the word, either. Suggesting that despite the influence on him, he is still the one making a choice to serve one of the masters.

So, why don't you make the choice today and sincerely as God to unshackle your mind and remove the scales off your eyes? Ask him to forgive you of any door you might have left open or unattended spiritually, that gave this evil the legal right to enter your life. Continue by asking God to assist you in restoring your home, marriage, relationship, job, or whatever it is that you've been manipulated out of. For the word declares that we can do nothing without him and that we can do all things through him who strengthens us, John 15:5, Philippians 4:13.

Finally, from this day forward, begin to continually believe and behave as if you are free from demonic manipulation. Every time you pray, outfit yourself with the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, 13. This armor is the spiritual suit that will cause you to stand against the schemes, tricks, manipulation, and games of the Devil.

Heavenly Father, please have mercy upon the readers of this article and release them indefinitely from the powers of darkness and manipulation. Cause them to see what they could not see before, and that is freedom and life which your son Jesus Christ died for; we ask these things in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!

The Mimicking Spirit.

Everyone has, at some time or another, experienced a relationship in which the person they initially met has so much in common with them. In fact, they were convinced that they had met their soul mate due to the similarities and coincidences they had experienced. Surprisingly, once the relationship has begun, everything abruptly changes, and it now appears as if they're in a relationship with the Devil himself as opposed to who they thought was their soul mate.

The above scenario is the most common occurrence in the average relationship. The purpose of the source perpetrating this act is to mislead its victim into believing something that really doesn't exist and, at best, to keep this individual who truly desires a genuine relationship with the person God has ordained for them and at least to delay or hinder them in their search for their chosen mate. Thus, I want to teach today about the source and root of this evil, and the source and root of this evil is known as a "mimicking spirit."

Mimic is imitating or copying in action, speech, behavior, etc. It also means to impersonate, imitate, or simulate. The general idea is to be or become something that one is certainly not.

Interestingly enough, there is nothing new about this spirit; like I said earlier, its mission is to mislead its victim but, more importantly, to make its victim focus entirely on what appeases their five senses. This makes the victim utterly ignorant of the spiritual forces that have blinded them physically from the obvious; consequently, the victim succumbs to the likeness of what appears to be accurate and not the true nature of what it really is.

So let us look at a biblical scenario to bring about spiritual clarity. "And one of the multitudes answered and said, Teacher, I have brought unto you my son, who has a dumb spirit" Mark 9:17. Usually, we would read this text and think nothing of it, but there is a revelation here. The revelation here is the man did not say his son was dumb. Instead, he said that his son has a dumb spirit. Suggesting that there was a spirit in his son that mimicked the behavior of a genuinely dumb person. At the same time, giving others the impression that the boy was really dumb.

Another example of this would be found in Luke 13:10-17. In this particular story, there was a woman that was cripple to the average person observing her. However, Jesus said in verse 11 that this woman has a "spirit of infirmity." Again, suggesting that there was really nothing wrong with this woman. However, this spirit in her has been mimicking the behavior of a cripple person for 18 years. In both cases, the root of these people's behavior was that of a spirit and not the actual person; wow!

Someone you have allowed into your life that seemed to be the perfect mate or friend, but if you carefully take note spiritually your entire time with them, you would discover that they have either been observing and learning you from a distance or they have attentively and skillfully listen to you (as it relates to what you desire in a person or a mate) and has become whatever it is that you verbally released to them. Fortunately, this spirit that inhabits that person can only mimic for so long; in short order, it will show its ugly head. Here are some of the signs to look for to conclusively identify this spirit:

• Bipolar type personality
• Extremely moody
• Selfish
• Always anxious to know more about their victim from their victim
• Appear to be very passionate and overly concern
• Very controlling
• Very crafty and deceitful
• Abnormally secretive, releasing very little information about themselves
• Once their objective has been achieved, they immediately lose interest in their victim.
• Love playing the victim role if it appears as if they'll be discovered
• Extremely catering and sensitive initially but always with an ulterior motive
• Have absolutely no problem moving on to the next relationship to begin their vicious heartless diabolic cycle all over again, simultaneously leaving destroyed lives behind with zero remorse for their victims.

These are but a few of the obvious signs to identify this crafty spirit that has misled so many and has also been the cause of so many folks' bitterness and inability to trust others anymore. I know some of you reading this right now are in complete shock because you thought your case was an isolated incident.

My advice to you, my friend, is, firstly, people are rarely what they present themselves to be, especially if their motives are evil. The truth is the best of us; occasionally, we pretend to be something or someone we're not. Therefore it is our responsibility to do our homework concerning these people, research, and ask questions about their character. Secondly, because this evil is of a spiritual nature, it has to be addressed spiritually. Therefore take this opportunity and ask God to give you a spirit of discernment so that you can see beyond what your five senses are dictating to you that, for the most part, will pan out to be erroneous.

Finally, every one of us has the God-given ability to detect in our spirit when something is not right with the spirit of others. In our conversations with others, we always say, "My spirit doesn't take to him/her" sounds familiar? At that moment, your spirit attempts to give you a heads-up to pending danger; 99.9% of the time, this heads-up is usually correct. As evidence of this, scripture says, "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save or except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God" 1 Corinthians 2:11.

Heavenly Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ we command every mimicking spirit to expose themselves openly now! We also command in the name of Jesus that this spirit not only becomes confused with their diabolical plans but that it would leave its host indefinitely and that the spiritual eyes of its victim be open spiritually In the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Spiritual Captivity

Captivity is the state of being captured, imprisoned, detained, or held against one's will. In all cases, the one held captive is being held or arrested by some physical means such as prison cells, handcuffs, shackles, chains, fetters, or even another person.

I needed to expand on the definition of captivity because of our teaching today on spiritual captivity. I promise you that this teaching would cause you to re-evaluate the cause of your present state and make the necessary adjustments to appreciate where you are and why you are not where you would want to be.

Even though captivity is defined as the state of being captured, there exist two types of captivity: the captivity that we see and the one that we don't see. The unseen captivity can be quite challenging and frustrating due to our inability to see what keeps us from progressing and succeeding. There is nothing visible or presented as evidence of this imprisonment or detention, which we know we're in because of our lack of progress.

I am sure by now you must have figured out that spiritual captivity is the state of being captured without any tangible, physical, or material evidence of that captivity. However, your life displays all and more of the signs and evidence of one that has been detained or imprisoned due to your inability to succeed or make progress.

Firstly, being imprisoned, detained, or captured restricts or limits one of their freedoms. Better yet, they can see success, freedom, joy, peace, and all things good they desire but do not possess the ability to achieve because of the obvious; they are being restrained or held against their will.

In the book of Job 42:10, my attention was without delay arrested when I read the following statement, "And the Lord turned the captivity of Job." This raised eyebrows because nowhere in the book of Job have I read or seen any evidence or anything remotely close to even suggesting that Job was being physically held against his will. After all, in essence, the meaning of captivity is to physically restrain one against their will.

So if Job was not being held against his will by any physical means, what prevented him from achieving or succeeding like any normal human being? To understand this incredible revelation clearly, let's look at one of the Apostle Paul's statements to the church of Corinth. "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal" 2 Corinthians 4:18.

The Apostle made it crystal clear that being physically attacked, restrained, or challenged is far better than being spiritually attacked, restrained, or challenged. At least physically, you can see what is attacking you, and now you have an opportunity to set up some sort of defensive mechanism. On the other hand, spiritual attacks and challenges completely blindside you, leaving you confused and frustrated because you are at a loss as to the origin of this attack.

So, let's go back to the beginning of Job's dilemma to ascertain the clarity of his captivity that was by non-physical means. The bible states that one day the sons of God presented themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. The Lord began to inquire of Satan if he had noticed his servant Job and how perfect he was on the earth? Satan revealed something so interesting in his response to God, which speaks to spiritual things or things that we can't see but very much do exist.

Satan said, "Have not thou not made a hedge about him, and about his house, and all that he has on every side? Job 1:10. Hedge? What hedge is Satan talking about? Now, as a reminder, God and Satan are both spiritual beings able to see in the spiritual and physical world. So Satan revealed what he saw around Job and all that concerned him. He saw in the spirit realm an invisible barrier that served mainly two purposes 1) to prevent all weapons that or will ever be formed against Job from prospering and 2) to protect, sustain and maintain all that is on the inside of the hedge such as Job's blessings, talents, gifts, children, properties, etc. As an insert here, every human has been outfitted with this hedge, and this hedge can only be removed under two conditions. 1) In Job's case, God removed his hedge, and 2) Man's disobedience to God's word breaks the hedge, allowing the enemy to get in Ecclesiastes 10:8.

I hope you are taking note, Christians, because this is where most of us are. Job's life is now about to take a dramatic turn in events when God had decided to remove this invisible hedge and gave Satan power over everything that Job had. Satan being given power over Job suggests he had authority and dominion over him, meaning Job is no longer the head, nor is he no longer above but beneath.

Question! Could it be that where you are in your life right now, no money, bills are overdue, kids are sick, pains and diseases have invaded your body, marriage is a disaster, your job is the pits, being unemployed, and the list goes on. You have prayed consistently, fasted over and over again, sent in monetary seeds to different ministries for that miracle or breakthrough, and ABSOLUTELY nothing has happened. As a matter of fact, things are getting worse, and you feel God is ignoring you. Could it possibly be God has removed your hedge and allowed Satan to have power over all that you have so that you can be introduced to the real you? Or could it be your opposition to God's rules has placed you in your current position?

Whatever the case, maybe you have indeed met the qualifications for these events in your life. The word of God clearly states that God will not put more on you than you can bear. When he removed your hedge and allowed you to be spiritually caged by Satan, he knew you were and can handle what you are experiencing and, in the case of others, about to experience. At this point, there is no prayer or fasting that can help you. No human being can assist you. Just like Job's friends, they could not help him because God has designed it In such a way that no one or nothing can assist you. YOU HAVE TO WALK THIS ONE OUT ALONE! It is a part of your destiny with a tremendous reward for your patience and faithfulness, as you will read later.

Yes! Just like you, I am tired of the God will bless you; God has something better for you; God only chastises those whom he loves, and the all too famous one, your breakthrough is right around the corner. The truth is these folks telling us these things are very much correct! However, we have no choice but to comprehend that this God we said is always good. All the time he is good is the same one who has given permission to our adversary to spiritually cage us, which has resulted in us not being able to increase and succeed physically due to us being imprisoned spiritually.

Again, like Job's friends, some are convinced that there is sin in your life, or your wicked ways are catching up with you, or there must be something you have done wrong! I am here to say to you today you have done nothing wrong or at least deserve the pain and suffering that you are going through

Again, Job, just like so many of us, has been placed in spiritual captivity. This captivity is the worst of its kind because our hedges have been removed, allowing those weapons that were and are being formed against us to now prosper. Also, what the hedge once protected, sustained, and maintained, has now become disabled. As a result, you lose the home, car, family, Job, opportunities, basically everything, but hold on, this is not the end. As a matter of fact, this is the beginning of something new. Something if patiently endured will supersede your greatest expectation. Scripture tells us that Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men, what God has PREPARE FOR THOSE THAT LOVE HIM. This scripture is speaking to a select group, and that group is those that love God. Question! Do you still love God despite your losses, disappointments, broken marriage, frustration, and the reoccurring bad things that have been happening in your life that seemingly have no end?

Scripture reveals that after Job was informed of his losses, including that of his ten children, he arose, tore his clothes, shaved his head, dropped to the ground, and worshiped. How does one do that in the face of such difficulty? Only those God has chosen to walk a particular road, and simultaneously these same people value and appreciate their God above anything else in this world. As proof of this, Job said, "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and it is he that has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord" wow!

Every time I read Job's statement after his losses, especially concerning the death of his children, I am almost moved to tears to see this man's commitment and resilience amid so much grief and agony. After discovering this truth of spiritual captivity, I realized that there is absolutely nothing one can do about this state other than praying for patience and endurance. My mind began to gravitate to the scripture that admonishes us to do precisely what Job did, and that is, "In everything give thanks, for this is the WILL of GOD in Christ Jesus concerning us 1Thessalonians 5:18. It is a must that I make unequivocally clear that the word "everything" means the good and evil and not just the good as most Christian has been led to believe.

Finally, as we've read earlier, the same God that caused him to be in spiritual captivity was the God that turned or released Job from his spiritual captivity and gave him double what he originally had. The bottom line is that you do not have the privilege of suggesting what road God should assign you. All lanes have been determined before the foundation of the world. You just have to patiently wait until God decides to turn your captivity. However, he's promised you that if you delight yourself in him, he'll give you the desires of your heart Psalms 37: 4.

Heavenly Father, your works, ways, and thoughts are far beyond our understanding. You've said in your word that as far as the heavens are from the earth, so are your ways and thoughts different from ours. This is the case, Father, because I know there is no compromise regarding your word. I pray that you furnish the readers of this article with a supernatural ability to be patient in enduring the assigned time of their spiritual captivity in the matchless and marvelous name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Bewitched!

“O foolish Galatians who had bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ had been evidently set forth crucified among you Galatians. 3:1.”

These are the words written by the Apostle Paul, in his letter to the church of Galatia. In his letter he used the word bewitched to convey the understanding that the Galatian church had been mislead or placed under some kind of spell in order to cause them to do or believe things that they would not normally agree with, particularly after being witnesses of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. 

In our teaching today it is my desire to bring to you this very scenario of being bewitch in everyday living. How it is used as a common tool for control, the science behind it and its affect.

During the seventies there was a popular TV series called bewitched, where Elizabeth Montgomery who played Samantha, a witch in the show, could not resist using her spells or her ability to bewitch others to gain control only to make things turn out the way she desired, totally ignoring the will and desires of others to achieve her objectives.

Now, what does the word bewitch mean? The word bewitch mean to Cast a spell on and gain a magical control over someone or to captivate someone completely without physical restraints. So, if being bewitch does not require physical restraints, then how can a sound minded person be brought under the power or control of another, through the means of being bewitched?

Well, in order to understand this, you must first understand that the process of bewitching requires complete and total deception, meaning convincing one to believe something that is not true. At the same time it requires the victim’s participation by entertaining the one who is unknowingly bewitching them.

An example of this would be as follows: a man is in love with his wife and family, all of a sudden he becomes friendly with a female co-worker that he’s attracted to but, because of his marital commitment he keeps his distance. However she feels the same way about him and pursues him, having zero respect for his commitment to his wife and family. She now expresses her love for him, saying to him how handsome and strong he is etc. He now entertains her and becomes captivated by her and begins to do things that he would not do under normal circumstances. The plot thickens by him leaving his wife and children and moving in with this woman and her children. Neglecting his financial commitments and responsibilities that he is obligated to perform with his family. Not to mention him, faithfully financially providing for the other woman and her children while his wife and children suffers. Is this guy crazy? No! He’s been bewitched, meaning that there is a spirit of control over him manipulating him to believe something that is not true; to the point his family becomes the sacrifice for his lustful desires.

What happened to this man who was once in love with his family? Well, the later part of this man is not the same man that we spoke of originally and I will prove it. In the book of Proverbs 6:32 it reads, “whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul”. Now let’s break this scripture down so we can get a clearer understanding of what is actually being said here.

This scripture explains the spiritual aspect behind this type behavior. It starts by revealing to us that when one breaks a command of God in this case adultery, he is not aware of the sequence of events that will take place over a period of time. If you’ve notice the text did not say he who engages in adultery, instead the word commit is used which means to pledge, bind, obligate or become dedicated to something or someone.

Scripture further reveals that this consistent violating of God’s law, again, in this case adultery is destroying his soul. One’s soul involves their feelings, thoughts; mind etc. basically the administrator of their body. So if his soul is being destroyed, you can now understand why this once sensible man becomes impaired in his judgments and decision making.  His innocent entertaining of this lady that he initially knew was not good for him, somehow convinced him of a lie which he clearly accepted opening the door for not only the spirit of adultery but also deception, soul ties, mood swings, lying, being irresponsible and the list goes on.

Eventually these spirits take over, especially if this couple is active in their adulterous act (transferring of spirits). The end result for this man is he has becomes an entirely different person. For lack of a better word he has becomes a fool! To the point that “when” not if this lady has affairs on him he somehow reasons it out in his mind and eventually accepts it only in an effort to sustain and maintain in his mind this false relationship where he unknowingly is being manipulated.

This scenario is played out in all sectors of our society; unfortunately it frequently ends in divorce, violence, broken homes and sometimes even death. It usually ends this way because those that address it, addresses it from a natural or physical stand point, believing that they can beat sense into the person or try public humiliation to bring about a change of heart. NEWS FLASH YOU CAN NOT BEAT SENSE INTO A SPIRIT, OR EVEN HUMILATE THAT SPIRIT.

Until you address the source which is the spirit that is influencing that person and not the person themselves, you are in fact fighting a losing battle, in which you are guaranteed failure as your end result. In the book of Mark 1:22-26 Jesus encountered a man in the synagogue that had an unclean spirit. The text goes on to say, “And he cried out, let us alone what have we to do with thee thou Jesus of Nazareth?” Many folks miss this and believe that the man cried out, instead it was the unclean spirit in the man speaking through the man. As proof of this the text further states the unclean spirit said what have “we” to do with thee, which is additional evidence that not only is it one spirit speaking but numerous spirits.

The Apostle revealed in his letter to the Ephesian Church this revelation, “For we wrestle/fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places (all four groups being spiritual).

So what am I saying to you my readers? STOP FIGHTING THE PERSON AND BEGIN FIGHTING THE SPIRIT THAT IS INFLUENCING OR HAVE BEWITCHED THE PERSON. That person is under a nasty deceiving spell that they’re not even aware of. This will take more than just your average prayers, because as I’ve explained already you are dealing with a host of evil spirits. Jesus said this kind comes out only through prayer and fasting Matthew 17:21.

Prayer and fasting is the only successful solution because prayer and fasting does the following:

• Break the bands of wickedness
• Undo heavy burdens
• Set the captives free
• Break every yoke
• Restores health quickly
• Causes one understanding to break forth as the morning

These are all the positive results of a genuine fast according to Isaiah 58:6,8. in an effort to get rid of “THIS KIND”.

Heavenly father thank you for giving me the keys to the kingdom, I now bind the prince of the power of the air that rules over these unclean spirits that have bewitched folks to commit habitual sins. I bind the prince of darkness and the power of darkness in Jesus name. I now, by your authority loose these people and break the pad locks off their spiritual cages in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
