So you don't like your son's girlfriend, or your daughter's boyfriend. You may have preferred that your son had married someone else, or that your daughter had made a better choice in who she decided to marry.
As a parent, it is essential to understand that you should not interfere with, dictate, manipulate, or ruin the relationships of others, especially those of your children. You have already lived your life, so it is crucial to avoid the temptation to live indirectly through your children. Unfortunately, many relationships have been stifled or destroyed because of controlling mothers or intimidating fathers who had no business meddling in relationships that were not theirs to control. It is important to respect the autonomy and freedom of others to make their own choices in life.
When Interference Turns to Witchcraft
One of the greatest tragedies I have witnessed in relationships is the desire of a parent to resort to witchcraft in an attempt to destroy their children's unions by manipulating the minds of their children's spouses or partners. All along, the victims have no idea that their own flesh and blood have resorted to evil spiritual means to make their lives miserable. While you're sleeping at night, they are forging evil covenants with evil spirits to oppress you.
We must ask God to give us the gift of discernment, or to amplify our understanding so we are spiritually enabled to detect, discover, and distinguish these people and their devices.
"Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall." (Proverbs 4:14-16)
A Man's Enemies Are of His Own Household
"And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." (Matthew 10:36)
Very rarely would a person's natural enemies, or those constantly opposing them, be a stranger or someone unfamiliar to them. I have dealt with many of these cases before, and believe me when I say it will require much prayer and fasting for the spiritual eyes of the victims to realize that it is their own family doing this to them.
A Case I Encountered
Some time ago, a young lady was encouraged to see me concerning strange happenings in her relationship that she knew were unnatural. This young lady did not realize how much her mother hated her partner. Her mother, through witchcraft practices, advised her to place certain items and sprinkle certain unknown concoctions inside the home she shared with her partner. The mother convinced her daughter that this would improve things in the home, while also insisting the daughter never tell her partner what she was being asked to do.
Whenever the daughter visited her mother's home, the mother would always "predict" negative things that would happen between her daughter and her partner, and according to the daughter, precisely what her mother said would happen did. The daughter was unaware that her mother had bewitched her to the point that she could never see her mother as the one sowing the evil seed. Instead, she saw her mother as the one who had her back.
It was inevitable that the couple would eventually have heated arguments, face financial difficulties, and develop an interest in people outside their relationship. Shockingly, the young lady's mother even suggested she see other people. Under her mother's influence, the daughter believed everything her mother advised was correct.
Signs of Demonic Oppression From a Family Member
I want to say to someone that the source of your unexplained financial losses, discord, foolish arguments, kids acting up, an inability to progress as a family, and your lack of desire for your mate may be family members or in-laws working against your union through witchcraft. They either believe their loved one is too good for you, or they are jealous of your relationship with their relative. This scenario is more common than you might imagine, and only God's wisdom can free you from it.
If you are under demonic oppression caused by someone practicing witchcraft against you, the signs can include:
- Constant confusion
- Difficulty sleeping
- Irrational arguments
- Tiredness and frustration
- Forgetfulness
- Financial challenges
- Abnormal sexual urges
- Recurring perverted dreams
- The sensation of someone feeding you in your dreams
- Pain around the neck and shoulder areas
The person responsible will usually act sheepishly and offer you cursed items disguised as gifts: something for your home, food, or a "spiritual" item to wear for good luck. Be aware of such offers. They are meant to restrict you spiritually, and will, by default, limit you physically.
You Cannot Fight Witchcraft With Witchcraft.
"Through knowledge shall the just be delivered." (Proverbs 11:9)
I mention this because I have witnessed many people resort to that same source of evil for relief, only to multiply their sorrows. You cannot fight witchcraft with witchcraft.
"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand." (Matthew 12:25)
What to Do
I cannot place enough emphasis on this: you and your partner may be the victims of a selfish family member who, for whatever reason, has issues with your union and wants to see your relationship fail. Pray against the spirit of witchcraft and controlling spirits. More importantly, understand that the ongoing havoc in your life is the result of evil spirits summoned from evil altars.
Ask God to reveal the point of contact in your home, whether it's a strange gift, a book, a figurine, or a piece of clothing, being used to maintain the evil directed at you. Whatever God reveals to you, destroy it by fire.
You Reap What You Sow
It is important to remember that our actions carry good or bad consequences. The Bible teaches that we will reap what we sow. Those who intentionally harm others are laying the groundwork for a challenging future, for themselves and for their loved ones. God will hold us accountable for the evil we inflict on others, and we will always harvest more than we sow. Let us be mindful of our actions and strive to do good for others.
Today, many people need help understanding why trouble after trouble finds them, with no relief. Could it be the harvest of evil seeds their parents, or even they themselves, once planted in an attempt to destroy others, and are now reaping in return? Make no mistake, my friend: every action causes a reaction. Do what is right now, so that someone will do right by you and your children in the future.
