Please, Help Me I'm Hurting

The most incredible pain a person can experience while going through a difficult period would be the rejection and gaslighting from those they seek help from concerning their situation.

It is beyond my human understanding how insensitive some folks can be concerning the hurt and pains of others, particularly those that they claim to love and care for. Please remember that you must never reduce what that pain or discomfort is doing to that person. In fact, you could possibly be the last human contact they attempted to reach out to before ending their life.

I want to share some of what I think is much-needed wisdom in these trying and hurting times that so many folks are experiencing.

The following are some pointers to consider before what could possibly turn out to be or appear as insensitive behavior:

1) MAKE TIME FOR THOSE YOU KNOW ARE HURTING.

2) LET THOSE THAT ARE HURTING VENT.

3) WHOMEVER OR WHATEVER HAS CAUSED THE HURT TO THE ONE THAT IS HURTING, DO NOT PLAY REFEREE BY POINTING OUT TO THE PERSON WHO IS HURTING WHO IS RIGHT OR WHO IS WRONG (Hellllllo now is not the time for that).

4. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT, AND I MEAN DO NOT, TURN THIS HURTING PERSON'S PAIN INTO AN ARGUMENT.

5) CEMENT INTO YOUR MIND THAT YOU ARE THERE TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR THEM, NOT TO BECOME AN ADDED THORN IN THEIR SIDE.

6) PRACTICE LISTENING MORE AS OPPOSED TO TALKING. SOME HURTING FOLKS JUST WANT TO TALK, THAT'S IT. THEY JUST WANT TO BE HEARD WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS.

7) ALWAYS REMEMBER, DO YOUR BEST TO TRY AND UNDERSTAND THE PAIN OF OTHERS AS OPPOSED TO ATTEMPTING TO BE ALL INTELLECTUAL, GIVING THE APPEARANCE OF HAVING IT ALTOGETHER. EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY THINK WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY IS GOOD ADVICE, THEY MAY NOT WANT TO HEAR THAT ADVICE AT THE TIME. TIMING OF ADVICE IS KEY, MY FRIEND.

8) IF YOU MUST SPEAK, PLEASE REMEMBER, THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU! INSTEAD, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE ONE WHO'S CURRENTLY LIVING THIS ORDEAL. SO PUT YOUR ANGER, IMPATIENCE, AND PRIDE ON HOLD FOR NOW.

9) DO YOUR BEST TO BE REAL WITH THEM, MEANING DO NOT BEHAVE AS IF YOU CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BE OVER WITH OR GIVE THEM THE IMPRESSION THAT YOU HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO.

10) IN ALL HONESTY, SCRIPTURE IS PROBABLY THE LAST THING THEY WANT TO HEAR AGAIN; TIMING IS EVERYTHING IN DELICATE MATTERS SUCH AS THESE.

11) LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR DAY OF HURT AND PAIN IS PENDING LIKE ALL OF US. SO YOUR BEHAVIOR TOWARD THE HURTING NOW ARE THE SEEDS THAT WILL COME HOME TO HARVEST WHEN YOUR TURN ARRIVES.

Please! Don't let them hijack your destiny

Destiny is defined as a predetermined place prepared well in advance of those that it was developed for. It is also described as the predetermined or inevitable course of events.  

There are many of you reading this right now whose destiny was hijacked. This means that someone, something, or someplace has stopped you from being at a predetermined place to experience God's best for your life, but more importantly, your path to your destiny has been diverted. In other words, instead of you going forward, someone, something, or someplace is taking you in the opposite direction of your God-intended destiny.

The evidence of folk’s destinies being hijacked is the simple fact that things never work out for them, no matter how simple those things may be. The hijacking of one’s destiny is also accompanied by a toiling spirit, meaning one would work extremely hard at something but receive little to no reward, compliments, pay, or anything to show appreciation for their efforts.

There is an interesting story in 1 Kings 13. The story tells of a prophet whom God had commissioned to declare future events to a particular King.  However, this Prophet was given specific instructions by God, namely not to eat or drink nor go out the way that he came into wherever God would have sent him to declare the lord's word. A hijacked destiny suggests that the one whose future has been hijacked is automatically programmed to fail in life. Their new destiny is filled with misery, grief, difficulty, confusion, and frustration.

The story continued when the old prophet said to the prophet of God, “I am a prophet just like you, and an Angel told me that you must come to eat and drink with me." Unfortunately, the prophet of God foolishly heeds the advice of this old prophet. Unfortunately, the prophet of God has no idea his destiny is about to be hijacked. Long story short, the prophet of God was condemned by God and eventually killed.

The above story is a classic example of how one's destiny is cleverly hijacked. It begins with the enemy sending someone in your life filled with ulterior motives. This person is usually subtle, conniving, and sheepish in their behavior, never revealing their true identity or purpose for being in your life. However, it doesn't matter how clever they may appear; their common trait is to always forcefully or subtly divert the destiny of their victim.

In Genesis chapters 1 and 2, God created the earth, and amid the earth, a magnificent garden called the garden of Eden. This garden would later be the habitation or, should we say, the destiny of Adam and Eve. Like Adam and Eve, God has also prepared our destinies well in advance of our arrival here on earth, according to Ephesians 1:3-4. 

Nevertheless, like all destiny hijackers, Genesis chapter 3 begins by saying how the serpent was more subtle than any of the beasts of the field. Meaning he never revealed the true identity of his real purpose, which was to hijack Adam and Eve's destiny. Long story short, he was able to cause them to violate the command of God by eating the forbidden tree, which resulted in the immediate hijacking of their destiny. Adam and Eve, unfortunately, were placed outside of their destiny/The garden of Eden.

There are several lessons to be observed here when it comes to the hijacking of one’s destiny:

a) Those that are determined to hijack your destiny are fueled by jealousy and competitiveness

b) Those determined to hijack your destiny are rarely your enemies; instead, they’re folks who live within your circle for the most part.

c) Destiny hijackers are, for the most part, never pushy, instead very cunning, crafty, and subtle in behavior.

d) Destiny hijackers are adamant about knowing so much about you but providing you with little information about them.

e) Destiny hijackers will always attempt to make it appear as if both of you have so much in common. In fact, the entire idea of them retrieving so much information on you is to become what you like or find interest in.

f) Destiny hijackers’ primary goal is to always gain their victim's trust to wisely prepare to hijack their victim's destiny.

g) Destiny hijackers will, for the most part, resort to and twist scripture to further pull you away from your purpose.

h) Just like Judas Iscariot, the disciple that betrayed Jesus, destiny hijackers will smile, kiss, and continue their act of affection and concern toward you as they lead you to your demise

I) Questions that destiny hijackers ask are not just mere questions. Instead, the questions are intended to expose your most vulnerable areas to a future attack.  

J) Destiny hijackers are very determined about you breaking the rules or attempting to make the rules appear to be a stumbling block to something better.

 Based on this brief teaching, I strongly advise you to re-evaluate the folks in your life and compare them to the above understanding. Then you decide if your destiny has been hijacked or there are potential destiny hijackers currently subtly working in your life.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” Matthew 7:15.

Everything else can wait! But Lord I am in urgent need of spiritual knowledge

Do you want to be free from mental torment today? Are you sick and tired of the same old repetitive
problems that you're face with day after day? Do you desire to be done with the failures and non-progress that’s repeatedly occurring in your life?

Well my friend knowledge and awareness will be the keys to your relief. You see, you are where you are because there are forces assigned to you, aka the spirits of ignorance that’s literally ruling over your life, simply due to you failing to make it your purpose to attain knowledge. Ignorance however, has become the fuel that’s powering your oppression and non-progress.

The laws of the spirit realm makes it abundantly clear that folks are in bondage, failing, not progressing, sad, depress and overwhelmed by life’s challenges all because they’re being intentionally kept from a certain piece of knowledge in regards to their situations, that if discovered and applied, will automatically free them from their dilemmas.

The laws of the spirit realm clearly states that folks are destroyed or held in bondage to certain vices because they are lacking in the area of knowledge, Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13.

However, spiritual law also dictates that deliverance will be issued to us via the acquiring of knowledge, Proverbs 11:9. Spiritual law further states, "A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge will increase in (spiritual) strength" Proverbs 24:5. This is important to note because it will require spiritual strength to defeat the spirits of ignorance.

Let us therefore refuse to assist the spirit of ignorance any further by choosing not to know the root of our problems and let us remind God of his word by asking him for the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge according to Isaiah 11:2, all in an effort to subdue the spirit of ignorance that has been consistently securing our defeat.

Your spiritual gifts are the keys to your destiny

Someone! Anyone! in order for your spiritual gifts to make room for you, your gifts must be on display for it
to be recognized. Your gifts are the keys that will release you into your destiny!

God in his infinite wisdom has already conditioned the hearts, sight, and ears of others to search and give special attention to the gifts he has given you..... In fact, there is someone, a particular group, a certain organization that is in search of what you have to offer. Please hear me today as I speak into your spirit; your wealth, that nice home, a better life for your kids, being debt free and whatever else is all wrapped up in that gift that has been laying dormant in you.

Timothy was instructed by the Apostle Paul to stir up the gift of God that was in him through the laying on of hands, 2 Timothy 1:6. Suggesting that he was gifted but was doing absolutely nothing with his gift. Could this be a reflection of your current situation?

The lost of your job, the cut in your pay, the disappointment that relationship has brought you, the constant lack of funds are all sticks of opportunity poking you to exercise the gift that God has provided you with to begin the process of opening the right doors for your wealth and your time to advance.

I don't know who you are or where you are at this point in your life, however, what I do know is that the assigned folks that God has commissioned to promote and elevate you can only do so when you decide to step out on your gift...... Every gift from God has been accompanied by his hand picked group (saved and unsaved folks) who may have zero idea of who you are or you knowing who they are but in any event they have been unknowingly commissioned to identify that unique gift in you. In other word they're looking and seeking for you and don't even realize it.. Wow!

You're in a financial dilemma because you're not using your gift, you feel as if you're going no where because you're not using your gift. You're not advancing in ministry because you're too busy imitating your pastor instead of exercising your GOD GIVEN GIFT!

The bottom line is this my friend, your opportunities, favor, financial blessings, dream home, dream car, your kids school tuition, the right connections to advance you to the right people and the right places are all locked away in a spiritual vault waiting on the key which is your gift to be unlocked to take you to where you should be at this point in your life.

The Lord said to remind his people, "IT IS YOUR GIFT THAT HE HAS PROMISED WILL MAKE ROOM FOR YOU" Proverbs 18:16.

Thank God for assigned times and seasons

Ask God this morning to provide you with patience, a clear mind and the ability to push past all visible and
invisible distractions that Satan has put in place to discourage and re-route you from your "SET TIME" of favor, opportunity, advancement, healing etc.


 I want to say to someone today, that everything during the course of our lives is indeed "TEMPORARY!"
 You just might be at a low or disadvantaged point in your life right now but according to the spiritual law of temporary, even your low or disadvantaged point has an assigned time attached to it.

The spiritual law of temporary dictates that there is a specific time and season for every purpose" Eccl. 3:1. Therefore, good, evil or indifferent all have a set time to exist in our lives. Being at the back of the line today is not a guarantee you'll be there tomorrow. Being the outcast at your place of employment has a set time, it will not be that way forever...... The spiritual law will not allow it!

As a reminder scripture records that it is God that changes the times and the seasons, Daniel 2:21. What could it be that God is changing in your favor through your current circumstances? What is it that God is desiring you to learn from this situation so that you'll be prepared for your next time and season?

Joseph, was an outcast by the actions of his brothers. What his brothers and including himself did not know, was that, there was a divine time and season set on the oppression assigned to that period of Joseph's life. However, when that assigned time had expired, his former position had no other choice than to release him into the next phase of his life.

Many of you reading this post are about to be catapult into your next appointed time and season. Just like Jonah the place you are currently at right now will vomit you into the next appointed time of your life, thus the reason for the opposition you've been facing there. The enemies of our appointed times and seasons are the wrong people, the wrong places and the wrong things, their sole purpose is to see to it that you don't meet those divine appointments, which is achieved by wasting your time being attached to them......... My God! Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that you've connected yourself to that's keeping you from where you should be at this point in your life?

Heavenly Father, keep us on the right path to our next time and season by removing the wrong people, places and things from our lives that were sent on assignment by the enemy to hijack our destiny. Supply us Lord with the ability to focus and to keep pressing forward in spite of the many challenges in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ!

"Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the "SET TIME", is come" Psalm 102:13.

God will always confirm his word

God will always confirm his word that he has internally or externally communicated to you.

Is he the one, is she the one? Is this the right home, the right job, should I be at this church? Am I doing the right thing, was this the right choice?

Scripture says the following: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for

 Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16. Scripture which is God's word to us is never by accident or chance when we come into contact with it. In fact, scripture clearly indicates that God is indeed the one inspiring us at that moment. The word inspiration comes from the word inspire which means to produce or arouse a feeling or thought. It also means to be influenced or motivated by something or someone

2 Timothy 3:16, started off by saying "All scriptures is given by inspiration of God" meaning there is no scripture that you come into contact with that God isn't trying to motivate, inspire, confirm or instruct you concerning His will for your life at that particular time of your life.

Have you ever just opened your bible and the first scripture you set your eyes on spoke specifically to your situation? What about driving in your car and some preacher was preaching specifically to your position? What about being at a particular office and there is a tract sitting on the table speaking about a situation you're currently faced with? Again, these are not just mere accidents of coincidence. It is God instructing you, leading you, coaching you, advising you, counseling you with the purpose of leading you to the right person, the right place, the right job, the right home, the right decision and ultimately navigating you to achieve the best life!

What did God say to you while reading his word today? What did he ask you to do or not to do while praying this morning, whose face did he flash before you while reading his word? What did he confirm to you concerning that person, that place, that thing? What did that still small voice explicitly say to you and just when you opened your Bible that passage of scripture you read confirmed exactly what that still small voice said to you?

You did not read or hear, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" by accident, It was not by coincidence you saw on a billboard, "If God be for you who can be against you." It was not by chance that you found what appeared to be a piece of trash on the floor but when you looked at it closely it read, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide thee with mine eyes" Psalm 32:8

I don't know whose spirit this post is speaking to today but what I do know is that you're not reading this post by chance, accident or coincidence...... God is again confirming his word to you, my friend!

Why does it appear as if God is promoting and advancing my enemies over me?

I am always excited for others when it is their time to advance in life. The reality is their advancement is a sign

that I just could be next in line.

Once we come to an understanding of spiritual law concerning promotion and demotion, we quickly comprehend the fact that it is God and God alone that promotes and demote all people. So in actuality our promotion isn’t necessarily based on our hard work, our education, our being connected to important people etc.

How many folks that you know that have the advantage of the above mentioned but still are at the back of the line? My friend please read what I am about to say next very carefully. Promotion for all people (good and evil) is solely based on God’s calendar of promotion and demotion. One of the many attributes of God is that he’s omniscient, which simply means he’s all-knowing, all-seeing and there is nothing that escapes his knowledge of things past, present and future. Therefore one’s promotion or demotion is based on God’s greater plan for mankind as opposed to the glory of any individual.

For example, it may be surprising to you if I said that it was God that elevated Adolf Hitler, Saadam Hussein, The Pharaoh of Egypt, Nebuchadnezzar, King Herod, Muammar Gaddafi and other tyrant oppressive leaders. It was this same God that elevated peace makers such as a Dr. Martin Luther King, Guandi, Mother Theresa and so many others like them that brought peace to the world. Nevertheless, religion would mislead you to believe that God only elevates good people and demotes bad people when the truth is scripture clearly says otherwise.

“For promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west, nor from the south but God is the judge: He is the one that ultimately puts down one and sets up another” Psalm 75:6-7.

“The LORD makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and lifts up” 1 Samuel 2:7.

"For he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust" Matt.5:45

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings” Daniel 2:21

“The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD” Job 1:21

“And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it” Ezekiel 17:24

“I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me” Jeremiah 27:5.

"This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers And the decision is a command of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And bestows it on whom He wishes And sets over it the lowliest of men." Daniel 4:17. Please read Job 12:12-25 for an in-depth understanding of God’s supervision of all promotions and demotions.

Absolutely no where will you find in the above scriptures where God said he will only demote those that do evil and promote only those that do good! Instead, the overall understanding of the above scriptures is that God who is all knowing chose whom he will to promote and advance his agenda according to his divine will. Scripture is saturated with such evidence. In fact the entire book of Judges is basically littered with such occurrences, where through the disobedience of the children of Israel God would raise up their Enemies to oppress them until they confess and cry out to him. Then he would rise up a leader among the children of Israel while demoting their opposition.

God’s plans are far more complex and far more reaching than our limited desire to be the Boss, the manager, a supervisor or even president of a company instead like I have pointed out to you via scripture those promotions and demotions in life will solely be based on God’s will for our lives at those times of our lives according to his calendar of his divine plan. This now explains why that person who only has a high school education is your Boss even though you’ve dome 4 years of college and holding a Master’s degree. This also explains why the children (God’s chosen people) of Israel were enslaved to Egypt for over 400 years in Egyptian bondage, all because God said it would be so according to his plan, Genesis 15:13-14.

Okay! So you didn’t get the promotion, you didn’t get the raise you expected neither did things advanced like you though it would have. Now let me ask you this question, are you upset and depress because your plans didn’t pan out or because God plans did?

I speak from experience and that is, when you name comes up on God’s calendar for elevation in whatever area of your life there is absolutely no one that can prevent that from happening. Just like how no one could have prevented the elevation of that wicked, illiterate or oppressive person from becoming your Boss. The bottom line is simply this, God knew what they were all about from day one, it was no surprise to him how wicked, mean and oppressive they have become to you and it was because of who they were, good or evil that he had calculated them into his plan to achieve his ultimate will. Wicked leaders as well as good leaders are all a part of God’s plan and no one can overturn the plans of God Almighty. Scripture plainly says, “There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD” Proverbs 21:30

My friend, begin to meditate on this word today and put aside your agenda and ask God to reveal to you as to where do you fit in his agenda. Say to God, “Lord I am now aware that it is you and only you that promotes and demote, now remove from my heart that hate and bitterness I’ve developed because I felt so and so should not be elevated over me. Help me to see your way of doing thing as opposed to my limited view in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen!
