I wish to offer encouragement to the individual who has suffered profound wounds and has consequently concluded that life is merely a cycle of sorrow, entrapments of disappointment, and despair. Before proceeding with your next step, kindly allow me a few moments to speak.
Drawing upon my own experiences, I have transformed my life's struggles, pains, disappointments, and failures into a new perspective for understanding life. Similar to yourself, I have encountered numerous instances of disappointment: inexplicable hurts, broken promises, and persistent thoughts regarding life's purpose.
There were times when I felt as if praying was a waste of my time, to the point I had actually stopped praying (which I do not recommend). The abovementioned challenges were doing more for me than I could have imagined. Like everything else in life, every matter, every situation, and life's circumstances have a time frame for their existence. However, during its tenure, we have been conditioned to focus on the negative aspects of it as opposed to viewing it as a new lesson to be successful at future tests. In retrospect, I can indeed thank God for every stumbling block, every setback, every disappointment, and everything else that was unfairly issued to me. Now that the tenure of those challenges has ended. My view of life has changed dramatically; I have developed a greater appreciation and understanding of life.
Listen, my friend, I want to remind you today: the biggest mistake you could make is to give up or lose hope. Remember, everything you're experiencing is part of a larger plan, even when it's hard to see. God often doesn't show us the full picture because it’s meant to guide us step by step. Think about Joseph’s story—imagine if he knew everything ahead of time. He might have felt overwhelmed and wanted to give up. But instead, each challenge was preparing him for something greater. Keep going, because these moments are shaping you for where you're meant to be.
As someone who has personally gone through pain, betrayal, disappointment, and despair and now lives beyond those struggles, I urge you: do not give up or give in. If you see things clearly, your difficulties are temporary and are shaping you for a better future. I promise that with patience, you'll look back and be glad you persevered. However, you need to be ready for that point, which is why you're facing these challenges now.
Remember, life often feels tough, sad, or disappointing when you're going through change. But it's these very challenges that help you value and cherish what’s meant for you. With your current mindset, it might be hard to enjoy or handle what's coming up, and your attitude today could even hold back your growth tomorrow. Stay positive, remain focused, and know that what you are currently going through is just a small piece in a bigger picture.
