Dreams of yourself Climbing a mountain or hill represents struggles and hardship. Dreaming of
yourself going up an elevator but the elevator all of a sudden stops; such a dream is indicating that the spirit of anti-progress has been let loose in your life and is fighting your advancement and promotion.

Dreaming of being push down a stair case or walking down a stair case is indicating demotion the dream will have the same meaning if you're traveling down an elevator.

If you have had dreams where you saw yourself walking backwards in a dream then the dream is revealing that a spirit of backwardness is attached to your life.

Dreaming of heavy weights being attached to your legs is indicating that someone is attempting to slow your progress or hinder your advancement.

Dreams where you are at your former residence especially your child hood home, represents the spirits of setback and delay in your life.

Dreams where you see yourself writing an exam but either you never finish the exam in the dream or you fail the exam, then the dream is revealing the spirits of defeat and failure is running rampant in your life and you must unseat these spirits with the fire of God!

Dreaming of cats especially black cats represents witches and monitoring spirits sent to monitor your life to plan future attacks against you. You must command spiritual blindness to all monitoring spirits sent to your life.

Dreams where you are cursing your spouse, these dreams are very manipulative, such dreams mean that you are in fact placing curse on yourself. As a reminder, marriage has made you and your wife one in the eyes of the Lord. So if you are cursing your wife in the dream you are indeed cursing yourself.. Rebuke this dream immediately!

Darkness in a dream represents ignorance and evil presence. If you dream that you are in a hospital but not as a patient then the dream is revealing that you are called to the healing ministry.

If you are having dreams where you saw your partner kissing someone else in the dream especially if the dream is repeating itself, then the dream is indicating betrayal, cheating, infidelity in the relationship.

If you are repeatedly having dreams about your partner being in bed with yourself and someone of the opposite sex or even same sex then the dream is revealing that either you or your partner has a spirit of perversion. Such a dream can also be indicating that uncertainty with either one or both persons in the relationship.

The color black in a dream would always represent something negative, such as ignorance, poverty. famine, sickness, disease etc.

Masquerading spirits in your dreams

For the record, Satan and his demons/evil spirits have the legal right to transform themselves into
different people and things. In fact they are permitted to do so via spiritual law. This is another spiritual law that one needs to take note of when attempting to make sense of their dreams.

Here is what scripture has to say about this spiritual law of transformation as it relates to Satan and his demonic agents,

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works", 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

With the above understanding in mind, you must pay special attention to your dreams when it comes to folks that you are familiar with in your dreams. The job of a masquerading spirit is to manipulate and deceive the dreamer while planting spiritual evil seeds in the life of the dreamer. Masquerading spirits will always attempt to secure the trust of the dreamer by pretending to be someone the dreamer is familiar with. This is common in the case of a dreamer dreaming about deceased love ones. Always keep at the fore front of your mind that a masquerading spirit will always be seeking the agreement of the dreamer or establishing evil covenants with the dreamer to bring about evil manifestations in the dreamer's life.

So, that person that you thought was your deceased Mom, Dad, brother/sister etc. in your dream were in fact masquerading spirits. Now, any interaction with those spirits that appear to be your deceased love ones will spell trouble for the dreamer. Scripture is clear when it said the following about the dead,

"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." Eccl. 9:5-6 also, “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God" Leviticus 19:31 and Deut:18:11. Necromancers are folks that claim to speak to the dead.

Aside from this, masquerading spirits can disguise themselves as a close friends and make it appear as if your close friends are operating against you. Again, such dreams can be highly deceptive so in order to decipher if these are masquerading spirits, look for give away signs such as the person that appears to be your friend would barely show their face in the dream. in other words you'll be exposed to just a glimpses of their face.

Another sign, this person that appears to be your friend would be doing or saying something in the the dream that you know your friend would either not say or behave in such a way. Another sign, what appears to be your friend in the dream would either look taller, shorter, fatter than your friend is in reality. Another sign, this masquerading spirit dress code would be totally off from what you know your friend would wear in reality.

Trust me when I say to you that I have seen great friendships and relationships brought to an end simply because of a dream that the dreamer thought was the lord revealing the evil secrets of the dreamer's friend. It would only be when the dreamer and myself would go through the dream with a fine tooth comb that we were able to unfold the deception of the dream that caused the dreamer their relationship.

A Deeper Understanding Of Sexual Dreams

To be successful or a winner at anything, there must be a concentrated effort in discovering.
Or making oneself knowledgeable of the rules, laws, and principles that govern whatever it is that they intend to dominate.

I used the word dominant because to win or succeed at anything literally means dominating or master the rules, principles, and laws that it's governed by.

In today's teaching on dreams, we are about to unearth the revelation behind the mystery as to why certain matters in our lives are still challenging us even after much prayer, fasting, and coming in agreement with others, etc.

A friend of mine was very much frustrated in regards to some negative behavioral patterns that were resurfacing back into her life that she was fully aware were generational curses. To her amazement, she believed that these generational curses were done away with based on the intense prayers and fasting with the absence of those negative patterns. Before I go any further with this spiritual insight, many Believers of Jesus Christ have and are currently experiencing these same frustrations. They cannot understand how it is that after following the spiritual protocols laid out in scripture, they are once again oppressed by the same set of problems and situations. Some of them are even wondering if Satan's power is greater than the power of God or what could possibly be the explanation for having to deal with the same old situation again.

In an attempt to probe the source of my friend's vexing situation, I asked her if she can recall any of her dreams that she had experienced lately or during the time all of this vicious cycle had resurfaced in her life. As with most folks that I ask these questions to, they can not correlate a dream with their ongoing circumstances. Unfortunately, this is where their problems begin; and unfortunately, this is also where they lack knowledge in this vital area. She began to reveal a series of dreams that she thought had no significance or relationship with her situation. In these dreams, she's always having sexual relations with "her husband" to add to this, her husband is never acting or behaving how she knows her husband behaves in reality. A small portion of these dreams was with other people who she did not know. As far as she was concerned, her husband's dreams were good because it was "her husband" and not another person she was having sexual relations with.

I told her that the person in her dream that appeared to be her husband was not her husband. Of course, she found this difficult to believe. I further explained that due to these dreams being unchallenged by her, the generational curses she thought were once dealt with have now come to re-establish themselves via her dream to reintroduce those vicious cycles in her life.

Scripture says to us: " When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so, shall it be also unto this wicked generation“, Matthew 12:43-45?

Based on the above scripture, even though an evil spirit/s can be evicted from its human host, if conditions are not being maintained to keep them out, they can return. In fact, this particular spiritual law was being played out in my friend's life. Now, let's look at a few spiritual laws used by these evil spirits to dominate the dreamer's life in re-introducing these generational curses. The first law is 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, and here is what it says, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." These masquerading spirits have transformed themselves into her husband's image to gain the trust of the dreamer. This particular spiritual law reveals to us that Satan, along with his agents, can mimic, masquerade, and impersonate people. Thus, what appeared to be my Friend's husband was an evil spirit!

Secondly, scripture says to us, “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way” Matthew 13:25.

Now, let's put all of the pieces together. My friend did not know that the person pretending to be her husband in her dream was, in fact, an evil spirit masquerading as her husband. As a result, this evil spirit, which represents generational curses, decided to have sexual relations with my friend, whom she again thought was her husband. Sexual relations in a dream symbolizes "AGREEMENT OR COVENANT." My friend never resisted this spirit (disguised as her husband). Thus agreement via sexual relations unknowing to her was re-establishing the covenants of generational curses that were once addressed and dealt with. I want to make clear that everything that was taking place in my friend's dream was spiritual. If not interrupted via canceling such a dream, then it is automatic for physical manifestation to occur. Lastly, all of this was achieved by the enemy planting these evil seeds in my friend's dream, which I have repeatedly taught and, that is your dreams are spiritual, and the spirit world is the origin of all things. Thus evil spirits manipulate the dreamer from the spirit realm (their dreams) and seek covertly the agreement of their human victims to bring about the physical manifestation of their evil seeds planted in our dreams.

If you have had experiences with sexual dreams. I can assure you that these dreams usually come from a pending breakthrough for the dreamer or to re-establish evil covenants that were previously broken. Such dreams must be met with prayer and fasting because the enemy has sent everything in his camp to either stop your pending blessing or re-establish his chains of oppression in your life.

As a reminder, scripture clearly says, "Therefore my people are gone into captivity (bondage, imprisonment, incarceration, limitations, and restrictions) because they have no knowledge" Isaiah 5:13. However, we are also advised that it will be because of knowledge that the just shall be delivered: Proverbs 11:9.

Spiritual robbers in your dreams

I had a gentlemen approached me sometime ago who was very much perplex concerning some
dreams that he was experiencing from time to time.

In his dreams, he dreamt that an apartment complex that he owned in reality was inhabited by tenants that did not live in the apartment complex in reality. What was even more interesting about these dreams were the fact that these tenants faces were either always blurred, unable to be seen or had a disfigured like appearance.

The gentlemen went on to reveal that in one of the dreams concerning his apartment complex he visited the property to make sense of who these strange folks were and who gave them permission to occupy his property. In his attempt to retrieve this information he was met with great range and anger by the occupants who basically forced him off of his own property. In another dream concerning this same property, this gentlemen said that he saw a family moving into one of the apartments. Out of amazement and curiosity he approached the wife and asked her what was she doing and who gave her permission? He said, the lady said to him in a very calm and smooth voice, "I will pay you at the end of the month". Again, the face of this lady was blurred.

In another dream, the dreamer said that he saw his apartment complex being renovated. Again, he was confused because there were absolutely no renovations being done to his apartment complex in reality. He decided to enter one of the apartments to get a closer look , he ended up in the kitchen area. In looking through the kitchen window, he saw a vehicle pulled up directly in front of the apartment complex and a heavy set black lady came out of the vehicle wearing a two piece great suit, she entered the apartment and walked directly into the kitchen where he was located. The lady whose face he could not make out due to the lady intentionally moving in a way so that he could not see her face and also her face appearing to be blurred. The lady began cooking and explaining to the gentleman how she's a Christian and so on, almost as if to distract the gentleman, dream ended.

Now, before I provide the interpretation of his dream, the gentleman made it clear to me that during the course of these dreams some strange things in reality were going on with his apartment complex that just did not make natural sense. For example, the toilets in all of the units would over flow with water for no reason at all. The kitchen appliances would not work from time to time even though they were new appliances. Strange noises such as cracks and weird sounds would be hear in the roof and closets, particularly at night. All of a sudden there was an infestation of roaches and rats that began to surface throughout the complex even after the pest company had made many visits to rid the complex of these pest. Also, strange cats and birds would appear, again only at night on his property making strange noises and resting at a particular spot on the property. The utility bill for the apartment complex utility room would be astronomical high even though the new washer and dryer would seldom work. Simply put there were problems after problems with this complex but none of the problems seem to be natural. Finally, his tenants all left the apartment complex. Now here is where it becomes even more interesting, this gentleman could not get anyone to rent any of his units neither could he get anyone to purchase the apartment complex even after everything was repaired. Eventually his apartment went into foreclosure and he lost his apartments.

Friends, such dreams are common with folks who are being robbed spiritually by spiritual robbers in the spirit realm. Spiritual robbers are demonic spirits or evil spirits that rob the spiritual blessings of their human victims. I have mentioned in quite a number of my articles on dreams that all things that are visible and invisible has its origin in the spirit world/spirit realm. Of course this is validated by Ephesians 1:3, which says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with "ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS" in heavenly places (spirit world) in Christ." With that said, it is widely and clearly understood by those that understands spiritual laws that governs spiritual warfare that if they intent to be successful physically or even fail physically, then the conception of failure or success must have been conceived or achieved from the realm that is not visible to us which is known as the spirit realm simply because this is where the origin if all things begin.

Therefore, being aided with this spiritual principle, spiritual robbers attack and rob the spiritual blessing of their human victims which scripture said God has already blessed us with in heavenly places or in other words the spirit realm. So, the gentleman dreams were revealing where he was being robbed spiritually by spiritual robbers in the spirit realm which automatically secured losses or destruction for their human victims material possessions in the natural. I will take it a step further with this spiritual revelatory insight. The occupants of this gentlemen's apartment that he saw in his dream were the spiritual robbers responsible for the strange happenings that were going on with his apartments such as the plumbing problems, appliance malfunctions abnormal bills etc. They were also the ones responsible for the real life tenants just abruptly leaving the complex and further causing the complex not to be rented or even sold and eventually caused the gentleman's property to go into foreclosure. In addition the cats and birds were actually monitoring spirits observing the progress of this man's losses b y whomever has assigned this misfortune to his life.

This explains why the apostle Paul said to the church of Corinth, " While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal"  2 Corinthians 4:18. You see my friend, like I have been saying, our dreams are spiritual and things that are spiritual can not be physical seen. However, the apostle Paul who had a clear understanding of the spiritual realm and the laws that govern it had revealed to us that it is this area that we aught to be concentrating our efforts on simply because this is where all things are conceived and earth is the area where it's manifested.

In this gentlemen's case he was ignorant as to what was being revealed to him from  a spiritual perspective in his dream thus, he saw no need to cancel or challenge his dream (you can not fight what you do not know exist). Therefore, as a result of him not cancelling or challenging his dreams, then by default his dream manifested, meaning because he was robbed spiritually it was automatic that he would suffer losses physically.

There are many of you reading this article right now who can probably relate to such a dream. You've had dreams where you've seen strange, unrecognizable men, women or even strange creatures either attacking you, destroying your property, taking possession of your property etc or your house, car or any of your real life material possessions going missing in your dreams. These dreams are revealing that your spiritual blessings are being challenged by demonic forces also known as spiritual robbers. Such dreams must be met with violent prayers  saturated with the word of God upon waking from the dream. As a side note, we later discovered as a result of other dreams that this gentlemen had concerning his former property that someone worked witchcraft against his property. In other words evil spirits were released by some folks that were extremely jealous of this person's success and progress and as a result rather than attacking the gentleman's possessions from a physical approach the decision was made to deal with him from a spiritual perspective (witchcraft). Unfortunately, because of his lack of knowledge concerning the laws that govern the spiritual realm and his lack of knowledge of dream interpretation dreams he like many others become victims of their lack of knowledge.

Friends, I find it necessary in educating and informing you spiritually on these perplexing matters which I am almost certain you'll probably never hear at your local church assembly. I myself was once ignorant to these things and as a result suffered much unnecessary losses and countless defeats. The reality is it wasn't the spirits and demonic forces that defeated me instead it was my LACK OF KNOWLEDGE of spiritual laws, principles and protocols that maintained my defeat. Now that I know and understand these laws, I now know how to effectively apply the word of God which is spiritual law against my invisible enemies whose job is to rob me of my spiritual blessings that will automatically produce losses for me in the natural.

As a reminder, Scripture says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. It is this type of knowledge and understanding that you're lacking that is securing your continued defeat. However, scripture further advises us of the importance of knowledge when it said, "but through knowledge shall the just be delivered" Proverbs 11:9b. Please take these teachings seriously and apply what you've bee taught.

Discernment: The Eyes Of The Real World

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things
which are seen are temporal, but the things not seen are eternal" 2 Corinthians 4:18.

These were the words penned by the Apostle Paul to the church of Corinth. Basically, the Apostle is encouraging the church in Corinth to pay greater attention to the things of the realm of the spirit rather than being misled by visible things. The Apostle Paul clearly understood, based on his statement, the primary rule or principle of the spirit realm: all things, visible and invisible, have their origin in the unseen world, or what we know as the spirit world. In fact, he went a step further by revealing that the contents of that world are eternal, suggesting that nothing in it ends or dies, unlike in our world, where everything has a beginning and an end.

Today, I would like to share with you some spiritual insight that I hope will not only expand your spiritual understanding but will also cause you to focus on what is real and of greater importance, as opposed to visible things, which, for the most part, and at best, can be misleading and waste your efforts. Have you ever wondered how a person could be so anointed, carry many titles such as prophet, master prophet, Evangelist, Elder, etc, and can not discern the spiritual root behind your physical matters?

How is it that when a so-called prophet calls you up to prophesy to you, for the most part, he or she only sees material things such as houses, cars, promotion on one's job, etc., and rarely, if ever, reveals the spiritual root causes of your ongoing matters?

In Luke 13, scripture tells us that a woman was physically challenged for 18 years. Her ailment was that she could not stand erect; she was bent over, and again she was in this position for 18 years. Scripture further reveals that she was a daughter of Abraham, suggesting that she was a Believer of God Almighty. So, two questions popped into my mind while pondering on this passage of scripture.

1) How could a child of God be physically challenged for such a long time and

2) How come this church she attended, presumably for 18 years, could not discern the spiritual root cause behind her physical illness and, by the power of God, set her free?

Well, scripture records that while Jesus was teaching in this particular synagogue, he immediately spiritually discerned that this woman had a "SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY," unlike the other "title carriers" who just saw her in a physically incapacitated state and proceeded to cast the "SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY" out of this woman. It is further revealed that immediately when this "SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY" was cast out of this woman, she was able to do what she could not do for 18 years, and that was to stand erect. As usual, Jesus is attacking the root, not the symptom.

Again, how is it that her spiritual leaders could not spiritually discern the fact that even though she had a visible physical illness, they could not discern the spiritual root behind it? This was really challenging for me to comprehend because it made me wonder whether her spiritual leaders were truly concerned about her well-being and whether they were as spiritual as they claimed to be. For example, after Jesus had delivered this lady from this oppressive spirit, it is said that the synagogue leaders were angry with Jesus, questioning him as to how he could perform such a deliverance on the Sabbath day. Wow! Now isn't this interesting? Their behavior clearly shows that they were not interested in the lady being healed. In fact, as far as they were concerned, she could have stayed in that position and condition until the day she died; their behavior also suggests they were focusing more on what was visible rather than on spiritual things, which they ought to be focusing on, according to the Apostle Paul...Wow! Just for a moment, seriously think about your church. Do they speak and behave more towards material and physical things, or are they focusing on the spirit of Adultery, the spirit of division, lying spirits, etc? During prayer, do the prayers for you or the congregation go like this, "Lord, send a financial blessing, Father, open the windows of Heaven and pour out financial resources," or due to their spiritual insight, they're praying against the spirit of poverty and the devouring spirits that are consuming your spiritual finances thus, disabling physical, financial resources to manifest in your life?

Now, let's turn the limelight on you and your place of worship. After all the prophecies regarding new spouses, homes, cars, inherited wealth, etc., again focusing on material things, did the Prophets and spiritual leaders discern spiritually the spirit of infirmity attacking your body with cancer? Did the prophet see the witchcraft targeting your life? Did the prophet discern that your illness is not natural, but its origin is that of witchcraft, and even if it has been revealed by the prophet, did they do what Jesus did and cast the spirit out, so that, like the woman who had the spirit of infirmity, you can enjoy a better quality of life? How about this one? Did the prophet see that piece of paper with your enemy's name written on the inside of your shoe, signifying hardship and oppression for your enemy, as the source of why you can not get ahead in life? You see, my friend, the more you use the bible as a benchmark or measuring stick to the nonsense that these misguided folks do, the more you'll see why, after all the prayers, all the sowing of financial seeds, and whatever else they have been asking you to do, absolutely nothing is happening for you.

To discern is to observe that which is beyond the physical, just like how the Apostle Paul said in my opening statement,  "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Why not join me in prayer this morning, asking God to open your spiritual eyes to discern beyond the natural displays of your physical circumstances, and to cause you to see the root causes of past, present, and future issues in your life and the lives of others. Father, remove the spiritual scales that have compromised our spiritual sight and have led us to focus on the physical rather than the spiritual. Lord, we are asking you to amplify your spiritual gift of discernment in our lives so that we are better able to discern and decipher your will for our lives and to identify and resist the counterfeits that would attempt to seduce and lead us on the road of destruction in the mighty and matchless name of your son and our savior, Jesus Christ. Amen!

I hope you're not sitting on your God given gifts

Rather than sitting on your God given talents and gift and waiting on someone to "ordain" you with some title to begin your operation of them. You need to be operating in your gift NOW!!!!!

There are many folks trying to discover their position in life, however the talents and gifts that God has given you to assist them with are laying wast, while they're suffering unnecessarily. How long will you sit under that dormant, lifeless, riddle with tradition Ministry, while the folks that God has assigned to your anointing wander about aimlessly and quite possibly being hurled into a Christless hell. Make no mistake these folks blood will be on your hand as a result of your inactivity.

God has been calling and prompting you to begin excising the gifts and talents he's given you, but as usual you're quite satisfied with adhering to regular church tradition while under the assumption that once you follow those traditions you're in right standing with God. Here is what scripture says about those of you sitting on your gifts and talents and believing it's okay:

"For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their (sonship)." Romans 8:19. Creation, mankind is desperately waiting on you to get it together so that they can be delivered and advanced.

Do you know what your gifts and talents are? Are your spiritual leaders on a quest in assisting you with discovering those gifts and talents? Are you being assigned by  your church leadership in the areas of ministry where your gifts benefits most? Are you sitting under a dictator like leadership that is only interested in tradition and the Pastor is the only one that can mount the pulpit to preach, while the God given talents of the members go to waste?

You were not sent to your church by God to sit on your gifts. In fact your leaders aught to have spiritually recognize your God given talent and began the process of training you and eventually deploying you in the area of ministry that will advance the kingdom of God in the earth. Romans 8:19 can not be achieved if you're sitting under an egotistic oppressive leader that have misplaced the purpose of being a Shepard over the sheep or you just decided to make the decision to sit on your gifts and talents.

I promise you, the day of reckoning will come which of course is the day of Judgement and many folks are under the misguided belief that the day of judgement will be primarily about God judging sin as we know it. On the contrary, according to Matthew 25:13-30. It is interesting to know that in this parable the servant that decided not to use his God given talent was labeled as a WICKED and SLOTHFUL servant and eventually cast into outer darkness.

Now, isn't it surprising that there is no scriptual evidence in this particular chapter where this servant fornicated, lied, committed adultery, stole or participated in any sin that would have warranted his end result? However, his sin was the disabling, inactive, non-use and procrastination of the use of his talent, with the purpose of benefiting others. Have you ever been taught by your religious leaders that no matter how holy you may appear to be or claim to be and by extension not participating in any known sin does not negate the fact that the non use of your God given talents and gifts could place you in an eternity you never prepared for wile on earth? Yes you sing in the choir, but is singing your gift? Yes you love to preach or teach but are you in the right calling or this is where you want to be because of the prestige and lime light it brings to you?

This is divine revelation my friend and it is not by chance you have read this article to its end. Ask God to reveal to you what gifts and talents he's given you. Along with asking God to place you in an environment that will recognize and train you in what God has called you to do with the sole intent of deploying you in the right area or ministry.

I will end with this, it is frequently said in religious circles that what God has given you no man can take from you, but lets compare this misleading statement with what scripture has to say, "So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away" Matthew 25:28-29. Now, will you believe man or God?

Read the word for yourself, study the word for yourself, seek understanding of your purpose and where God has called you to be. At the end of the day you can not blame no one but yourself for not multiplying what God has invested in you!

Someone Was Commanded By God To Help You

The Lord has placed you in the mind and in the spirit of someone who may not look the part, but they have been anointed just to sustain you. As a reminder, it is the anointing that destroys yokes, as stated in Isaiah 10:27.

CAUTION: The individual who has been dispatched to provide support may appear to require assistance themselves. Nonetheless, it is this divine connection ordained by God between both parties that will supply the essential resources to sufficiently meet your needs.

Scripture records that the word of the Lord came to Elijah, saying, "Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have COMMANDED a widow woman there to sustain thee" 1 Kings 17:9.

We would later learn in this same chapter that this same woman needed help herself. In fact when Elijah showed up the woman via her own admission said to Elijah that her son and herself were about to eat the last of what they had and then prepare to die, 1 Kings 17:12. Now, least we forget, 1 Kings 17:9 clearly stated that God told Elijah that he had commanded the widow woman to sustain him. Before we proceed further with this spiritual insight, let's define the word 'sustain'. The word sustain means to support, hold, or bear up from below; or to bear the weight of something. It also means to supply with food, drink, and other necessities of life.

Logically, one must ask, if to sustain means to provide assistance to others, then how was this obviously lacking in resources, woman supposed to sustain Elijah? Just like you and I, Elijah could have dismissed this woman based on her appearance or her obvious circumstances. However, it is clear that both parties ignored each other's physical positions and conditions, and were more interested in obeying the word of the Lord that was given to them, which would later produce the promises made by God to both parties.

As a reminder, God commanded Elijah to go to Zarephath, and God commanded the widow woman to sustain Elijah; both parties OBEYED THE COMMAND OF THE LORD. Elijah, as a prophet of God, declared the essential resources into the widow's life, not only due to their divine connection but more importantly because of their obedience to God. These resources sustained her and her son throughout the drought in Israel.

I'm here to tell anyone reading this that God has sent someone to support you. Please, do not make the mistake of judging what your help should look like, and thereby ignore or dismiss the help God has provided. It's also crucial to understand that the person sent to support you WILL COME SEEKING HELP FROM YOU or may seem to be in need of assistance! Remember, the help you give to your unassuming supporter is what will unlock the resources you need. Divine connections combined with obedience lead to provision!
