The Mystery of Demonic Altars: How Ancestral Covenants Still Control You

In the world of witchcraft, covenants are made at demonic altars. Demonic altars are covert places erected
by witches and warlocks to summon demonic entities to do their bidding, but more importantly, to covertly bind that person, and by extension their family, to that altar.

The power of a demonic altar is created through the spilling of blood at that altar. It is always the blood sacrifice performed there that summons evil spirits to oppress others spiritually.

What Most Christians Get Wrong About Altars

Unfortunately, very few Christians understand the spiritual implications of an altar. If you asked most believers what the significance of an altar is, they would likely say it's simply a place where one prays. While that may be true to a certain extent, altars carry a far greater spiritual implication in the realm of the spirit.

You May Already Be in Covenant and Not Know It

Many of you reading this right now have no idea that you may be spiritually in covenant with a demonic altar. Unknown to you, you were spiritually tied to a demonic family altar the day your fore-parents, another family member, or even you yourself made the mistake of participating in the works of witchcraft. What that family member, fore-parent, or you did not realize was that the moment that decision was made, an evil covenant was simultaneously forged, tying the participants and their family members not only to that demonic altar, but to a life of oppression and strange, negative circumstances.

Gideon: One Man's Altar, a Nation's Oppression

Let me offer some biblical proof to unveil the mystery of demonic altars. Scripture tells us in Judges 6 that the children of Israel were under serious oppression for seven years at the hands of the Midianites. Israel could not understand the reason for their oppression, or why God would allow it in the very land He had promised them. They cried out to God, and God sent an angel who instructed Gideon to go to his father's house, which would reveal the root of why they had been afflicted for so long.

When Gideon arrived, he discovered that his father, unknown to the rest of Israel, had a demonic altar set up in his own home, an altar to Baal:

"Throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it." (Judges 6:25)

Because of this altar, secretly erected in his father's house, with sacrifices being made to a demonic deity, the surrounding nation found itself under oppression. It is worth studying this passage closely; Israel's broader idolatry as a nation is also named in Judges 6:1 as part of the cause, and Gideon's obedience in tearing down his father's altar is presented as the turning point that opened the door to national deliverance.

Until the Covenant Is Broken, Nothing Changes

I have met with many people who have asked me to pray with them, pray for them, or fast with them, and nothing happened. We would later discover that nothing happened, even with fasting and prayer, simply because that person was already initiated into, and in covenant with, a family demonic altar, unknown to them.

Covenants are respected by God. Before God can move on your behalf, that evil covenant must be broken. In Gideon's case, it was only after he destroyed his father's altar and erected an altar unto God, offering godly sacrifices, that the spiritual order changed. That destruction paved the way for Gideon and the children of Israel to progress and subdue their enemies.

This same kind of spiritual activity keeps some groups, families, organizations, or individuals from advancing in life. As long as we continue in ignorance, or simply rely on what a preacher tells us rather than searching the Scriptures for ourselves, we remain prone to failure and defeat.

I could write volumes on this mystery. This understanding is essentially a foreign language to the average Church, simply because they do not understand the power and spiritual weight of covenants made at altars.

How This Shows Up: Finances and Relationships

If you have been a Christian for years, faithfully paying your tithes and giving financially, yet you still find yourself broke or continually struggling, chances are you are spiritually tied to a family altar. Here is how it works: whatever item a witchcraft practitioner instructed someone to bring to the altar as a sacrifice, and whatever money was exchanged to "pay the spirits" to do their bidding, that exchange formed an unknowing covenant with that altar. As a result, everyone in that family may carry a money problem until the covenant with that altar is destroyed.

The same is true if a family member, or you yourself, once visited a witch doctor to bring about separation in someone's marriage or relationship, so that you could be with that person. That altar now controls the destiny of every relationship in that family, because a covenant was covertly established between the one who desired the evil and the altar itself.

Finding the Root

This is why it is vital, in my ministry, to ask questions that may seem irrelevant to the person seeking help but that, to me, are always in search of the spiritual root keeping that person moving backward in life. In roughly seven out of ten cases, it becomes clear that the person, a parent, grandparent, spouse, or another family member was or is currently involved with witchcraft. As a result, that person was unknowingly tied to the altar.

I know many of you are reading this for the first time, and I suspect this very mystery has been the source of your relentless struggles. Ask God to reveal whether the source of your problems is an altar in your life you may not be aware of. More importantly, ask Him to destroy the spiritual covenant holding you to that altar. Please note: whoever is in covenant with a demonic altar, whether knowingly or unknowingly, is ultimately controlled by it.

Make sure you do a spiritual and physical cleansing prior to 2015

While December is known for a month of celebrating the Christmas holidays. Personally, I find it an excellent month to consider doing a fast.

When we look back at the events that have happened throughout this year, especially considering the stress, difficulties, deaths, etc. I find December as a month we should detoxify our spirits and bodies via fasting.

Having done several fast myself, with the most lengthy one being 40 days consuming water and natural juices only, the benefits are quite rewarding, particularly with the bonus of being realigned spiritually and mentally with a sharper sense of purpose.

Fasting is the act of abstaining from particular or all food, drink, or both, for a while. There are two types of fasting, 1) Absolute: fast: an absolute fast is defined as abstinence from all food and liquid for a specified period. Then there is 2) A partial fast: A partial fast is where one would eat certain foods and drinks for a defined period. In most cases, a partial fast would be limited to just fruits or vegetables and water only or water and natural juices.

According to the book of Isaiah, it is said that a genuine fast will loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke, Isaiah 58:6.

 Amazingly, in verse 8 of this same chapter, the prophet Isaiah said, "Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity" Isaiah 58:8-9.

The statement, "thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily," simply means that your understanding, wisdom, knowledge, and discernment will spiritually and physically be realigned. It will be sharpened with better clarity and your health restored.

Now, please bear in mind lest we become confused; Isaiah is speaking to the people of God in this text, which we know to be the children of Israel. I am attempting to point out this very much overlooked point simply because most folks are misguided into believing that Believers of Jesus Christ can not be burdened, oppressed, or spiritually challenged. In fact, when others see Christians challenged, it is assumed that there may be unconfessed sin in their lives. They're likely in desperate need of a fast to realign and reinforce their spiritual power and authority.

Just consider it for a moment. Everything in life needs some type of rejuvenation or maintenance to maintain optimum performance. Therefore, the human spirit and the body are no different.

I am seriously encouraging you to attempt some type of fasting before you enter the new year as spiritual and physical detoxification from this year's events and be fully prepared spiritually and physically for the coming events of next year.

Can Fasting Be Used For Good And Evil

During our last teaching on fasting, we basically covered the overall aspect of fasting
and its benefits.

Today, I wish to underscore that fasting is a spiritual principle and protocol for soliciting answers and divine reinforcement from the spirit realm.

Firstly, fasting is a spiritual principle whose purpose is not just to rejuvenate or restore the individual spiritually. More importantly, it is a way of summoning the spirit realm for help or answers to certain confusing earthly or spiritual issues. For example, whenever the nation of Israel faced war with their enemies, the whole country would usually join in fasting to seek God's guidance before engaging in battle, as seen in 2 Chronicles 20:3.

In another instance, when Israel faced oppression and plunder from their enemies, and they were confused about the reasons behind it, they fasted to seek God's guidance for their confusing problems, Ezra 8:23.

Many people are unaware that fasting is a spiritual principle; it isn't limited to godly matters. As a result, fasting can also invoke demonic or evil powers and knowledge. Typically, most Christians associate fasting only with Godly things. However, 1 Kings 21:7-13 states, "And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise, eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite."

8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the elders and the nobles in his city dwelling with Naboth.

9 And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:

10 And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.

11 And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters she had sent unto them.

12 They proclaimed a fast and set Naboth on high among the people.

13 And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city and stoned him with stones, so that he died.

After reading this passage of scripture, we must ask ourselves, who was the nation of Israel fasting to? The entire fast was based on lies; Jezebel sent two men as witnesses against Naboth, who apparently lied to him. How is it that the Elders and nobles of the city could not discern that this fast was not of God? Finally, how is it that in every case where Israel fasted, the result of the fast would be that God would send a prophet to declare what would be a consequence of the fast? However, in this case, no prophets were involved, and no answers from God about what Naboth's outcome should be. In fact, it appears as if they went through a political procedure to officially execute Naboth that was fueled by demonic fasting.

This evil fast, of course, allowed them to be advised and controlled by Satan. However, for the most part, just like many of us today, when we hear the term fasting, we think it is automatically Godly. I have read many books by pastors who were once witch Doctors or witchcraft workers, and via their own admission. At the same time, they were a part of the occult; they would go on arduous fasting to summon the help of more extraordinary demonic powers to do their evil bidding.

I will take it a step further. As you may recall, the Prophet Isaiah was confronted by the children of Israel about a particular fast they had observed, but nothing came of it afterward. Here is what the Prophet Isaiah, as an oracle of God, said to the children of Israel:

"Why have we fasted, they say, and you do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge [of it]? Behold [O Israel] on the day of your fast [when you should be grieving for your sins]. You find profit in your business, and [instead of stopping all work, as the law implies you and your workmen should do], you extort a total amount of labor from your hired servants.

The facts are that you fast only for strife and debate and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Fasting as you do today will not cause your voice to be heard on high.

Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of the heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord?" Isaiah 58:3-5 Amplified version.

Question! Could someone be making evil fasting against you and, as a result, blocking or hindering your future blessings?

The exact protocols to fasting

The word "then" is an excellent indicator of pointing to something that's going to happen next. It is also a term that refers to something being added, for example, "I love my job, but then it pays well also."

In today's teaching on fasting, we will explore this word regarding fasting to reveal that when we participate correctly in fasting, it will be "THEN" that things will begin to happen or change for us.

Scripture admonishes us that during our times of fasting, the things that we took pleasure in and comforted us before fasting, such as our food, home, and other comforts, we must now distribute or share them among those who need them. In fact, this particular protocol of fasting is essential if we desire to reap the benefits that come with it. Let us read below what the prophet Isaiah had to say about this to the children of Israel:

"Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?" Isaiah 58:7. As you would have read, a part of the process of fasting is to share what we would have usually been comforted with before fasting. He insists that we do not hide from the needs of others during this very critical period of our fasting.

In verse 9 of this same chapter, it begins with our word, "THEN," "Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,

10 And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday" Isaiah 58:9-10.

Again, I must emphasize that the prophet is not speaking to sinners or people who worship other gods. In fact, he is talking to people who have identified and were at that time serving the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of heaven and earth. He revealed to them that to realign themselves with God's purposes and bring them back spiritually, where they should have been at that point, they had to follow the complete protocol of the fast. What I found to be rather interesting was the fact that the scripture started by saying:

"Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say. Here I am, which is a clear indication that God was not doing this before, and whatever it was that they were doing wrong that caused it would have required the protocol of this fast for Him to not only hear them and their cry but also respond to them.

My friend, please listen to God speaking to you through this article today. Have you been feeling as if God has forgotten you or he's just not listening to you? Do you feel as if everyone else's prayers are being answered except yours? Have you been tossing to and fro in your mind the thought that you have been a Christian for so long, and there have been no signs, wonders, miracles, or the power of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in your life? Are there particular problems in your life that no matter how much you pray, they refuse to move? Is your health failing, or are you just right out confused about everything?

Well, if you have answered yes to any of the above questions. Then you are in desperate need of a fast, with a view to following the exact instructions provided above, which I have meticulously laid out for you according to scripture. I speak from much-accumulated experience, and I strongly advise you to complete a fast to break the cycle of fruitlessness in your life.

Three day dry fast-to eliminate spiritual sickness

I have written quite a number of articles speaking specifically about spiritual sickness. At the same time I have received, and I am still receiving numerous emails as to how to combat and defeat such sickness.

In today's teaching on fasting, we will be focusing on the 3 days dry fast to eliminate spiritual sickness. Firstly, a three-day dry fast is a fast where one will not consume any liquids or food at all, there are no exceptions to this and it must be for 3 days or 72 hours. It is highly recommended that time is set aside specifically for this fast where there will be no form of distractions of any kind. Before this fast, scriptures concerning cleansing, purity, righteousness and the like should be written down in advance to be repeated during prayer time during the fast. I also strongly advise that the person engaging in such a fast MUST BE SIN FREE DURING THIS PERIOD! Meaning, there must be a confession of all sins particularly unforgiveness, sexual sins, etc. before the fast. Again, this will not work IF THERE IS UNCONFESSED SIN IN YOUR LIFE!

The reason for this specific fast is to eliminate the body of any and all points of contact that has become the source of the spiritual sickness that is now resident in the victim's body. For example, let's say an enemy has placed witchcraft contamination in some food that has been consumed by the victim. Of course, it will always look and appear as regular food. However, the spiritual items in that food which is not visible to the human eyes are spiritual contamination set to pollute the spirit of that person. Some of the physical symptoms the victim will experience would be unexplained swollen legs, various unexplained skin diseases such as lesions, rash, bumps, and lumps about the body. The victim will also experience strange things or objects crawling or moving throughout their body. They will also experience seeing things on their body that is not visible to others. The victim will be flooded with strange thoughts of fear and death, massive headaches and an overall feeling of sickness, that again cannot be explained, and no Doctor can identify its cause naturally. There are cases where the victim has had this evil in their system for so long that certain limbs either become disfigured or the victim becomes so sick that their appearance changes to something other than who that person use to look like. I personally know of cases where when such a person dies, with a distorted sickly appearance, the minute they pass away their features and appearance resume to who they looked like initially.

This is just evidence of the spirit of infirmity that had their spirit oppressed and in turn manifested in their physical appearance but again, once the body dies or the spirit is cast out everything returns to normal. I always use the story in Luke 13 as an example of when Jesus cast the "spirit of infirmity" out of the woman who was bent over for 18 years and immediately when Jesus cast the spirit out, the lady that was bent over for 18 years was able to stand up erect like everyone else.  Just for clarity, the human body becomes the host for the spirit of infirmity that becomes responsible for changing the appearance of the human host to a distorted figure, Matthew 12:43-45.

The interesting thing about this particular type of spiritual contamination is that whatever ingredients that this contamination was mixed with is what will fuel this evil once consumed by the victim. For example, let's say this spiritual contamination was placed in the victim's food of beans, rice, chicken, etc. Well, the water, salt, seasoning, butter and whatever else was used to mix this meal which included the spiritual contamination is all a part of that contamination.

Therefore, as long as the victim consumes anything in the future that is remotely related to the ingredients that made up the spiritual contamination their sickness will become worse. Of course, this will naturally sharply decrease the victim's quality of life and eventually kill the victim if not challenged by prayer and fasting. Thus, a dry fast is designed to starve the spiritual and physical contamination by not consuming anything for 3 days. Of course,  specific prayers laced with relevant scriptures must be violently prayed.

This explains why the victim has been praying for years to be delivered from their sickness and absolutely nothing changed for them. Some folks have given up on God simply because they did not understand the nature or root cause of their illness. Unfortunately, such spiritual challenges and many others like them will require prayer and fasting. Jesus himself said that this kind will only come out through prayer and fasting, Matthew 17:21. The reason why 3 days is required for such a fast because; the number 3 biblically speaking represents completion, perfection, etc. and if followed as prescribed you will see changes. The following prayer is to be recited 7 times every 12 hours of the fast until the fast has ended:

Heavenly Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, I confess all sins that I have committed against you in word, deed, thought and in action. Lord, I repent of all evil that I have done and, if there is any evil within me that I'm not aware of, I ask your forgiveness of those sins and pray that you cleanse me of all evil in Jesus name.

Lord, your word says that my body is the temple of the Lord and that I must also present my body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto you. Lord, I am asking you during this fast in which I am surrendering my body as a living sacrifice unto you that you spiritually and physically remove all evil contamination that has been subtly deposited into my body that has caused unexplained sickness in my spirit and body.

Father, I firmly stand on your word that will bring about my healing. Lord, your word says, "Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" Isaiah 41:10. Lord, I bind myself to your word that says, "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou [art] my praise" Jeremiah 17:14. Father God, your word says that death and life is in the power of my tongue. Therefore I speak death to all spiritual and physical contamination in my body and, I command all residue of it to be passed out of me in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. Lord, you said that we should remind you of your word, therefore, I am reminding you of your word that says, "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth" Jeremiah 33:6.

Father, your word says you will supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, so I am asking you to provide me with complete healing and deliverance to my spirit, soul, and body in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Lord, I am reminding you again of your word that says, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I have condemned all tongues that have risen up against me in judgment. Therefore, I am in a state of expectancy from you in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ.

Lord, you said that you have seen my ways and you will heal me, you promised that you will lead me also and restore comfort unto my mourners and me, Isaiah 57:18. Finally, father, I am digging my faith deeper into the foundation of your word. Your word says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed." Therefore, I decree and declare complete restoration of my spirit and body and whatever is in my system I send the fire of God against it and command it to be eliminated from my body in the name of Jesus Christ, which is the name above all names. Amen!

Your Wisdom and Knowledge is Limited if You're Not Fasting

The New Testament emphasizes how we should conduct ourselves while fasting. Fasting should be a personal matter and should be shared with others only if someone is fasting alongside us for a specific reason or for a particular person.

"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth; they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your unseen Father; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." Matthew 6:16-18.

Well, based on the above scripture, there is indeed a reward for a genuine fast. Nevertheless, your reward can be limited if you try to publicize your fasting. In fact, scripture clearly says that those who make it a point to look distressed during fasting have received their reward in full. Simply put, their reward would be the compliments and accolades they receive while broadcasting their fast, such as how disciplined they are, how much they love the Lord, their commitment to the Lord, etc. However, as far as the actual result of fasting is concerned, such as breaking yokes, undoing heavy burdens, setting the oppressed free, etc., this will never be manifested in that person's life.

We are encouraged to treat fasting as a personal matter between ourselves and God. In fact, we are advised to refresh our outward appearance and not to show any signs of fasting to others. Scripture tells us that God, who is invisible, sees the fasting we do in secret and rewards us publicly. From my experience, I believe that one of the rewards God provides is a surge of wisdom and clarity.

Isaiah 58:10 says, "Then shall your light rise in the darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday." Light in this text symbolizes knowledge and wisdom, while darkness indicates ignorance. So, according to scripture, a fast will elevate your knowledge and wisdom, dispelling the ignorance that once overwhelmed you. In other words, be prepared to understand things you did not know before, either after or during fasting.

It didn't end there; it stated that your obscurity and gloom would become like the noonday. "Obscurity" refers to something or someone that is unclear, ambiguous, vague, or uncertain. In contrast, "gloom" is defined as total or partial darkness and dimness. Before I continue, it's important to note that Isaiah, the prophet, suggests that the children of Israel may lack knowledge, experience confusion, and, in the worst case, be consumed by ignorance because they don't fast or fast incorrectly.

However, he has simultaneously provided the remedy for the born-again believer who thinks they have it all together. That is to enter a genuine fast to stimulate, replenish, restore, or impart much-needed spiritual knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Therefore, a fast will cause your once obscurity and gloom to be dissolved and your wisdom and insight to come forth or replace what you were unaware of.

The most frightening and challenging aspect of this situation is that there are Christians who have never fasted throughout their entire Christian journey. Even more concerning, some of these individuals preach to others. Regardless of one's perspective, fasting should be a fundamental discipline for every Christian who intends to grow and, more importantly, be relevant to the things of God and the spiritual realm. True fasting is designed to propel you forward and provide breakthroughs that ordinary prayer might not achieve.

As a side note, show me a Christian who does not fast, and I will show you a confused, lost, and misguided believer with little, if any, Godly manifestations in their life.

Fasting will take your human spirit to another level

While some individuals may have difficulties with fasting, the debate arises about whether fasting should be limited to abstention from food and water or refraining from particular pleasures.

Well, my teachings are based on the biblical way of fasting. I will continue to believe that if we desire a God-promised result. Then, we must follow Biblical protocols regarding fasting. If one considers not watching television for a month as a fast, then that is between them and their god. However, biblical fasting requires depriving the body of food and water or just food alone. This literally weakens the flesh and, at the same time, detoxifies the body. As a result of fasting, there is a greater awareness of the human spirit regarding the spirit realm. In other words, your spirit is now ruling your flesh and not your flesh ruling your spirit.

As a reminder, the real you is your SPIRIT and not your flesh. Your flesh is what makes you legal on the earth. The human spirit is trapped in its physical body, which we also call the flesh. Therefore, it will always be your human spirit that longs and desires with great hunger for intimacy with the Spirit of God. Still, if your spirit remains in your body, there will always be some interruption, distraction, or war between the two. This is why scripture says, "For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would" Galatians 5:17

Therefore, fasting crucifies your flesh or weakens it by depriving it of food and water so that the human spirit, without interference by its flesh, can dominate and commune directly with God, his creator, on a higher level. This is why you would come across scriptures such as, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" Matthew 26:40-43.

Fasting should be viewed as a greater level of spiritual warfare. It is to access more significant revelations from God to reveal the mysteries on earth. Simultaneously, fasting is a clear indicator that your spiritual battle is against a greater demonic power. Here is the proof; in Matthew 17, there was a man whose son was possessed by a demon. The man took his son to Jesus' disciples, who failed to heal him. The man, in his frustration, took the boy to Jesus. Long story short, Jesus healed the boy. After everyone left, his disciples pulled him to the side and asked Jesus why they could not deliver the boy of the devil that possessed him.

Jesus answered and said, "This kind will only go out by prayer and fasting" Matthew 17:21. Kind is defined as a different order, genus, species, breed, or set. In other words, this is not your regular demon. Instead, it is a greater power, which in this case and other cases will require PRAYER AND FASTING!

As many of you may or may not know, the disciples did not fast while Jesus was on earth. Here is the biblical proof: "And the disciples of John and the Pharisees used to fast: they came and said unto him, Why do the disciples of John and the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?"
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast" Mark 2:18-19.

So, the above passage clearly reveals how believers of Jesus Christ can be limited in power and ultimately subdued by the enemy if they neglect prayer and fasting as a part of their Christian discipline. Contrary to popular opinion in this same chapter, even the Pharisees understood a fast exercise that, at minimum, dismissed food. Also, in this same chapter. More importantly, in Mark 2:20, Jesus specifically said, "But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days."

The above verse dispels the notion or belief of others that we are not required to fast. Again, the scripture says that when the bridegroom, Jesus, is gone, the disciples not might but "SHALL" fast!

Well, this concludes my teachings on fasting. I want you to understand the importance of fasting and its protocols so that you can operate correctly.
