Many of you reading this note this morning have prayed over and repeatedly for financial help, prosperity, increase, overflow, etc. Some of you have even had folks prophesy over you concerning future wealth, monies, finances, etc. However, at this point, more than likely, nothing has happened. In reality, you are now in a worse position since that prophetic word.
Even though I have shared this insight before. I strongly felt I should reiterate it with even greater clarity to cement into your understanding the importance of knowing the mystery behind your prosperity.
My friend, anything that is a mystery requires the keys of revelation to be revealed or understood. Likewise, it is no different when it comes to the secret of prosperity. You might be questioning yourself right now, saying, "How is prosperity a mystery?" Well, you tell me? How is it that you spent 4-5 years in college for a better quality of life, but the person who only has a high school is in a better financial position than you? How is it that you're the president of a company; however, John Doe up the road who's working for someone is in a better position than you? How is it that you have such a brilliant mind when it comes to budgeting, balancing, and finances overall? But somehow, you're better at instructing others what to do financially, but you're a disaster when it comes to your own finances? What is wrong with this picture?
Well, I'll tell you what's wrong, and what is wrong is your CONNECTIONS AND LOCATIONS! Yes, you read correctly, Just like Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 9:11. " You will not win the race because you are swift. You will not win the battle because you are strong. You will not eat bread because you are wise. Neither will you have riches because you have understood, neither will you receive favor because you have skills. Instead, he said, that Time and opportunity are exposed to all of us.
The reality of what's being said here is quite simple, and that is. During your life, God has sprinkled it with prosperity. However, real wealth will almost always be connected to an assigned person/s and or places. Once those pre-ordained connections have been made, it will reveal or expose what was always prepared for you. The truth is, only God knows where these specific locations are and whom we need to connect with to manifest their purpose. For clarity, these prepared locations are also known as your destiny.
In most cases, our location or destiny has been hijacked, and here is what I mean by that. We've allowed someone or something to intercept our journey to what was supposed to advance, promote, or prosper us. They have succeeded in their efforts to delay us, mislead us, distract us, or hindered us in some way from meeting up with those assigned divine connections. This may have subtly been achieved by marrying the wrong person or just dismissing God's will for your life. Why are you still at that place that you know you should have left a long time ago? Why have you allowed fear and doubt to disable you from journeying to your assigned place? Why have you let that person waste your time and opportunities that were specifically designed to advance you to your location of relief, comfort, and enjoyment? Consider your situation and connection, my friend!
Trust me, as you continue to read this article, a specific location presently retains your prosperity. Let's do a historical review to prove my point. The Garden of Eden was the location of success for Adam and Eve. Only when they were expelled from their assigned place of wealth did life become complicated and frustrating. Not being at your designated location is equivalent to a fish being out of water. A fish will continuously operate at its peak as long as it remains in its designated environment, water. When a fish is removed from its God-designated place. It works harder and eventually dies if it does not find its way back to its intended position. It is no different with humans beings. When we find ourselves in places we were not meant to be and insist on remaining there. WE END UP WORKING HARDER WITH LITTLE RESULTS THAT WILL EVENTUALLY PRODUCE DEATH! Abraham, God said to Abraham, "Come from among your people to a land that I will show thee," again, a specific place where prosperity awaits him. In this same chapter, 12 of Genesis, a famine showed up right after Abraham left his home of comfort. Now, doesn't this seem ordinary with God? He says something to you, and all hell breaks loose immediately after?
Well, as you are about to see in this story, "famine" was the connection to Abraham’s prosperity. The famine caused Abraham to do what he never would have done under normal circumstances. It caused him to relocate to Egypt. Unknowing to him, Egypt was (the assigned location) where he would be furnished with resources and wealth. Note, he did not ask or beg for it either. It was freely given to him. This is what the correct location or position would automatically do for you. In the following chapter 13:2, it says, "And Abraham was VERY RICH in cattle, in silver, and in Gold.
Let us look at the life of Elijah. Elijah prophesied to King Ahab and Isreal that there would be a drought for three years. Interestingly enough, Elijah would be a part of this drought also. Nonetheless, God gave Elijah specific instructions concerning a particular place that would cause him to prosper amid the drought. Let's read what God's instructions were to Elijah after the drought was commanded. "Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shall drink of the brook; and I shall command the ravens to feed thee there" 1 Kings 17:1-4. Again my friend, location accompanied with instructions are crucial to prosperity. Upon further reading this same chapter, you will discover that eventually, the brook Cherith dried up. God then instructed Elijah to another location, only this time he must connect with someone in a worse position than him. However, once the connection at that assigned place (Zarephath) was made. It, produced in that same once desolate place, the prosperity that God had appointed before the foundation of the world. As in the case of Elijah. Do not be discouraged by the packaging of the connection. It is what that God's divine connection has been designed to produce for you that is important.
Scripture reminds us that God has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. Meaning everything was already in place before we were placed on planet earth, Ephesians 1:4.
So far, I have shown you what happens once you're in the right place, having been connected with the right people, prosperity becomes inevitable. On the other hand, if you’re in the wrong place or have overstayed your time in a particular situation, you should have left a long time ago. The results are, you work harder but produce very little, even though you're a college graduate with several degrees, even though you are the president, CEO, supervisor, boss, etc. The reality is your employee lives better than you. The help has a better life than you. All because someone is in the right location and someone isn’t.
Jacob, the son of Isaac, worked for his uncle, Laban. Laban became a wealthy man because of his nephew, Jacob. However, Jacob received very little of that wealth. This is usually the result of being in the wrong location or connected to the wrong folks. Attached to you is what is called a "TOILING SPIRIT," meaning you work hard but bring in little. Laban, who eventually became Jacob's father-in-law, used Jacob's talents and gifts for his own selfish gain while Jacob toiled. It was only when Jacob had enough and decided to go the separate way to enjoy life. Take a moment and consider your connection and location, my friend; this just could be the source of your toiling.
Another example is Isaac, who was the son of Abraham; scripture says in Genesis 26 that a famine broke out in the land, and at that time, Isaac lived in Gerar. However, just like his father, he wanted to go to Egypt. Egypt, from all accounts, seems to be the place of comfort during the famine. Please read carefully what scripture says in verse 2, "And the Lord appeared unto Isaac, and said, "Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the LAND WHICH I SHALL TELL THEE OF." Again, a specific place where obviously, Isaac’s prosperity was already prepared. If you continue reading the story, you will discover that Isaac, who listened and obeyed God's instructions, prospered. In fact, he thrived in a land during a famine, where the people of that same land were not flourishing.
My friend, make no mistake the right connections and locations are the keys to prosperity. I pray that you will trust and rely on God to lead you to the right places that currently hold your wealth. Just like in Abraham's case, I must warn you that not all connections and locations from the surface will appear suitable. In fact, it will probably give every reason not to be a part of it. However, scripture gives the antidote for this when it says, "In all thy ways acknowledge him (God), and he will direct thy path" Proverbs 3:5.
Scripture further tells us that the profit of the earth is for all, Ecclesiastes 5:9. The question you should ask is, “Where is yours?” Bottom line prosperity is a place connected to something or someone, prepared in advance awaiting your arrival.

ReplyDeleteI come in agreement with Minister Kevin's prayer concerning my prosperity and may You Lord guide me to my real destiny in Jesus Mighty name! AMEN!
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteThis is the third day in a row I'm hearing and reading this from three different teachers of God's Word.
ReplyDeleteAmen
ReplyDeleteWhy is the focus on prosperity? Where in God's word did Jesus say to focus on prosperity? As long as I have Jesus, I'm rich. The Lord has blessed me to grow so much more spiritually when I have less money in my bank account then when I have more. That is when I have learned to walk by faith and I have never gone without either. I get to experience the many ways He takes care of me so beautifully. One of my favorite quotes is from Hudson Taylor. During an especially trying time in the work of the China Inland Mission, Hudson Taylor wrote to his wife, “We have twenty-five cents—and all the promises of God!"
